They came and tried convincing me over the phone that I needed to break the back wall behind the shower for $2,100. I said that was way too expensive and I called another company and the plumber came fixed it for $280 plus a new handle $50. ( no wall breaking ). Wow! I am shocked! New home owners. I know it is little bit of work but please do estimates 3 is a good number. The difference is $2,000. Run before you run out of money guys and get ripped off!!!!!! Reply to your reply Nak: Your worker at my house told me over the phone $551 for the cartridge change and $2,100 for to break the wall to chance the valve. Then 4 days later you sent me the new written estimate with lower pricing $336 cartridge change and $1,666 price for breaking the wall to change the valve maybe after seeing that I left another unhappy review to your other friends company Beastbay plumbing who quoted me $759 for cartridge and $2,297 to open the wall to change the valve. If your guy would quoted me $336 when he was at the house I would've happily went with you as it is a great price. I remember how rude that young man was over the phone with me. We evaluated around 6-7 companies, and off the recommendation of a neighbor we had Letts come out. I was a bit hesitant because you are charged for a minimum of an hour, there is no free estimate. However, in that time he shored up a leak with a temporary patch and had an estimate of how much work it would be to take care of everything, which ended up being much more reasonable than some other places we evaluated. Adam came back when he had enough open schedule to fix everything and some parts were shipped in. An incredibly nice guy, and just an incredibly fair and integrity oriented operation. All the vendors I evaluated were five stars with many reviews, but Letts was the only one that didn't feel like I was being upsold and he was just out there to help me solve my problems. Honestly can't wait to hire them again, which is an absurd thing to say about a plumber, but man what a great experience. I will rave about them to anyone who will listen.

They most recently removed an old water softener and installed new copper piping where the softener connections were. Oddly, the tech charged us for new copper while keeping the copper sections he removed, saying he was adding it to their collection. I get not being able to reuse the sections connected to the old valves but there was some that could have been reused, or left for our recycling. Not a huge deal, just seemed odd that he mentioned keeping it for their future use. We'll still use Letts and recommend them to friends. They're very prompt. The work is done well. And the job sites are left clean.
