Super awesome experience. Broke the case on the key to my 2014 Rav4 but chip and buttons still worked. Went to one dealership who told me I needed to spend over $350 for a new key. Went to another dealership who told me I needed to spend $70 for a new case plus $150 to program it. Was driving home defeated when I randomly pulled into this store to ask as a last ditch effort. 15 minutes later, new fully functional key: $50. Whoohoo!!! Jim was such a nice and pleasant guy to talk to and very honest about what was going on with the all the different price quotes. The people I talked to were very nice however they had to reschedule my project because the parts didn't come in as soon as they had thought. Then when we scheduled the second time, the representative didn't show during the agreed upon window so I called and they still didn't have the parts. My husband left work so we could get the project done and not have to reschedule for a third time. The work is good. Coordination and communication weren't what I had expected. read more

We've had some crazy issues at our new home with door locks and gate locks, but John from A-Abbot handled both service calls with no problem. He is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He also likes dogs, which is always a 5-star rating in my book. First, we had an Anderson door that was stuck (the deadbolt just kept spinning!) which of course happened the same day that the door was being hardwired for an alarm system. John came out just in time to get the door open for the alarm company and then called Anderson for the part since none of the local hardware stores had it in stock. Once it arrived, John came back out right away and fixed it within minutes. We also had very old gate locks/handles that weren't even functioning. John ordered two new sets of hardware for us and came back to install them and make plenty of keys. Hopefully my doors won't get stuck again. But, if they do - or if I have other lock emergencies - I'm calling John at A-Abbot. You should, too. read more

Had to get some keys made and ACE hardware referred me here. The guy behind the counter was sharp, knew what he was doing and had my keys perfectly made in a flash. At $8 each it was a deal. I noticed they also sell electronic locks, safes and door hardware so I asked the owner about these and he was very kind and helpful - anxious to share is extensive knowledge with his customers. A great find and I hope I don't get locked out but if I do, I'd call them in a heartbeat! Great find. read more

For a long time, the remote for my 2004 Saturn hasn't worked. My husband tried to fix it and couldn't . I could have locked and unlocked it manually, but I felt it was a safety concern.
