Had never been to a Mary Brown's but decided to stop by after seeing the promotion for the Batter's Box on TV during a Jays game. Six pieces of chicken, two biscuits, wedges, gravy and a sweet habanero sauce...advertised for $19.99. That is a lot of food. Stopped by this location just before noon mid week for take out. This location is relatively new and very clean which is always a plus. Ordered the Batter's Box and the attendant said the chicken would be 2 minutes. 20 minutes later, they completed the order. We got home and opened the box to see that there was no sweet habanero sauce. I called the store and was advised it was the customers responsibility to request the sauce. Whaaat? It is part of the promotion (and on the photos) and at no point did the person taking my order mention anything about this. The chicken was actually good as were the biscuits. Would have been nice to try the sweet habanero sauce. And this location charged $22.99 for the Batter's Box promotion. It was not a positive food experience and with customer service like this, I have no plans to return.

my friend recommend it. I ordered CHICKEN burger . but smell and taste was little be strange so check the inside of CHICKEN and it was Really pink so I asked staff However They said it's not raw cooked. but They offer me new sandwich. Tried this today (international fried chicken day) and it wasn't bad but I've had better. For 4.99 plus wedges it was a good deal. I don't think I be happy to pay more than that. The service was good. The staff are friendly. We ordered the spicy chicken but I think they only put a spicy powder on it to make it spicy. Taste was ok. The chicken doesn't really taste deep fried - more like air fried. The wedges were bland and dry. Overall I'm glad I tried it today but not sure I would pay regular price for this chicken in the future.

I enjoyed the $9.99+tax meal, chicken tasted fresh and the potatoes were truly local. Great thing was all items were not chemical-felt at all. I think they were on the healthier side of fast food practices - using fresh oil, less hormones grown chicken and fresh local potatoes. The cashier was very friendly to every customers and I felt her enthusiasm to give the best service. There were tables and chairs great for 4 people maximum each.

I've been here a couple of times now and I think it's pretty good. I ordered off their app both times. The first time I ordered half and half chicken and the hot was really spicy. Dunno if it's supposed to be like that or if it was extra spicy that day. The next time I just ordered regular. The chicken is nice and crispy but could use a touch of salt. The fries were a bit soggy, the potato wedges were better, the gravy and biscuits were good. The service is ok. There is street parking out front and on the side street. Since it's not really in my neighborhood don't know how often I'll come here but if I'm in the area and I'm craving chicken I would come here for sure..........

I found they had a promo deal (2 pieces of fried chicken and taters) at $4.99, so I ordered it. I also ordered 6 biscuits as I love them and like to eat them with jam. I asked for takeout. The fried chicken and taters were still good after 15 mins. The fried chicken seemed to be fresh, crispy and juicy. Lol I felt it was eating a healthy version of fried chicken. I am not sure how exactly to describe it but it was different from Church's Chicken, KFC and others. Of course their seasoning and flavour were different. The taters were a bit on the salty side but they tasted good. I would like to try their fries next time. After I paid, the staff asked me to fill out a survey online, so I could get 15% off on my next order. I did it, so I could get 15% off next time. The restaurant is right on Main Street. I prefer to park in the residential area and walk to the restaurant. They also have banana desserts. I might try it next time. It seems to be very interesting I never had that before. Pricing is reasonable and affordable. Their chicken sandwich or burger looks delicious as well. It is on my to-try list too

Mary Brown's recently opened in December 2021 near Main Street and 49th. Small interior with limited seating, seems mainly for takes out. Tried the Original Big Mary's friend chicken combo. Comes with taters and a can of pop. Nice and crunchy sandwich and fluffy bun. The taters were well seasoned and didn't need ketucup.

Just got serviced the least crispy fried chicken of my life. The drumstick skin was more flaccid than crispy.

A most stunning tasting experience, I had here at Phnom Penh in Chinatown…read more PP has been on my radar for some time & I finally made it here. PP has been going strong since 1985 - not an easy achievement in the restaurant industry. PP has that older type restaurant feel inside, but it is very lively as waiters fly by with orders to deliver to tables. Yelpies, order these three items & the say less while you wait for them. Butter Beef (Thinly sliced rare beef) Garlic Wings (heavy on the garlic - FYI) Filet Beef Luc Lac (Tender stir-fried beef) I had a Vietnamese coffee, but it was lame. I've had better elsewhere. The taste of these dishes is orgasmic. I didn't notice nor feel a high sodium content but perhaps maybe a hint of MSG. Regardless, there's a reason why PP has won several awards year after year, including the prestigious - Michelin. Get here ASAP & find out why PP continues to impress foody lovers from everywhere. Warning, this whole area is certified - pure ghetto. Bring your car down here at your own inconvenience. Take transit or uber to get here. Zombies are everywhere. A weird side note - it appears GoDaddy hijacked PPs website. Use IG or Open Table reservations for reference & menu options.

The chicken wings should be called crack wings HIGHLY addictive. The deep-fried squid is prepared the same way as the chicken wings, and the calamari was amazingly tender. The Butter beef was simply fantastic, with flavors that balanced sweetness and saltiness perfectly, topped with delicious accompaniments. I wish the pea shoots had a bit more flavor, but they were cooked just right tender with a satisfying crunch, not overdone. Overall I give this experience 5/5!!

I only learnt of this place when googling for roast meat and this popped up. The store is divided into two sections. One for the cooked roast meat where the menu is at the back of wall. Written in both Chinese and English, they are quite hard to read though. Bring your glasses or better yet, take a picture and zoom in on the photo like what I did. The other part is where you can buy fresh uncooked meat. The other side is lined with refrigerated items. Besides buying the roast meat, you can also have it with rice with your choice of meat. I bought a pound (min order) of roast pork and half a Hong Kong style roast duck (pipa duck I believe). I will say communication can be quite tough as the staff seemed more comfortable speaking in Cantonese which I do not speak. So it has to be a basic ordering in English without any questions or requests. The roast pork has super crispy skin which is really good but it also has such a thick layer of fats underneath that I had to remove it. You could probably save those fatty bits and fry them later to make lardon and add to your home cooked noodles or something. I like the pipa duck. Tender and tasty meat. Tip/Life hack: I googled and found a way to reheat the leftovers so they do not dry out -- cover the meat with foil and heat in oven at 400c for 20-30 mins. For the roast pork, I only covered the meat part and let the skin peeked out so the skin got even crispier.
