two sinks in a public restroom

I went here on Saturday for a breakfast. We thought this was the cleanest A&W with plenty of tables. We wanted to get breakfast without knowing they serve burger menu in the morning. They got hand washing station and condiment section including hot sauce. I know A&W used to give out Sriracha sauce many years back. This location was clean and quiet to dine in. I was so excited to use a coupon for 2 Teen Burger Combos for $15.99. We got frosted mugs for our drinks. Burgers and fries were freshly delivered by staff. They got our orders correctly without salt on the fries. Our food tasted so good with hot sauce. Besides we had no trouble finding our table on Saturday morning. I love A&W burgers as usual. This location was pretty good for freshness and cleanliness.

Didn't know there was a 24h A&W here. Looks like there's also a Tim Hortons but I digress. Parking is plentiful in the strip mall lot, though I can imaigine this place filling up during business hours. Seating area is a bit on the smaller side. There are maybe 20 seats in the place. The coffee I had was pretty tasty. So were the onion rings.

    Cute door handles

I recently found out this A&W is 24 hours. I signed up for the coffee sipscription trial for March 2021 so I have been coming here often to get my coffee. It is convenient if you drive as parking is easily available. The app for mobile order is quite wonky as I could be right there and the app would read my location as a distance away. So it would be best to place order on app and go in to check if they received the order. The staff said there is usually a delay. Lovely staff here. Friendly. Coffee is usual. I do want to commend the cleanliness of the place. Both dining room and washroom. With covid, I was more particular about it. I was hesitant about using public washrooms and being a 24 hours place, I was prepared for a not so clean washroom. I was surprised it was not trashy like other 24 hours places and I super like the buttons to lock and unlock the door. There are two sinks in the common areas to wash your hands without going to the washrooms. Awesome! There are 2 tables for dining in with a few tables outside. I guess this is pretty much a place where people just stop by to grab and go. I think this could be my usual place now since it is 24 hours. The door handles are cute too.

    MS Burger Day

A&W is typically solid fast food.. this location, sometimes they even open the door for you like you're at a 5 star restaurant. Food is always good and with MS in my immediate family, I love that they're such big advocates for fundraising. I don't eat a lot of fast food but I will always come for MS day and I love that they recently brought back the whistle dog, even for a limited time. Higher quality than most fast food and this location does the extra to set themselves apart and above the rest :)

Promotional truffle Mama burger combo with an upgrade to onion rings. Added an extra regular Buddy burger

My neighbour and friend told me about this nearby A&W location near our new homes and while there's no drive through, it's still open 24/7. After working a double shift I needed some food fast and decided to try it out. Upon entering I noticed there was a big sign facing outside about a promotion burger but couldn't see the details well as it was dark out. I asked the cashier about the promotion and she had no idea what poster was up or what promotion they had. After some back and forth, and her asking a colleague that also didn't know, she ran outside to check. It was a promotion on their new truffle burger for $3.50 so decided to give it a try. I asked if it would be cheaper ordering a combo, but upgrading my fries to onion rings, rather than purchase all items separately and the cashier said "yeah" but I saw her lunch in all 3 items in separately instead of a combo with an onion ring upgrade. The staff doesn't seem to know much on what's going on around here but at least they tried to be nice. Truffle burger was actually a truffle sauce burger, which was a little misleading. The sauce tasted nice but it wouldn't be something I would spend more than $3 on so trying it out with the promotional price was perfect. The onion rings are as good as ever and you gotta love A&W pushing the fast food industry towards serving better quality of meats (i.e. hormone and antibiotic free) plus a beyond meat burger at somewhat reasonable prices. Staff seemed a bit lost but other than that I will probably come back but not for awhile as I rarely ever eat fast food.

Hand washing station near the condiments! This makes me so happy :)

I don't often write reviews for fast food places, but this location is top shelf. The Kingsway a&w can never get it's act together, I've waited ten minutes at the speaker to order then just left. So I was excited to see a new location near me open up! Coupons out right now, so two meals for 12.99! Bonus, the coupon can be I used 4 times. The staff here are lovely, genuine and hard working. They brought our meals to us, offered refills, checked our meals were good, told us not to clear our plates, then offered us root beer lollipops! I saw them hold Open doors for people leavIIng with hands full of bags/ skip the dishes drivers. Honestly I wish this location a lot of success, they're passionate! I was thrilled to see these hand washing stations out in the condiment area, need these everywhere!

