I don't even want to give them one star. These people are flat out RUDE...I came in about two weeks ago around 6:40pm for just a quick clear overlay on my nails (they close at 7:30pm) and they told me that I needed to come the next day. UMMMMM are you serious??? There were two people in there working on two customers that were having their toes polished....so you couldn't do a quick service and you all don't close for another 50 mins....I will never attempt to go here again EVER!!!! read more

This place is gross. Flys flying around me.. Bugs in my wine. And now Cellulitis of the thumb requiring antibiotics. This place is dirty. For a place that is so dirty I would expect cheaper prices.. It's the same prices as these luxurious ones around the corner.. Also all the nail polish had notes on it saying don't steal.. What kind of crowd goes here because no one was there when I went? Beware of MRSA! They do give good massages like other reviewers say but it's not worth the risk of infection. I came here for a manicure. It's not a fancy place but you will get fancy service. This place has a great selection of current polishes in your favorite brands like OPI and Essie. I really enjoyed the massage I had with my manicure. The tech put me in a massage chair and set it for me which was cool because I didn't have to figure out how the chair worked and I could get to business enjoying myself. They also offer you a free drink whether it be bottled water or a glass of wine or a beer. Nice touch! I can't wait to go back for both a mani and pedi next time. Oh, and it's very affordable here! Absolutely beautiful work! I got a full set of NexGen and it came out exactly how I wanted/asked. The nails are long but "natural" and I have gotten so many compliments already :) She perfected the shape and took such care. I was so excited to finally treat myself with getting my nails done but didn't have a "nail person" I always go to. I am verrrrrry picky! As opposed to the nail salons in Uptown, the decor is a bit older, but I personally don't care about all the added bonuses that many pay for at overpriced salons. A N Nails is by far the best place and most reasonable priced nail salon I have found in Dallas. You do have to make an appointment since they are a smaller business but it is worth it. I have been going to AN Nails for 6 years now. Every time I have had to go ANYWHERE else I am disappointed. They are the sweetest people (husband and wife) ever. You cannot get better gel nails for the price. And to everyone who was told they were "busy"-- Sometimes, they are the only two people who are working, and they have never, ever done anything but their upmost to accommodate. Also, give her a break, she speaks enough English to be polite and do exactly what you want (and an amazing arm/leg massage) but when she gives you a wait time or (god forbid) wants to leave work on time and asks you to come back the next day, she is absolutely not being rude- she is doing her best. I work in the service industry as well, and while it might look like there is nothing going on, you don't know if there are two people with week long appointments about to walk in, or someone in the back getting a full body wax, etc. In general, just don't walk in somewhere minutes before an service-establishment closes and expect them to stay late because you want something. If she has any questions, Tuey is a jazz with color. I depend on her sometimes to match what I'm thinking and she does. And they get new colors all the time! Let's be honest, I'm pedicure all the way. I mostly like having my feet rubbed, but every now and again I'll get my nails done for a wedding or something and everything I've had done is done well. Also, this place is so cozy! They serve one free beverage (including wine! or beer). Dani and Tuey are friendly and professional and they always make sure I like the color I've picked. If I don't make appointments with my sister or my cousin (I brought them and they're addicted now), I swear I make friends every 2 out of 3 times because the women who come here are so cool. Ok, so I am from Los Angeles, & the prices SCARED me, but after comparing to other salons in this area, I realized they were the cheapest. Me & my boyfriend went for manis & pedis & I got the gel nail polish. They provide spa pedis (absolutely mandatory) and have a decent selection of nail polish brands and colors. It is small and quaint, but roomy enough. They give great hand & arm, and feet & leg massages and provide a wine list (white wine, please, thank you)! My boyfriend enjoyed his massages and his buff, but did not like that it felt hot in there (there didn't seem to be any AC or fan on & sitting in leather spa chairs doesn't help). But, they did an overall great job on my hot pink toes and my glitter-on-glitter gel manicure. They shaped my natural nail well, too, which I appreciated. For all we got, we paid $85 + $15 tip = $100 total. We're satisfied, so that's all that really matters. =) read more

I read through the high reviews and went to A N nails with high expectations. I was sorely disappointed.This Thursday I got a Mani +Pedi. First off, they did not so much as greet me when I came in and the lady on the phone was abrupt and rude. I was on time but waited almost a half an hour for my mani +pedi to begin even though there were only two other women in the salon. The woman had no people skills. She literally glared as she walked by and ignored her customers until she had to ask them to move things or what color they wanted. Her husband was kind and the pedicure felt and looked awesome (the only reason this is getting 2 stars) but I was primarily concerned with my manicure and that was so chipped by Sunday that I had to take it off and do it myself BEFORE my engagement photo shoot. I will not be returning and frankly, I have no idea how they have kept the high ratings. I spent $40 to have nail polish put on that came off before the weekend was through. read more

I got a super cute pedicure, which was affordable ($24) for the quality and time that the employee spent prepping my nails, doing a wonderful foot/leg massage, etc. I read other reviews that the nail polish chipped within a day or two, but that hasn't been my experience at all so far, even though I've been outdoors and walking around quite a bit in sandals. I went in wanting a dip manicure and pedicure, along with a polish change for three girls (5,7,9). When the lady asked me what I wanted and I told her, she rolled her eyes and sighed when I mentioned the girls. She then slowly walked my way and looked around and said it would be at least a two hour wait but closer to two and a half hours, even though there was no one in there besides a lady getting a pedicure.
