I was nervous, but the whole team was great. Phoebe did a great job explaining expectations which really helped to ease my nerves. The flight was seamless, beautiful sunrise views of Paso. Cameron, our pilot was experienced and a lot of fun. He had a lot to point out and involved my son in so much of the flight. I highly recommend Balloons Over Paso. I had always wanted to go on a balloon ride and was pleased to find a company in Paso Robles that I could book. Phoebe and Cameron were great, really going above and beyond! I liked that Phoebe provided pictures of us at takeoff, which we couldn't take ourselves. And Cameron was an excellent pilot, pointing out sights to us. They were both amazing! We did have to reschedule because of unusual weather, but Phoebe was very straightforward and proactive in communicating, and it wasn't really an issue. read more

I couldn't have asked for a lovelier experience. First, you should know that I am afraid of heights. This balloon ride didn't change that but in all honesty, wasn't much of a big deal either! As soon as I got use to hearing the flames being triggered above our heads, it was just a peaceful, beautiful ride over Paso. The balloon ride was also more than I expected. The views, breathtaking, I wouldn't accept less, but then the conversation with our aeronaut about the history of the balloon and as he walked through the wind currents and so forth, I was even more amazed with our adventure. We loved our hot air balloon experience. Phoebe, the owner of BOP was a pleasure to work with beginning with emails to actually meeting her at 5:30am the day of our ride. Our experienced pilot, Jeff was a kick and so very, very skilled. He glided us above the plentiful vineyards, stunning homesteads and breathtaking country. It was my second hot air balloon ride and the first for my son-in-law, son and grandson. Perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime for some but I can't wait to go up again! My choice would be to go up with Balloons Over Paso anytime. Not only was the ride outstanding, the entire experience from beginning the conversation, to unpacking and inflating the balloon, to touching earth again was without a doubt the BEST! Words can't express how much we enjoyed this flight! Phoebe was so personable when booking and the crew was amazing. Jeff, our pilot, made us feel comfortable above the ground. The ground crew, Scott, Hailey and Phoebe, made it all look so seemless and we were give. the opportunity to go inside the balloon for a family picture. I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th birthday with a trip to the Paso Robles area. While we had a terrific time wine tasting such great vineyards like ecluse, I knew my girlfriend would want to do more, so I reached out to a Balloons Over Paso, and to my surprise, Phoebe, the owner/pilot got back to me immediately. First off, Phoebe is the greatest! I planned to propose to my girlfriend of 6 years and I wouldn't have done it any differently. Phoebe made things super easy and went above and beyond for us. From tricking my girlfriend into thinking there would not be a proposal to taking pictures and videos of our entire voyage. She even made a sign for us to hold at the end for pictures and can't forget about that banana nut bread + sparkling. Jeff was our pilot and he was full of fun facts and just teaching us about the ins and outs (ups and downs?) of ballooning. He made the ride very easy and relaxing. This morning, my husband and I went on our first hot air balloon ride. It was a bucket list thing for me, and this experience was great fun! The level of communication and professionalism displayed within this company proved to me that customer service is still alive and well!! Phoebe (the owner) and her crew were well prepared to answer all of our questions and teach us about ballooning. My husband and pilot, Jeff, had a great time discussing how the ballon worked- fascinating!! We were even allowed to stand inside of the ground inflated balloon. Needless to say, we exhausted our cameras by documenting this experience. The basket of the balloon held 5 people plus the 2 fuel tanks- seemed crowded at first, but we were so taken by the sunrise and perspective at a thousand feet that we were never affected by the altitude. We rode the wind currents so it hardly felt like we were moving! We were also blessed to meet another couple, Patty and Tim, who were celebrating their 5th anniversary! Special time meeting new friends! The 50-60 minute flight was certainly one I won't forget. The serenity that you feel when you see God's creation from a different perspective will stir your soul. read more
