Food is amazing. Fast delivery. If you want to eat there they also own the hookah bar in the back.

July 2026 update: A second visit to Glyndon Grill was again great but also surprising:…read more What was great: the creamy crab soup, the intrinsic value of the restaurant week lunch package and the service. Everything all of us ate exceeded expectations and also represented a fine value, but the creamy crab soup was truly special. What was surprising: That the restaurant was nearly empty on a summer Tuesday. Yes it was hot out and a weekday. Still, based on the cuisine and experience, they deserve to be packed always. We had made a reservation that in hindsight, we did not need. What else was a little surprising: the staff charitably offered to split our check without even being asked. So often such a request is greeted with sighs or worse. Little things mean a lot! ***** A lunch reservation required on a weekday? Really. At Glyndon Grill, unless you are arriving by say 11:45am, the answer seems to be a resounding yes. By the time we left at 12:30pm, not a speare table was seen. And Glyndon Grill deserves its popularity. What makes a lunch spot (they are open for dinner too) so very popular. Adjacency to the always-popular-and-stellar Santoni's Market cannot hurt, not can the upscale neighborhood, but come for the food and service. I was focused on health-conscious fare, the the menu offered a diversity of intriguing choices. My premixed (with dressings on the side) Cobb Salad was wonderful. I could choose just how much of the mouth-watering fried chicken morsels I did and did not ant to eat, calorically. My tablemate, also watching pounds and inches, got the grilled salmon with broccoli. Neither could have been better. Best of all was our waitress Anne. Ask for her by name. Supreme professionalism dripped from her every word and action. Attentiveness and pleasant without being obtrusive at all. Yes she probably wanted to turn the table (but you could not tell unless you intuited that fact), and we accommodated because her happiness made us happy too.

There was a brunch menu, so they didn't serve all dinner items but the menu was very good with a variety of breakfast and lunch selections. Everything was good! Since I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to expect--but I'm so glad we chose Maria's! The food was served quickly and came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. A Paloma and The Cactus Blossom. It took a little while to get our food order in We placed the order and our food came out in separate times. Two greek salads were ordered and one salad came out and that was a garden salad. Definitely not ordered. The calamari came out with decent presentation but room temperature and the decorative greens were wilted almost cooked. The plate was hot but not the food. That was sent back. And returned quickly. They dropped it back in the fryer. The same wilted greens on the plate. It was sent back again. The cook comes out and says it was freshly cooked. I firmly let him know its not fresh and pointed out the calamari on another table that was like the first one that was cold. This was over fried as it was refried. Thw other food came out for the table to include the salads that we didnt receive. My bake ziti was the last item to come after 30 minutes. The check was places on the table and the calamari was still on the check. With all the issues and the lack of correct order taking from the waitress this visit was like a couple from my previous visits; u acceptable. Maria's has become hit and miss.

The waiter was patient with my questions and explained what some of the food was as I deliberated over a unique to me menu. I started with the Tolma, which was cabbage stuffed with very tender and flavorful meat. I next ordered Beets with Walnuts and was surprised to see a dish of three squat pieces of beet and walnut mix. It was served cold and was very refreshing. I ended the meal with the Adjaruli which is a cross between a pizza, dip, and bread bowl. It was the best of all those things! Apparently, I needed to be taught how to eat the Adjaruli because I was trying to cut pizza like slices and dip them into the egg. The waiter corrected me (very politely but emphatically) that I should mix the cheese and egg together, then pull off bits of the outside dough to dip into the center. I was close!

My son is in love. At a food stall on a recent vacation, he tried a Georgian cheese boat (Adjaruli,…read moreif you're in the know) and has declared it his new favorite food. Bread bowl with melted cheese and a raw egg yolk to break an mix in - it was made for the boy. So when we came back home, we Yelped "Georgian restaurants" and found Little Georgia, so we came here for his birthday. There's a front entrance on the main drag, but a big private parking lot out back with an entrance there, so we came in. Two mannequins with traditional Georgian (wedding?) attire are there to greet you, with lots of Georgian art and maps along the hallway as you walk in. It was lunch on a weekday, so not a very busy place. Two people at the bar, a table of teens, and a family getting up just as we were entering. Relatively empty. So I was surprised how slow service was over the whole visit. Our waitress was very kind, but I got the impression it was maybe a one-person show. Unfortunately, we skipped asking for some beverages (beyond water) and dessert because we were worried how long it would take. I would definitely try this place again though, because the food was overall pretty good. My son got his Adjaruli cheese boat and was delighted. The bit I tried was good - salty stretchy cheese with a garlic infusion - can't go wrong! My wife got the Phkhlovana spinach cheese pie and it was huge and delicious. Imagine a spanikopita that's cheesier and more bready than flaky crust. Would get again. My brother opted for lamb chops with fried potatoes and I got the Ojakhuri lamb and potatoes. Both were very tasty with a nice seasoning on the potatoes and lamb with a really good piquant and garlicky sauce. My only complaint is that the lamb was pretty well done, and in my opinion lamb is best medium rare; our waitress didn't even ask if we had a cook preference. The ricey, cheesy "cheese balls" appetizer came with the same sauce. Child #3 was in a picky mood that day, so he only ate half of them. They taste like you'd imagine. Solid, but nothing spectacular. Per a recommendation from our waitress, we tried the Adjapsandali eggplant salad. As good as everything was, this was a memorable part of my meal, and I have a love-hate relationship with eggplant. It reminded me a lot of a Catalan Escalivada - roasted eggplant, onions, and peppers served cold but this had a nice salty-sour dressing with it. Would totally get again. It's a nice place with a cuisine that's hard to find in these parts. Reisterstown 2026 with prices to match. The food was overall solid. I wish the service were a little better, but not so bad that I wouldn't come back. Recommended for sure!

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

Me and my family came out to celebrate my father's birthday, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. The Food: Absolutely delicious and up to standard. The Service: Awful. Our waiter barely checked on us, forcing us to ask other staff members for help. To make matters worse, we waited 30 minutes just for the bill, then another 10 minutes for the server to process it. Whether they were short-staffed or not, ruining a birthday celebration makes me hesitant to ever return.
