Unfortunately, the home didn't match the location, and several issues made our stay less comfortable than expected. It was disappointing. What We Loved * Unbeatable beachfront location * Gorgeous ocean views from the living area and outdoor space * Easy access to the sand and beautiful sunsets Where the Home Falls Short * Beds are extremely high -- so tall that we needed a step stool to get on and off. * Bathrooms are tiny, barely larger than an airplane lavatory. It's difficult to move without bumping into something. * Oversized furniture makes the small rooms feel even more cramped. * Overall cluttered feel throughout the home. * Carpets hold a lot of dust, and we found ourselves sneezing more than usual. * No dishwasher, yet oddly there are two microwaves. * Outdoor furniture is in poor condition, with many pieces filthy & unusable. * Wood‑burning fire pit creates ash that blows everywhere, making it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. * Some areas were not cleaned properly upon arrival. To their credit, the cleaning crew did return to address those spots after we reported them. * No screens on any windows or doors, which became a real issue during a heat wave. We opened windows in the cooler mornings and evenings, and insects poured in. * We even had to vacuum insects off windows that don't open, and some windows were missing hinges entirely. * Laundry was an ordeal -- when the washing machine ran, the pipes vibrated violently & loudly inside the walls. * Linens were full of lint, and even after washing them, the pillowcases (which were padded) continued to shed. Overall The location and view are undeniably amazing, but the home itself needs significant updates, repairs, and a more thoughtful approach to cleanliness and comfort. With some attention and investment, this could be a fantastic rental -- but in its current state, it fell short of expectations.

When we walked to the beach we saw 8 people riding horses. Girls found so many sand dollars and interesting rocks. The house was very comfortable with large dining table, the kitchen was smaller but worked very well. Tv's in the family room, fireplace, living room had couch, chairs, another small table and chairs for playing games or puzzles that are there in abundance. So to the rental company 1. Found them on Craigslist 2 went to website 3 filled out information and only gave a 50.00 deposit. Due to short time I secured it 2 days before arrival I called and discussed what needed to be done. 4 arrived paid got keys never needed to talk to them till I left. This place was warm, comfortable, spacious, very clean!! This home reminds me that grandma met Jesus at the beach. What a blessing! You couldn't ask for a better location. The house is cute, clean and cozy and has all the amenities you'll need for a beachside BBQ or holiday feast. On the 4th of July you can even see the fireworks in Morro Bay to the south AND in Cayucos to the north. The surf's pretty good too. Panoramic ocean views from both the family room and the master bedroom will take your breath away. The LoJacono's are really kind, professional and great to work with.

We looked past several issues because we valued the long-term relationship. There were occasions when we arrived to find the house hadn't been cleaned properly, and one time, the bed sheets hadn't even been changed from the previous guest. We looked past the human error kept coming back because we believed in being reliable, low-maintenance customers. That loyalty was not returned. We booked our June 2026 (4th year in a row) stay back in September 2025, which is nearly nine months in advance. Even though we cancelled in December, giving them six full months to re-book a prime summer week, management hid behind the fine print to keep our deposit. They claimed they were "losing revenue," but since we were legacy renters with a 10% discount, they will be able to make more money by re-booking our dates at full price while keeping our deposit. Further, we had finished our stay in June 2025, which gave them time to book in what claimed was their most important booking period, the summer months. I'm not looking for a handout and rarely post negative reviews, and I believe in the sanctity of a contract. However, I also believe in the sanctity of a business relationship. As a "good actor" who provided this company with guaranteed capital nearly a year in advance for multiple years, I expected a level of mutual respect. It's a shame to see a company prioritize a short-term cash grab over years of consistent business. We weren't looking for a handout; we were looking for a shred of loyalty we thought we earned by being easy, reliable customers for years. They've made it clear that to them, a multi-year relationship is just another transaction. If you're looking for a company that values people over paperwork then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Upon arrival, the house was not ready at check-in; the cleaning staff remained for about 20 minutes past the scheduled time, and the floors were still wet and slippery from mopping. It's unfortunate that the host's review claimed we left the property messy, which is completely untrue. I personally hand-washed all dishes that did not fit in the dishwasher and started it before leaving, exactly as their checkout instructions stated. All trash was also properly taken out. We followed every listed checkout step and treated the property respectfully. It was also frustrating to be told our booking was an "exception" because we had two toddlers under age two, even though our reservation clearly reflected our group size within the listed and filtered limit. Beautiful home, but the inaccurate review and poor costumer service left a disappointing impression.
