Everything went well!! The Orkin staff that serves us at 2 Georgian Bay Drive in Morganville NJ are…read morethe best! Matthew Panella is our Orkin contact. He comes regularly to treat the outside of our house. It is comforting to know that if no one is home, he will take care of the exterior. I'm convinced that Orkin has solved our summer cricket issues. Every time I speak to an Orkin staff member, they explain in extreme detail what they are doing and why. Most importantly, they Matthew explains the treatment process in a way that's easy to understand. Many Thanks For The Excellent Service! Sincerely Michael Colletti

After a few visits, I expected that to be the end as over the phone I was told the service included 5 visits. But then I noticed a recurring $31.99 charge on my credit card. And then I would get a text saying a technician would be to my house a few days later. I don't remember agreeing to this, as I only have an ant issue in the summers. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone to cancel (I guess) the membership I unknowingly signed up for. After calling 5 different numbers, and leaving 2 voicemails, I was finally able to get a lovely lady on the phone who helped me cancel my membership and cancel the appointment for Monday that I was made aware of on Friday... 3 stars bc the technicians solved my ant problem, but I didn't agree to a monthly charge and monthly visits year long. They also make it difficult to cancel your service. Edit: I told the lady over the phone yesterday I wanted the service today cancelled. She confirmed it was cancelled. They showed up at my home anyway and sprayed the outside without my consent. So on top of being charged $31.99 for October, I had to pay an additional $66 to close out my account since they performed a quarterly service even though I left voicemails to cancel and it was confirmed cancelled by whoever I talked to on the phone yesterday.

If you need an exterminator for bed bugs, this man is not your guy. He came for an appointment…read moretoday and was here for 5 minutes. Yes, you read that right... 5 minutes. For a bed bug problem. All he did was spray some pesticides and barely covered any ground. Bed bugs are a very different pest from any other pest you'll deal with, and he accomplished absolutely nothing for us today. I work remote and planned on working at a coffee shop today, and wasted my time planning around the appointment because we were informed that we would need to vacate our apartment while they did work around our house. So much for that! I would have expected at least SOME effort to inspect our apartment and maybe try and look around for where they might be. Nope! Barely even lifted a finger. His colleague stood outside the house the entire time, and Gary wasn't even willing to touch the mattress. I had to pull it out for him. What kind of exterminator is afraid of getting their hands dirty? It's your job to find bugs and exterminate them. At least pretend you're trying dude. Before he came, he had us empty all of our dressers and put our clothes in airtight bins. I'll admit, that's good advice, but that's something you'd probably read online before dumping money and time on someone like this. So yeah, thanks for regurgitating obvious information to me. This guy didn't even bother looking into any dressers or closely inspect any of our beds. He made absolutely no effort on his part. I ended up finding more bed bugs myself after thoroughly inspecting my roomate's room, and putting actual effort into making sure that we dealt with them the best way we could for the meantime. If you are reading this and you've discovered bed bugs in an early stage and it's not a big infestation yet, I highly recommend that you watch Mark Rober's bed bug video and follow it religiously. Buy bed bug traps for your bed, encase your bed in a high quality bed mattress cover, apply diatomaceous earth powder in a thin layer around your room (please wear a N95 mask and do your best not to inhale any of it), etc. Follow everything in that video before your bed bug problem becomes an infestation. Please watch that video. It will do you justice. If you caught your bed bug problem too late, you'll need a professional. In other words, not this guy. He might have good reviews for other pests, but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing in regards to bed bugs. He's afraid of them. He ain't gonna help you. Thanks for nothing, I'm sure whatever my landlord paid you was worth it.

Atticare - Our wallington NJ team

Atticare

Heads up -- this is a detailed and honest review…read more I reached out to Atticare after PSE&G completed a home energy assessment on my hundred‑plus‑year‑old home. The assessment wasn't bad, but they did recommend re‑insulating my attic due to the age of the existing insulation. When I contacted Atticare for an estimate, I learned they partner directly with PSE&G on home energy‑efficiency projects, which immediately made the process smoother. Stephen (Inspection & Sales) - Stephen arrived exactly at the scheduled time and was friendly from the moment he walked in. He inspected my attic, measured the square footage, and walked me through all available insulation options. No upselling...just available options. Based on our conversation about my high winter heating bills, he also suggested that my outer walls likely needed insulation. Before giving me any pricing, he made sure I understood that Atticare would secure the best possible PSE&G rebate. They ultimately obtained a sizable rebate (free money!) and a 0% loan for 72 months billed as part of my monthly utilities bill, which allowed me to insulate all three floors of outer walls in addition to the attic. Nick & Crew (Attic Insulation) - Nick and his team also arrived right on time. He explained the scope of work clearly and determined the most efficient way to complete it. His crew worked quickly and had the entire attic insulated in under a day. Victor & Crew (Outer Wall Insulation) - Like Stephen and Nick, Victor and his team were punctual and professional. Because my home's exterior is stucco, he explained the indoor insulation process in detail. His team moved furniture away from the outer walls, covered everything with plastic sheeting, and got to work. I will note that dust mitigation could be improved for walls and furnishings -- not a dealbreaker, but tightening that up would elevate the experience even further. The outer wall insulation work took a bit longer than expected due to the number of holes that needed to be drilled, patched, and painted, but the team handled it diligently. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the services provided and am genuinely looking forward to seeing a decrease in my heating and cooling bills. Not only would I recommend Atticare -- I already have.

It was a complete mess, had signs of rodents, and something was leaking through to our bedroom ceiling below Bob was an absolute delight. In a couple days, he came and took a look, assured me it could be cleaned out, sealed to prevent rodents and energy loss, and even though they don't typically do wall work, could put a temporary seal in place A couples day later, the team was here. In under 3 hours, the space looked completely restored. I could even use it for additional storage space now if I wanted too. So in case it wasn't clear, I would absolutely recommend Atticare NJ and would use them again. The professionalism, timeliness, and attention detail are just a few of the reasons
