My Casper (spitz-chi) looks nice, minus the cut on her tummy. My biggest complaint was one of the ladies started yelling at me for my dogs behavior. She's been to a few groomers and never had that issue. Everyone tells me she's a good baby. Went to pretty paws with my grand puppy a bernadoodle bc that's where she's been going . My sil dropped them off and I picked them up. 1st I was quoted 50 and paid 65 (she was not matted) , 2ndly my dog didn't like that brutal lady who yelled at me and 3rd neither Casper nor Luna are going back bc of the treatment my dog and I received. Do not recommend , will be going back to Scenthound. Amazing how a couple of employees can trash a business. The girl with the piercings wasn't much better. I am writing this review with a sad heart we took our 19 year old dog gizmo to get his haircut last Saturday and we told them about his condition with his collapsed trachea and being blind. They said oh we deal with this all the time. so since we have been home coughing a lot nonstop and as the week went on his coughing got worse to the point he was wheezing. Used to love pretty paws but this is the second time my dog has come home with a collapsed trachea immediately after I picked him up. My poor guy is coughing up a storm and is so uncomfortable and I'm out 300$ from emergency vet fees...again. I'll be finding a new groomer who is more careful and gentle. read more

I brought my Australian shepherd in for an overdue bath and cut. When scheduling I asked if they had experience with Aussies and I was assured they did. My husband dropped off and said to go as short as they can without damaging her undercoat. They apparently took this as shaving my Aussie down to 1/2 an inch all over her entire body... I have never in my life been so shocked upon seeing my dog returned from the groomer. While she did have matting on her butt hair, the rest of her coat was fine and did not require to be shaved that short. They also admitted that they had three people "hold her down" while shaving her coat this short, as they said she was shaking and crying the entire time... lastly, when all 3 of my dogs got home they each spent about 5 minutes at the water bowl chugging water... they were at the groomer from 9:30am-2pm, were they not provided with water that entire time? From the way they would not leave the water bowls, it absolutely seems that way. I will never use this business again and would caution anyone with a particular breed that requires skill and experience with the coat because this groomer is clearly lacking on every level. The lady at the front even admitted she thought my Aussie looked badly, but yet they thought it was an acceptable job?! Absolutely sick and disgusted with the way my animals were treated and work they did. I would give -5 stars if that were an option. Editing my response to respond to the salon. There is clearly not a standard check in process and discussion about what was wanted because if that were the case, both myself and husband would not have been in complete shock when we saw our dog. You are absolutely lying when you say that you stated you were going to cut our dog down to 1/2 an inch because that would have immediately been addressed. We were under the impression that your salon was going to cut our dog as short as her coat could go within the realm of a standard Aussie cut. Which is why when we scheduled we specifically asked if there was experience with cutting Aussies. We would NEVER had agreed to your salon cutting her down to 1/2 an inch ALL over her body. Cutting a dog down to 1/2 an inch all over her body did not require any skill or experience, that is something I could have done at home myself, not paid to be completely shocked and disappointed. In addition to you cutting her that short without discussing that with as, the cut itself is absolutely terrible and the groomer herself even stated that she did not believe that the dog looked nice. We are fully aware of the grooming process of an Aussie and have never experienced the lack of professionalism, communication, and quality of work that we did at this salon. We were also told the owner would be contacting us today? Still waiting on that. Your salon has done absolutely nothing to ease our complete disappointment in the job done, you have taken no accountability for the lack of communication in checking in the dog and following pick up. Your lack of professionalism overall is evident and in your business and your work. read more

Our kids our happy when they leave. That's key. Listen to your four legged kids, ours didn't want to go in to thier previous groomer... so we made a change. Here the puppies easily walk in the door. The groomers take the time necessary to not stress them out and they look great. read more

We took our Frenchie here for the first time today. The presumed owner was knowledgeable about the breed of our dog and was very receptive to our concerns. They were timely with the service, and our sweet pup was soft, smelled so good, and her usually rough paws were smooth as ever. Not to mention she's already itching less. First time customers and the last. If you want your dog to spend 3 hours in a cage and a 1 1/2 to be trimmed go to pretty paws, thats how long it took to trim my puppy's face and paws.
