My family and I have been return renters with Beach-N-Bay Getaways for years, but we will not be back. In the past, we tried to be the best renters possible. We looked past several issues because we valued the long-term relationship. There were occasions when we arrived to find the house hadn't been cleaned properly, and one time, the bed sheets hadn't even been changed from the previous guest. We looked past the human error kept coming back because we believed in being reliable, low-maintenance customers. That loyalty was not returned. We booked our June 2026 (4th year in a row) stay back in September 2025, which is nearly nine months in advance. Even though we cancelled in December, giving them six full months to re-book a prime summer week, management hid behind the fine print to keep our deposit. They claimed they were "losing revenue," but since we were legacy renters with a 10% discount, they will be able to make more money by re-booking our dates at full price while keeping our deposit. Further, we had finished our stay in June 2025, which gave them time to book in what claimed was their most important booking period, the summer months. I'm not looking for a handout and rarely post negative reviews, and I believe in the sanctity of a contract. However, I also believe in the sanctity of a business relationship. As a "good actor" who provided this company with guaranteed capital nearly a year in advance for multiple years, I expected a level of mutual respect. It's a shame to see a company prioritize a short-term cash grab over years of consistent business. We weren't looking for a handout; we were looking for a shred of loyalty we thought we earned by being easy, reliable customers for years. They've made it clear that to them, a multi-year relationship is just another transaction. If you're looking for a company that values people over paperwork then I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

While the home itself was lovely and in a great location, our experience with this rental company/host was disappointing. Upon arrival, the house was not ready at check-in; the cleaning staff remained for about 20 minutes past the scheduled time, and the floors were still wet and slippery from mopping. It's unfortunate that the host's review claimed we left the property messy, which is completely untrue. I personally hand-washed all dishes that did not fit in the dishwasher and started it before leaving, exactly as their checkout instructions stated. All trash was also properly taken out. We followed every listed checkout step and treated the property respectfully. It was also frustrating to be told our booking was an "exception" because we had two toddlers under age two, even though our reservation clearly reflected our group size within the listed and filtered limit. Beautiful home, but the inaccurate review and poor costumer service left a disappointing impression. read more

We booked a 4 day stay at a house in downtown Morro bay through Beach-N-Bay for our family of 4 that includes young children. We initially engaged with them on AirBnB but they offered a discount to book directly and we took them up on it. First off I want to say that they place we booked was a lovely updated beach bungalow not too far from the boardwalk area. No issues there. Here is what we didn't like. They only gave us a couple of rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. Well with young children these don't last very long and we ran out after a couple of days. I rang up the service desk and was told that if we wanted more we needed to buy them. We were all shocked by this. Even Motel 6 will give you more TP if you ask. read more

I would give a ZERO If I had the option. So if you were to have someone at 1 o'clock in the morning set off fireworks in a quiet neighborhood and you call Beach N Bay Getaways, you get Megan who says well I'm not the judgment person or law and even after showing clear video of people setting off fireworks not just at 1 o'clock in the morning but also 2 o'clock in the morning waking people who actually live here and pay rent I've been here for over 10 years and not an Airbnb or who's just staying a few nights from somewhere else and has no respect. We had to call the police and make a report so that they could also contact Beach N Bay Getaways saying "Hey you Need to make sure that you manage your property because it clearly shows in the video that they're setting off fireworks right in front of your airbnb which is clearly in the video next door to the residents home " it's sad to say because Megan said that she wasn't the judgment /law , so she couldn't do anything which also meant that she couldn't even manage the property that they are renting out to Airbnb and the people obviously denied it because they didn't want to pay a $1000 fine for setting off illegal fireworks what the officer confirmed they were. read more

Hello, I finished renting a home on main street in Morro Bay for a short vacation . The home was immaculate, decorated well and had everything you could need accept for shampoo/conditioner . They were very honest and answered every question I had before my stay . I plan to go thru them again. The homes are nice inside , so be kind . Thank-you again. Looking forward to renting a beach house in the summer . I was hesitant to rent a home because of all the nasty reviews . You always have to remember 2 sides to every story!!!! read more

This was our second visit to La roche at 575 embarcadero dr and it was as fabulous as the first stay. The views are just unbelievable! There are two large bathrooms and very comfy king bed, a washer dryer, a full kitchen and living room, a fireplace, free coffee, a parking spot and it's dog friendly. What more could you ask fir. The location is perfect!! Easy walk to all morro bay has to offer. We will definitely be back!!! read more

