They made my comforter set, two knit blankets, and sheets smell fresh and new again! Pretty remarkable because cat urine can be potent and irreversible, but my items are back to normal again! Horrible quality - dropped off several high end table cloths that we use for trade shows. Came back more wrinkled than when I took them in. They're so bad that I now have to take them to a different cleaner to try and get the wrinkles out. And, the price is double what I normally pay. Won't be using them again. read more

Too expensive! I can go to a less expensive cleaners and pay no more than 1/3 of the prices they charge. Update: January 16, 2012. The owner contacted me within a few days of my original posting. He asked if there was anything he could do to earn my business and also explained the reason for their prices....using quality products, hiring competent/legal staff/ etc. I stand by my original post that they are too expensive for my day to day dry cleaning, but did tell him that if I had something of large value (i.e wedding dress/prom dress etc) I would consider using them again. He did offer me a refund on my purchase, but I refused because I did receive a service and had no problem when the end result. read more

I went back to A Cleaner World for the first time since the manager, Tim Rolle, kindly stopped by my house to personally apologize and refund my most recent dry cleaning bill. Tim was there, recognized me by name, and informed me that everything that I was dropping off tonight would be dry cleaned for free (and I dropped off 19 dress shirts, a suit, and a pair of dress pants!). I never leave reviews anywhere, but felt this place deserved commendation. My girlfriend had some tough bbq stains on an expensive silk dress she borrowed. The stains didn't come entirely out when we returned, and when she pointed it out the staff was so nice and cleaned it again. They made the order free of charge and made the dress look brand new. I live in Boston and took my wife's almost-new white blazer to our local cleaners. It came back with a stain on the front. When I took it back, they offered to reimburse me for the blazer, but said there wasn't anything they could do. My wife had looked for a white blazer in her petite size for a few years, so we didn't want the money, we wanted the blazer! I looked online for cleaners that specialized in stain and spot removal, and found A Cleaner World in Apex, NC. I called and they put me in touch with their resident expert - Tim. He impressed me with his knowledge and confidence, so I mailed the blazer. Tim miraculously removed the stain. There is no trace of it left. Tim was helpful and courteous through the whole process. We've had very few problems with A Cleaner World. Consistently good results and perfectly friendly folks. My bill always seems high; I've been dragging my feet but the time has probably come to shop around for a place closer to my budget. Their base prices are online. They do currently have a cost-saving option in lieu of coupons, where you can save on 1-2 types of clothing at a time on 1 day of the week. If you're serious about budgeting, by choice or necessity, this means near weekly Wednesday night visits to the dry cleaner, taking all your dress shirts one week, sweaters the next week, bedding the next, etc. Maybe this works for people who live very close by or have large families? Again, ACW does good work and I consider it a low-risk cleaner. I've no doubt there are quality and labor reasons for their prices. Just a heads up that if dry-cleaning costs feel like a pinch, like if you have to dry-clean for work but are on a middling income level, this might not be the place for you. read more

Not realizing that the Pandemic delivery schedule didn't include Saturdays right now, I arrived at our Chapel Hill location to discover my son's overnight drop off order wasn't in-house. I panicked because he needed the clothes for a wedding in a few hours (and had come from Massachusetts so he had no backup!). A Cleaner World acted promptly and calmly (unlike my behavior!). The manager Tim was immediately reached by phone (on his day off!), and went in to the plant himself to ensure the suit and shirt were cleaned and ready within 45 minutes. I drove there to make the best of the little time- he handed it to me himself (did I mention that it was his day off???) and asked, "Why did you ask for the shirt to be folded if he's wearing it to a wedding do you want me to press it?" Oh my gosh! Talk about top notch handling!!! I agreed and back in he went and came out with a pressed shirt in ten minutes. Outstanding customer service keeps me coming back! I've been a customer here off an on for over 7 years including a period where i tried other cleaners who seemed cheaper at first but seemed to be much better at returning my clothes with fewer buttons, less stitches, and poorer service. I'll admit there have been a few mistakes along the way, but the manager, Tim, has always been responsive and fair in handling them graciously. Tonight, I stopped by to pick up my clothes not realizing it was already 15 minutes past closing. All the lights were out and there was nobody up front as I read the business hours on the window and started to drive off. Next thing I know, Tim and the young man who had been closing up had unlocked the front door and were waiving me down to see if they could help me. The staff were nice and helpful to me during my visit but looked very tired which i think is partly because of the manager, as the lady was helping get my order complete the manager came out all crazy looking talking about is everything ok and what's the problem. A Cleaner World No. 207 on Ten Ten in Apex has made my world a better world! We've been taking our dry cleaning there since moving to the area in 2011, and have always been satisfied by their service. However, Mr. Rolle the General Manager has gone above and beyond and provided exceptional service several times for our family having saved favorite items from horrible stains and precious heirlooms from further deterioration. Mr. Rolle personally assisted us and took the initiative and care to save our young daughters favorite coat after it went through the dryer with 3 crayons in the pocket. The coat was so badly stained we thought no dry cleaner would be willing to take on the task and so it was only after looking high and low for a replacement, that we humbly asked Mr. Rolle for help. We remain grateful for his professionalism, expertise, and the customer care he gave us as our daughter will be wearing the coat again this fall, two years on since the crayon incident. Since then we have taken precious hand-embroidered family heirlooms to him to restore and preserve. His expertise and care continue to show as he takes the time to explain the risks and the approach he'll use to minimize the risks and obtain the best results. It clearly comes through that he knows his field and cares for his customers. I pulled out a load of laundry only to find blue detergent stains on almost every piece! I was so upset and it was late so I tried to soak them in a white vinegar and water mixture. With no success, I called the manager, Timothy and he told me not worry and to bring in all the pieces. He is in the process of removing each stain by hand and I could not be more appreciative! Don't waste your time or money on this place. Over priced because they say they are eco-friendly I went to a dry cleaners in Dallas that was and never charged 7 bucks a shirt! I brought in 3 cotton tops, 1 pairs of shorts, 3 dresses and they tried to charge me 65 dollars!!! That is highway robbery if I ever knew it!!! They also ruined an expensive dress not paying attention to the hardware that was on the dress completely tearing two of the things off and discoloring the others. I have gotten this dress dry cleaned before and no place has not paid attention like that. Don't waste your money!!!! read more

Today at 9 AM on Saturday, I walked into A Cleaner World in a panic thinking I had ruined a brand new pair of slacks when I botched the hem using heat'n'bond. The glue seeped out to the right side of the fabric. As soon as I walked through the doors, the staff seeing my worry offered me quick attention and care. The general manager, Timothy Jay Rolle, assured me that he would personally work on the stain and do all he could to remove the glue. As promised, he worked on the pants, and in a few hours finishing earlier than promised, he removed the stain completely! When I picked up the slacks, the staff was thrilled for me because, they knew I had no hope and yet the slacks were brought back to new!!
