We ordered the chilaquiles topped with two sunny side up eggs, crema, and cheese, served with refried beans and breakfast potatoes. Everything looked so delicious, and I loved how much food came on one plate! The combination of the crispy tortilla chips, flavorful sauce, and runny egg yolks made for such a satisfying breakfast. The potatoes were a great addition, and the beans complemented everything perfectly. We also tried the country fried steak topped with creamy gravy, served with eggs and hash browns. This was another hearty portion and definitely a great option if you're craving a classic comfort breakfast! I also appreciate the casual, welcoming atmosphere that makes this a great place to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. It's always nice finding a family owned restaurant that serves comforting food with generous portions. Would definitely come again!!

If you enjoy a Mexican breakfast this place has it all. Chilaquiles with chicken or birria, chorizo and eggs, chili verde omelette, and other authentic dishes you'd find in a traditional home. And the flavors don't disappoint. These are meals that are comfort food that go back for generations. Anyone lucky enough to have an abueluta cook for you with homemade goodness will enjoy the quality here. Not to mention a wide selection of tradition American items like eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast etc. If you have a hankering for a hearty and flavorful breakfast this is your place. Just be sure to do an activity to offset some calories right after :)

Not what I was expecting when I Yelped this so we almost decided to go somewhere else since it wasn't what I was expecting Ambiance- old school diner. The door to enter has a sign that says "restrooms are for customers only". We got here at noon and there was a handful of peeps eating at tables and the counter and outside In the back facing 101. Service- 3 stars. Kinda slow. Took awhile for the waitress to get our order. She did get our drinks first but took several minutes to get around to get our order. She wasn't serving anyone but had her back turned to us while she was doing paperwork. Menu- lots of choices with breakfast such as omelette, burgers for lunch. I got the Jose Burger with fries- burger with bacon, grilled onions, Ortega chili and American cheese. It was a pretty meaty burger. Had pickles, lettuce and tomato and lathered with mayo. Had to request mustard and ketchup. Burger was impressively good. Fries were thin and fried. Kinda remind me of shoestring fries. Burger - 5 stars, fries 3 stars Niece had California burger and wife had country griddle with sunny side eggs. Overall, not the greatest location. Nothing around it because the gas station. 3 stars Also, there's 2 prices on the check. Cash and a higher price for using a credit card

My boyfriend and I came to Calipaso Winery for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway,…read moreand it has honestly been such a disappointing experience. When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.

She somehow managed the bar, table service, and kept everyone feeling taken care of despite the nonstop rush. She stayed friendly, organized, and efficient from start to finish, even as the crowd continued to grow. Excellent service can make or break an experience, and Kelly made ours. If you're lucky enough to have her as your server or bartender, you're in great hands!

We had the bone-in bbq wings and the cranberry chicken salad. There were 8 wings in the order. They were meaty and dressed with the right amount of sauce and worked perfect as a light meal. The cranberry chicken salad had a generous amount of chopped chicken and with the mixed greens, candied pecans and dried cranberries was a great balance of flavor and texture. The pacing of service was good. There were the right amount of people dining and drinking at the bar and tables to give the spot a good energy. The only downside was that they only serve wine by the glass. We would have brought our own bottle and paid the $15 corkage if we had known. Other than that, it was a great late night choice for dining and drinks.