This was our 3rd time staying at one of the Bay Front condos in Morro Bay managed by Beach N Bay Getaways. Every time we have been very impressed with the cleanliness of the condo and how well stocked it is. The views are fantastic with a balcony right above the harbor. The bed was VERY comfortable and it was very quiet, never even heard the people staying in the adjoining condo. We really like the ability to park our vehicle in a designated private garage right below the condo. The staff of Beach N Bay getaways is always very helpful and they reply to questions promptly. Already looking forward to our next stay. read more

The home we rented was not cleaned well and smelled horrible. After I called they sent someone out to find dead rats to be removed. Hours after the home still smelled horrible. When I asked about a credit I was told no, no way in a really rude way. I was told they can offer 15% off my next stay within a year. Funny to think that a business would suggest to stay again when you are unhappy. The smell lingered for days and we ended up leaving early. No one answers the office phones even during open hours. Overall poor service, home was older then phots represent and would never book again. read more

Motel 6 Customer Service With the pictures they showed and the prices I was going to pay, I felt that I would have an experience like I would be staying at the Four Seasons, but I was treated like I was going to a Motel 6. I made my reservation on Jan 8. On Jan 9, Jan 15, and Jan 18, I received HARASSING phone calls demanding I have to disclose personal information like my home mailing address. It was demanded that I have to call them back for several other questions they have to ask. In writing, when I pressed for a reason as to why, I was given "the owners require this information." Is this even a LEGAL reason? How is that even LOGICAL? And what kind of other questions do they need to ask? And why do they need to ask these questions? And why didn't they disclose in their ad that they demand such personal information? And why do they need this information RIGHT NOW? I don't check-in until late July. I was going to pay nearly $1000 for a two-night stay, but I only received $30 back from my deposit. This refund of the housekeeping fee is what they consider "goodwill gesture". What a joke for such a serious markup. Are the sheets actually even cleaned and replaced for new vacationers at that price for housekeeping? If Beach-N-Bay feels this is a harsh critique, they can stuff it with their ludicrous policy. Thankfully Morro Bay is a very touristy area. I'll take my splurge elsewhere. read more

We reserved two seperate vacation rentals with this company, only to have them call me back to cancel our reservatiins because of errors they made. The 1st was a house that we found on VRBO that was managed by this company. After confirming our reservation for 2 nights they called me back to let me know there had been an error on their part and the house was supposed to be a 5 day minimum stay. The VRBO listing was wrong. The 2nd time we emailed them and asked if we could park a small camping trailer in the driveway for some of our guests. They wrote back and said it wouldn't be a problem. After confirming our reservation they called me back to let me know there had been an error on their part again and that the camping trailer should have never been approved. Needless to say, we are very frustrated with this company and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I was very dissapointed about the property management company owner threatening to call sherrif if we didnt check out on time. Windows were dirty which blurred view and horrible smell from under sink. I had received an email with a subject line stating early check in or check out approved. But when I called on the day of check out to confirm, they responded by saying my request is denied. My wife was upset because we were under the impression we could check out late. Management company was condescending and unapologetic. The owner of the management company even threatened to call sherrif and charge for extra night. We had an hour to rush and pack everthing away. Not a great way to end our 3 year old sons first overnight stay to the beach. read more

Bad experience on Airbnb with these guys. Wish I chose another company because of their bad communication. We requested a late checkout, which they agreed to, then retracted and got mad at us for still checking out when they arrived to clean. It's not a big deal, and I understand turnarounds move fast, but they really lost their cool over this, and ruined our warm feelings we had about the home rental. We are property owners who formerly used URelax as a property manager for our vacation rental in Morro Bay. Through our experience, we have come to know that they do not provide the excellent service they claim. The cleaning of the house was substandard and their response to the most egregious of these issues was to drop us suddenly as a client. Based on just that experience alone, we are disgusted that we and our guests were subjected to the substandard cleaning practices. To that point, we believed our relationship with them was a good one and had no indication that they were anything other than happy with our home and with us. Even after asking for a reason why we were being cancelled, we were never provided an answer. We have moved to another company and are happy there; and, up until this recent development, we highly recommended their service. Turns out, now that we have moved on, there were issues reported to them that we were never privy to. While we have learned a valuable lesson in trust, we are very upset to learn that guests in our home were not provided with the cleanliness they deserved nor the best in customer service from our property manager. read more

Very smooth reservation process. No problems and because we had to be somewhere the afternoon we checked in, they were flexible with the time. Had a minor problem with a water faucet and when I called to just report it, they had somebody out there within hours. The property was absolutely beautiful. They are very specific with the instructions and rules but that is what keeps it looking so nice. I'll definitely use them again. read more
