So they think that they can just get everything taken care of in the new companies name and they won't ever have to pay what they owe or do what they are supposed to do. This is why bail bondsmen have such bad reputations. Snohomish already refused to allow them to write bail there because they aren't stupid, and the other counties want their money. The owner is in debt up to his eyeballs - IRS liens and all sorts of crazy shit, so they put the company in someone else's name - someone too stupid to realize what will happen to her when this blows up in her face. And if THAT isn't a good enough reason to not deal with this company, this is: when you bail someone out, you sign a General Power of Attorney, which gives them the right to seize your bank accounts, everything in your house (they will lie on the receipt) , and your cars (you won't even know it's happened until some big guy shows up and drives off in it - and the cops won't help, because they have used that GPA to transfer the title into their name already.) And then, if you want your shit back, they will charge you on top of what you already owe, to get your stuff back. This will be AFTER they tell you 15 different lies and you talk to 3-4 people who will all tell you that THEY are the ones in charge. BEWARE

The man I spoke to was extremely rude, condescending, and kept changing his answers. Initially he told me it wouldn't be a problem because I had history bailing people out before but As soon as he heard the bail was only $500 he told me that I should just pay it to the county instead of using them because it's $185 and non refundable. I told him I didn't have the full $500 right now. He then made up other excuses such as whoever signs needs to have good credit. I asked what they consider "good credit" was and he very sarcastically asked me "well, what do YOU think good credit it". I advised him that I work in the financial services industry and the term "good credit" is relative. I explained to him that we recently lost a child so our credit took a hit, but I otherwise make good money, have stable income, I own my home, I've been employed for 26 years, etc. He told me that if I had ANY delinquent debts, I wouldn't qualify. What it sounded like is that he didn't want to waste his time on such a small surety bond because he wouldn't make much commission off of it. It's Thanksgiving Day, there's absolutely no reason to treat people that way, especially when when they have a side history with your company.

Growing up in Grays Harbor in the 60's & 70's with my dad being a welder, you learn about the best…read moreindustrial stores to go to for service, sadly getting hard to find as big box stores, online shopping, and a new generation taking over. I have this small old Stihl 015 L that my dad used for limbing & cutting small trees that I wanted a case for & extra chain. I did a preliminary search on the Internet for a case & chain, and thought I'd just go into a Stihl dealer to see what they have, besides figuring they would know the proper chain to fit on it. Found these guys from a search on the Internet so took the saw in, and as I walked thru their door I felt like I stepped back into time, back when customer service was not just lip service. This was the first time ever I stepped into this store but the guy at the counter greeted me like a regular with a pleasant greeting & opened the door behind him to the saw shop saying they would take care of me. One of the staff came right up to me & asked me to set my chainsaw on the counter covered with cardboard to absorb any oil & dirt and asked what I needed. I didn't think anyone would have a case for such an old saw, but they had a bunch of used cases & thought they would find one and they did, and offered it for $20, where eBay had a seller wanting $69 plus $50 shipping for a fairly scuffed & well used case. We started talking about chains and the young person helping me warned me the older saws have fairly expensive chains but gave a price for 2 then said he might have some used ones they sharpen & resell. He found one but had to shorten it, separated one of the links before he realized the chain was a 3rd party chain & he wasn't sure if they had a master link to reconnect everything, but did a little scrounging & a little elbow grease & oomph to make it work & we had an affordable spare chain for my saw. Also needed a wrench and I walked away with exactly what I went there for, probably would not have happened with one of the big box stores. Shopping lately has been quite a downer and here is a store like many other industrial stores in Lewis & Grays Harbor county still providing great local service, just ask some of the locals & they will tell you where to shop. People complain of how expensive things are, including name brands with a great reputation like Stihl, but I'll tell you, treat your expensive equipment good & develop a relationship with a good repair shop like Service Saw, and you'll get lots of miles & dependability on these products.
