When I found out I had termites, I freaked out! I wanted to find someone with good reviews and quick service. I ended up having three different companies come out to give me quotes. Of course, I went with Kevin... let me tell you why. First of all, Kevin was super informative and genuinely nice. He explained the whole process, calmed my nerves and told me about his business and his track record. He quoted me more than one company, but less than another and explained why. While it was initially hard to get a hold of him, he does get back to you and he's worth the wait. After all, he runs his own business and he's just one guy. So Saturday's project of removing and replacing the siding on the house came to a grinding halt when I uncovered termites. I called virtually every termite/pest control company in Austin and couldn't get a single person on the line...even the ones who were "open" for business. Kevin is not only a grade A professional but legitimately one of the nicest fellows you will ever meet. He has worked with my family for years and is always dependable, greets everyone of us by our first names, and always smiling. He surprises me every time with how much he remembers about our life's and the conversations we have had. He is like the Andy Griffith of pest control. And he doesn't try to screw you either. We found bed bugs in our apartment and he was the first person I called. The apartment complex wanted to use someone else who was going to charge me a few thousand dollars for a super complicated treatment. I needed to take care of the problem myself before the complex sent their own professional over. When I told Kevin what was going on he told me about this $25 dollar bottle of treatment that should fix the problem (I caught them pretty early before they had a chance to spread, not sure if this would work if they had gotten much worse). Since it was kind of time sensitive he let me meet him at a local restaraunt and came out during the middle of dinner with his family to give me the bottle and explain how to use it. This was a few hours after I called him. Anyway, it worked. He could have charged me thousands but instead he saved me thousands. Bugs are never fun but Kevin is the only person you want to take care of them for you. I had been dealing with rats in the attic for two years and was very concerned after being "ripped off" by two other companies. The great YELP reviews encouraged me to give him a call. Kevin was prompt, efficient and reasonable. I had some gaping holes in my roof that neither of the other extermination companies had noted. (Gee, wonder why the rats kept coming back!) He was willing to do the repairs but was flexible in working with my HOA to coordinate getting the roof fixed and the traps set within a reasonable amount of time. If you are looking for a sign, here it is. Call Kevin at A Done Right Pest Control! After dealing with two rodent companies that were ineffective and unprofessional I found ADRPC on Yelp. After reading all the wonderful reviews I called him up and Kevin was at my house the next morning, on time and fully prepared to trap rats and seal the property. He did a full inspection of the inside and outside of the house and instead of leaving to get an estimate and coming back the next day (like most larger companies do), he started setting traps and sealing holes right then. He sealed the holes with hardware cloth (small gauge chicken wire) instead of the cheap foam (other companies had used in the past) that can be chewed through and placed traps. A few days later, one of the traps went off so I called Kevin to let him know. He was at my house WITHIN THE HOUR to remove the body and reset the trap. Just a wonderful person that takes care of his customers. He knows that no one wants to deal with bugs or rodents so he does his job right the first time and doesn't take any shortcuts. read more

He was extremely thorough and determined in finding the source of our problem and sure enough, he discovered how they were getting into our building. I have known Kevin Riley for years, as he used to service my parents' house years ago with ABC Pest Control. When I bought a house recently, I had Terminix come out and do a brief inspection/quote. Needless to say, I was not impressed and cancelled what I had signed up for after 2 hours! Later on, my dad told me that Kevin had started his own business a while back and I was immediately interested in having him come out. So I got a hold of him and he was prompt in getting back to me and relating how he knew my dad, etc. He came out the next week and truly portrayed how a business should be run. I found Kevin here on yelp, for his 5 star reviews. And signed up with him.. Sprayed my house few times. Little expensive side but its ok. Last time our schedule was tight, he said he will be at my house at 8:00 and start spraying outside, . I told him that I had to leave no later than 9:30 since I work outside of town. There was no Kevin at 8.. at exactly 8:55 he texted me saying he forgot his phone at home and he needed to go back, it would take him another 20 minutes to get back to me. I told him that I have to leave at 9:30 so lets reschedule. He said no problem and I never heard from him again. Now here is the deal. I work in the service industry too.. If you can't make it, no need to make up stuff.. His story doesn't even add up. you're supposed to be here at 8 and you had to go back to get your phone at 8:55 ?? then its gonna take you another 20 minutes?? You do the math.. :) You overslept, you had a tough night whatever ITS OK.. just make it up and re-schedule that would be nice thing to do. but he didn't..
