I needed a waist alteration but she took the time to do some small fixes on my dress too ( a small hole in the tulle, and strap). I am so so happy! I needed the four panels for my window curtains repaired as the stitching had come apart along both sides of each panel that connect the back to the front. These were my bedroom curtains back when I was in junior high in 1968 so they are not only 50+ years old but also hold a lot of sentimental value. Based on a recommendation from another dry cleaning place (not the one that did these four panels) I stopped by and talked to the owner. Turns out the reason the stitching had "disintegrated" was because the thread used back in the '60's was made from nylon and apparently when exposed to heat (you know, that dry cleaning process) it has the potential of dissolving the thread. Who knew. So I learned something new. I brought in each panel one at a time so I could still keep the bedroom window covered for privacy. It only took two days and they did an amazing job! I brought in a sports coat that had been attacked by moths and they were able to patch up the holes for my father in law. I'm so disappointed with the treatment I received from the store owner and employee. I was told this was the cheapest alterations place in the area not only by a bride but also by the employee and owner (it was shouted at me multiple times). I dropped two bridesmaid dresses off to have the length hemmed shorter but was told this would cost me $200. (Turns out another bridesmaid had her length hemmed for $35 at Alfred Angelos bridal store). I was there after hours and felt left to leave, but called the store 20 minutes after leaving, left a voicemail and asked them to please not hem the dresses because I could not afford the cost. My message was detailed and explained I was sorry for the confusion but needed them to call me back as soon as they could. The next day I never heard anything from them so I gave the store a call only to find out that in less than 24 hours she had hemmed both dresses. When I went to pick up a dress I explained my financial situation and that there was no way I could possibly pay them the money. Especially after I asked them not to. She lied and said she did them so fast because she "promised me she would have them done on Monday" (They were dropped off Thursday). That was a complete lie. The sewing machines are in the store, she had to of heard my voicemail. I told the store employee that $200 would not work for me and he assured me we could work something out. I tried to work with them and the owner was immediately very angry and yelling at me. Their treatment was awful and so dishonorable. I'm really upset with my experience and truly feel that they intentionally cheated me. read more

I can't explain how rude and in descent these people were. When My friend asked them to hold the dress they went ahead and did it then completely ripped her off and were yelling at her!!! DO NOT go here!! They are terrible to their customers and way too pricey! read more