Located beside Hell Crust (former Fresh Slice) underneath Cineplex in Metrotown…read more Plenty of parking as it is inside the mall - has about 5 tables from what I can recall. You can hear the music from the mall , however i don't believe they had any of their own tunes playing. You can easily have a conversation here. However, because of the small seating/eating area, you will sometimes have other customers staring you down to leave so they can take your table. It's a busy mall I get it, but please don't be the person staring others down. Service was okay, nothing special, they greet you and you order , followed by waiting for them to call your order number. Ordered the Cowboy - with the fries and drink add on to make it a combo - and found it to be on the pricier end of things. After taxes and "Tip" it was nearly $25. Some may say that is average , it's in the mall , rising costs and such, which I understand. But I just didn't feel like the portion or quality measured up. Fries were okay , tasted like Kirkland Costco fries - nice crisp - however seasoned poorly as some pieces were way to salty , while others just tasted like a plain potato. The cowboy mentioned crispy onions - did not taste any of that - Spicy BBQ sauce was on the sweeter side. - the bun was pretty dry - and the fillings were lifted , and wasn't actually enough to fill the entire sandwich. Can of mountain dew - well it was a canned drink so it was fine. As there is tons of other food options in the mall - i will unlikely visit this one again. Hope everyone else has a better experience , if you decide to give it a go.

My order: -Japanese Style Cheesesteak: my personal favourite - juicy sautéed mushrooms & onions, aged cheddar, wasabi mayo and of course premium ribeye steak slices. It's saucy, and the cheese blend enhances the flavour. -Koagie (Korean Hoagie): Kimchi was good (not too sour or spicy), so I could comfortably eat it. -New Yorker: the classic if you don't want to venture away from a "normal Philly cheesesteak" - topped with fresh tomatoes and lettuce Overall, the hoagie roll was soft on the inside, and a good chewy texture on the outside. I reheated mines in the microwave, and it still tasted good several hours later. These cheeseteaks are more saucy than the traditional cheesesteaks, which I personally enjoyed as every bite was filled with flavour. Very filling - best to share if you want to try different flavours. I also really liked their assortment of cheeses (no fake Cheez-Whiz stuff, sorry if you like that though), I think they use aged cheddar, provolone, and some others in a cheese blend. They definitely don't cheap out, and use a generous portion of tender/sliced prime rib steak. All cheesesteaks are made-to-order on a grill when you place your order. -Onion Rings: skinny-style -Deep Fried Pickles: good thick cut of pickles to breading ratio -ACC Fries (Garlic Butter & Parmesan): classic thick cut fries with a very "potato-y" flavour -White Chocolate Blueberry Milkshake: quite sweet, definitely for people that have a sweet tooth Also, I definitely have to mention the house-made sauces, they're so good for dipping the onion rings, pickles, and fries (cheesesteaks were saucy enough, so I didn't need it there). My personal favourites were the roasted garlic aioli, smoke Chipotle BBQ (not to overpowering or salty), and mustard (real mustard seeds).

The location looks pretty shiny and new, like the rest of the food court. Staff were friendly. A&W has some pretty awesome (but expensive) onion rings. These are best had as part of a burger combo, as they are quite expensive when ordered separately. The Teen Burger I had was fresh, and the bacon was nice and crisp. They now have this whole hormone-free campaign going on. Not sure how effective it is, but my burger tasted pretty much the same as years past.

Looking up when you get…read morehere they have the statues of the 'burger family' and if you just want a burger from them, you can either eat here, or walk over to Station Square, on this day, we decided to come here. I'm always more fond of the self location ones more than the food court, and one of the reasons is how the burger comes out. We ordered two 'Teen' burgers, with fries, and when I opened the bagged package (for those of you who have never had a burger from A&W they wrap their burgers in a bag!!) the burger looked like someone was playing Cooking Mama on 'MAX' difficulty, and needed to just put the right pieces in the right place to build a burger. The burger pattie was almost half way off the bun, with the bacon sliding to the other side, and the top of the bun was barely sitting on this whole display of burger art. I should not have to re-position burger parts when coming to a fast-food joint! The fries came out fresh from the oil, as they were piping hot, something that always seems to be the case at A&W, and I will give them props for that. As I said, it's alright if you need the quick fix, but for me, I'd still rather go to their restaurant locations.
