This was not my first time there. I was there a couple of months ago and the food and service was good. Was there over Memorial Day weekend. The person behind the counter taking food order was stuffing his face and food was falling out of his mouth. This is not ok to serve customers. The other 2 people behind the counter must have been seligman's finest losers. I didn't order any food as the employees were gross and disgusting. read more

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries. The cheese curds were awesome! Wish it was a standalone restaurant but still a great experience. The rootbeer is definitely made with cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. read more

We stopped in Seligman, AZ on our way to the Grand Canyon. Really glad we chose to stop at the A&W Root Beer! Located within the c-Store / gas station, this is a full service restaurant complete with counter seating in addition to the tables. The food really hit the spot. Burgers, fried chicken fingers and of course milkshakes and root beer floats! The staff were all very nice and the restaurant was clean. Definitely worth stopping! read more

Wow!! Simply wow! We just had the most fantastic experience here. Dave and the rest of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. While we waited for our order some of the staff would make small talk with us. The conversation was light and fun but the best part was how playful they were with our 3 year old. This made the wait feel short and sweet. What was even cooler was watching the cook hand bread the chicken! I had no idea they did that and oh man was it delicious! Everything was hot and fresh and perfectly equipped with its complimenting sauces. 10/10 I recommend this location. I've never thought of A&W as "good" beyond their floats but this location is a game changer. So delicious!! Shoutout again the staff here! They go above and beyond with their superior level of customer service especially Dave and the other "very tall" gentleman. read more

I've never tried AW before and I was not wrong. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Although the customer service was ok, the food is just not the best. Not sure if it's the place or just the franchise. The burger tastes blend and the fries were not crispy compared to other burger franchises. The fries taste a bit undercook. I think I'll stick to other burger joints. read more

Food was fresh and the staff were friendly! They have a seating area inside to eat. Be careful with the souvenirs, though. They can get you.

Stopped for a root beer float and got to try the tastiest cheese curds ever!!! This rave review is for the awesome customer service at the counter! This establishment is a cornerstone of my childhood. But this franchise in particular is always slow every time I stop through. Does it really take 20+ minutes for a simple order? I don't quite understand the issue when there's like 5 workers available. Other than that the food is okay. read more

We came in here for shakes because my brother read somewhere that this was a "must stop" on Route 66. There was already a line, but the nine of us made it a huge crowd. The girls that worked there were friendly, got us all of our food in a reasonable amount of time (I just had ice cream, but some of us had burgers), and joked around with us when she had a minute. The seating area is small - - I think that if there would have been nine more of us, we could have taken the place over!! But, they had good food, good service, it was a good place to stop, and the bathrooms were generally clean. We would definitely stop again. read more

I LOVE A&W. You can't help but to feel nostalgic when you walk in. This particular one is inside a gas station which is usually a bad sign. In this case it's till great. The folks working here are super friendly and make some great food. We make the trip in from Flagstaff to eat here every few months and have always been happy with the food and service. read more

Used to eat here quite often. After not coming here for a couple years we popped in for a burger and root beer. When we received our food we sat down to enjoy. We unwrapped our burgers we found our LITTLE surprise. The "papa burger" was about the same size as a Whitecastle slid r, but at the price of real hamburger. Went to the counter and explained that I had ordered the adult size. She shrugged and said something about keeping them the same price. It's inside a convenience store/gift shop we stopped on the way to the Grand Canyon. Like all A&W, you need to get a signature root beer float. I ordered a Conney Dog which was prepared to order. What impressed me about this location was the friendly staff. Part of my friends order was left out and they offered full refund and free food. The float and Conney Dog were great and the staff very friendly. A nice fast food stop. read more

Stop here occasionally when traveling to Bullhead City or Las Vegas. Friendly and talkative staff, always friendly and act like they know me, funny I didn't think I came here that often. Burgers are good, onion rings decent, Root beer is always were it is at! My favorite since I was a little kid. How can Seligman have an A & W, but the Prescott area cannot have one!?! read more

Went around 12:30 or 1 pm on a Thursday. The hamburger #2 was just ok, reminded us of a McDonalds plain cheeseburger. Fries/onion rings were great along with the root beet float. When we arrived we found a booth that we had to clean ourselves. While they were polite when taking our order, the 4 or 5 employees working did nothing outside of taking orders, not one of them cleaned ANY tables or wiped the drink machine area at all and most tables were empty in the 30-45 minutes that we were there. The employees were just gabbing with each other and standing around doing nothing. This place needs a serious manager who cares about looks and cleanliness!!!!!!!!! read more

I joked with the two young men at the counter about the iced mugs of A&W which were a nickel in SoCal (50 years ago), and he produced a mug from the freezer and we had floats.
