Food is amazing. Fast delivery. If you want to eat there they also own the hookah bar in the back.

A lunch reservation required on a weekday? Really. At Glyndon Grill, unless you are arriving by…read moresay 1:45am, the answer seems to be a resounding yes. By the time we left at 12:30pm, not a speare table was seen. And Glyndon Grill serves its popularity. What makes a lunch spot (they are open for dinner too) so very popular. Adjacency to the always-popular-and-stellar Santoni's Market cannot hurt, not can the upscale neighborhood, but come for the food and service. I was focused on health-conscious fare, the the menu offered a diversity of intriguing choices. My premixed (with dressings on the side) Cobb Salad was wonderful. I could choose just how much of the mouth-watering fried chicken morsels I did and did not ant to eat, calorically. My tablemate, also watching pounds and inches, got the grilled salmon with broccoli. Neither could have been better. Best of all was our waitress Anne. Ask for her by name. Supreme professionalism dripped from her every word and action. Attentiveness and pleasant without being obtrusive at all. Yes she probably wanted to turn the table (but you could not tell unless you intuited that fact), and we accommodated because her happiness made us happy too.

This used to be one of my favorite lunchtime spots, but unfortunately my most recent experience…read morechanged my perspective. Our waitress, Sara initially seemed pleasant. However, I had to repeatedly flag her down to place our order and again later to request boxes after our food arrived. During this interaction, her tone also came across as somewhat dismissive and unprofessional when I explained that we were on a time constraint due to a meeting. After paying the bill, I was interrupted as I was leaving and asked whether I had accidentally given her the wrong receipt copy. Once it was confirmed that the receipt was correct, she directly questioned why she had not received a tip and whether she had done something wrong. While I understand that tipping is an important part of the restaurant industry, I personally base tips on the overall quality, attentiveness, and professionalism of the service experience. In this case, I did not feel the service went beyond basic expectations. What made the situation especially unacceptable was then being called "rude" as I was leaving the establishment. Regardless of differing opinions on tipping, I believe those conversations should be handled professionally and privately. The interaction left me disappointed and will make me reconsider returning in the future.

I enjoyed my meal but for the uneven temperatures. I would have like everything hotter. The potatoes were hot, the roasted vegetables were warm and and the cod was tepid. I A guest ordered the cream of crab soup and it came out warm so was sent back. All those who got the crab cake were delighted. 3 crab soups were enjoyed and I ended up with 2 great appetizers: the oven fried octopus & the lamb chops , very meaty and a pleasant surprise. One guest got eggplant and spaghetti. Since we are expecting a snow storm I have two doggie bags the Papillion will not be sharing. We were in a room with another much larger party, we were a party of 7. They were louder than us but we had no complaints as we had no problem hearing each other. The building Maria's is in apparently was a former karaoke bar and before that a lovely house. The menu is eclectic : Italian, Greek, Chesapeake Bay &, some Mexican food thrown in. My biggest complaint is the uneven temperature of the food. The kitchen might wish to get their act together. Meanwhile, this weekend at home I'll be eating my delicious cod & vegetables and maybe some spaghetti another night. One more plus: very accommodating as far as adjusting the plates for those lactose & butter intolerant

We ordered Old Bay wings, Greek salad, cornbeef egg rolls a blackberry and strawberry vodka lemondaez. I then ordered a blackberry margarita with premium tequila. The egg rolls came out over cooked but was fixed and were tasty. The wings were juicy and seasoned well. The salad was great as well. The spirited drinks are always GREAT! When the check came out the wings were priced differently then the menu. But we were told that the print was not clear. It clearly said 13.99 but the bill was paid either way. The customer service is dwindling. The spirited drinks are good on certain days as they change bartenders. I have no complaints on my spirited drinks. Thats the highlight of my visits to Maria's.

We ordered the khinkali, the eggplant with walnuts, and sacivi. Our favorite by far, was the khinkali. The flavor was awesome, there was plenty of broth, and they were huge (and just like we had in Georgia). The eggplant with walnuts was good as well (though honestly there's nothing like the eggplants (omg or tomatoes) in Georgia!) The savici was also really good, however the portion size was tiny. It was barely a thigh in an entire container and one of the small pieces was just fatty skin, while another piece was cartilage. Overall, we'll head back for the khinkali! We also want to go in person next time because we heard there was a great wine menu and Georgian wines are delicious!

I highly recommend both the adjarouli and khinkali. My own complaint would be that the servers aren't that personable. They almost act annoyed that you are there. We ordered drinks and when they were brought to the table I asked for some water and was brought an entire pitcher of water, but no glasses. So I guess we were expected to chug our drinks and then refill the glasses with water.

This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

Eh bc the food was just that and the prices were like yowza for the quality received. It's a Sunday night, dinner time, busy but no wait. Took a few minutes but got the drinks. Skipped appetizers and got straight to dinner. Kids cheese burger was truly on point and for $10 the best deal. Kids fried shrimp not bad. Wife's "fresh caught salmon" was ok, nothing special. My fish and chips...imo a disaster...breading to cod ratio was about 3:1...meaning so much batter, hardly any fish, it was a turn off. Maybe the original location is the hidden gem, but the other options in this shopping center I'd consider before dining here. Reminds me of like an upscale red lobster...but none of the delicious cheddar biscuits! I don't know, maybe we hit it at an off night, but it wasn't good nor the prices charged in relation.
