Due to the good Yelp reviews I had read and the businesses proximity to my home, I made an appointment with this company to stop by for plumbing help. So I am sitting home waiting anxiously for their arrival and when the two hour window appointment time we agreed on was here they canceled because "a customer of mine is flooding" Of course understood and rescheduled for five days later. This next appointment day finally arrived and they didn't bother to show up or to cancel the appointment I had with them. I called Albert, owner of Finesse Plumbing on Labor Day. I thought our water heater was going out due to water on the garage floor. He answered his phone on the holiday. He told me to check the top of the water heater for leaks and sure enough, just a cold water flex pipe leaking. I fixed it myself but probably would not have looked there without his advise. I had him come and put in a hot water recirculating pump. He arrived on time, actually early, installed the pump and was very friendly. He told me any problems at all, call him. He really wanted us to be happy with the service. We now have someone we can trust for plumbing. read more

I cannot be more thankful for what Albert did! The pipe outside my house was broken and it was flooding so I needed to turn off the water switch. I got no water to use for 1.5 days and I really wanted to get it fixed. I read YouTube videos and seek for help at Home Depot but at the end I made the situation worse. I called multiple plumbers and I was treated more like a number than a customer. Finally I called Finesse Plumbing and Albert answered the phone. First time they came, couldn't do the job of a simple bath tub cloggage. Stated they need to reschedule in order for his company to send two men to go on the roof and send the drain down from the roof. They stood me up twice by not calling or postponing/cancelling appts. I wanted to talk to manager and they stated that they would have him call me. Not once has he called. Finally I called another plumber locally and he came and completed the job in minutes. My boyfriend Marc left a review for Albert as well. Anyway...Albert came and inspected the mystery leak in our garage and we thought it was our water heater. After walking in, in three seconds he told us that it wasn't the heater and his staff went down to the crawl space to figure out if there was a leak. They couldn't find anything and Albert suggested that it might be rain water coming down the elevation from our backyard and to just wait it out to see if it gets worse. Either way, he didn't charge us a single dime for the effort and said that estimates were free. We will definitely be calling him since we do plan on getting our very old heater replaced. So we just bought an older house that needed a new hot water tank as well as someone to help us with fixing the crazy low water pressure in the main bath. Second time I've used them. These guys are great! They're on time, do good work and are super easy to deal with. They're also available on short notice, even on Sunday! I manage several rental properties so being able to resolve issues quickly, especially when I'm out of the area, is really important to me. I have a tenant who had a plumbing issue come up on a weekend. I was a thousand miles away and needed it taken care of ASAP. Finesse worked with the tenants, catered to their schedule, kept me informed and got everything up and running within a couple of hours. I was originally slightly hesitant to hire Finesse Plumbing because they're a bit smaller and newer than the other companies I received bids from. The biggest factor that convinced me to hire them is that the owner Albert has a sense of pride and takes ownership in his company. The other plumbers I spoke with seemed more tired rather than excited for a large job. I hired Finesse to do all of the rough plumbing for my home addition in Vallejo. The agreed amount was fair, I didn't feel the need to negotiate, and there were no extra costs. They were quick to start the project and generally stayed with the pace of the other contractors. I liked that when the crew showed up in the morning, Albert would come to the door to say good morning and go over the days plan. During conversations he shared information about the direction of his business, similar jobs, and his personal efforts to improve upon his trade. I can tell how proud Albert is of his work and successes. He always has a smile on his face and is very polite, even under stress. There was one moment where they were running behind, however Albert and his colleague stayed until 11:30PM to make sure the job got done. I'm hoping to use Finesse Plumbing in the near future for replacing the original sewer lines in my 1940s home. read more

Once again Finesse comes to the rescue !!! After waiting 4 days for a part to arrive I started calling around for a repairman for my water heater. At first I tried Finesse but, unbeknownst to me the number had changed. So after trying all the numbers , BINGO!. After twisting their arm they were able to get the job done for me. They went the extra mile. Such good guys. Especially when the manufacturer of the water heater misdiagnosed my problem,sent the wrong part,and then didn't even call me to adjust the part number-they tried to send it but had some snag-stupidity?-and didn't bother calling me to correct their mistake. Unfortunately the most unprofessional contractor i've had to deal with since moving to the East Bay. Waited four days for our scheduled appointment which they failed to show up for. Avoided answering the phone and refused to return my calls. Looks like this isn't the first time this has happened. They were great until they got paid. Treated me wonderful then when they were "done" and paid and I had called them out to fix things that needed to be done I was flaked on repeatedly. Then after getting upset for wasting my time after waiting hours for them to show up and never did and no call to tell me they weren't coming. I was told "fix the sh** myself" among other things. They took my money and didn't care after that even tho they said the work was guaranteed. My contractor was concerned with things they did and I wHen I told them that they said"get a real inspection". I've saved all the messages from Albert. I failed the plumbing inspection after paying almost 6k. I had to pay someone else to fix the problems they left. I was directed by the inspector to report them to the board. Hopefully they might want to settle this. But they might flake on me. My original review was good but that's because I had faith in them and trusted them. But after 2 contractors had told me before inspection what needed to be fixed they completely left me hanging. read more

This is the second time I have used Finese Plumbing and these guys are great! The first time was a Saturday and I had all these subs lined up but ran into a glitch, the angle shut off valves were leaking and would not stop the water, I called Finese and Albert was able to do it quickly and efficiently! It was a Saturday and he told he there was a minimum so when he finished, he offered to measure the pressure of my water, just it case it was over and answered all my questions! Showed me where the main shut off valve was and other tips, it was awesome! The second time, again ready to do the bathroom and the shut off valves are leaking, I called Finese and made an appointment, we confirmed and they arrived on time- thought it wasn't Albert, it was Joe and he was just as awesome! It wasn't as easy since the junction was in the wall but everything got replaced, he was clever and brought different sized pipes and fittings, which is a good thing since one of the faucet hoses is a different size than the other. No fuss and everything taken care of for the price quoted, on time and friendly great guys!! These are definitely my go to guys and I'm in the construction industry, I can tell who knows what they are doing or not. I don't say that much about but I do watch to see if they are following building practices. Some things just click so why change when you know it will be good! read more

First Class!!! Above and Beyond. All I can say is you're in great hands if you have Finesse Plumbing do work for you. They looked at the scope (running a gas line to a BBQ island when the only gas line was to our living room fireplace) and gave us a great and fair price. They were super responsive and on time. Did excellent work and even went beyond scope to give us the best, safest and most reliable solution. We had a very tight deadline and they squeezed us in and got it done, not just in time, but with better than average quality. They dug up the existing gas line and wrapped it for extra safety. They worked around our time frame and knew the ins and outs of code and how to do the work in a way that caused the least disruption for us and the least disturbance to the existing structure. We received a very large water bill. We called EBMud because we had not been living in the house so no one was using water. We finally called Finesse Plumbing and Albert Minor came to the house the next day. He went under the house and found a leak. After checking everything out he gave us an estimate, which we accepted. He got the job done quickly and effeciently. He did not go over the estimate so we were very happy to have the work done and we paid him. Later we wanted to sell our house and there was a problem with the sink in our master bathroom. Having a good experience with Finesse Plumbing we gave them a call. When Albert arrived on the day we agreed on, he checked out the sink and set out to get what we needed. The sink was an odd size yet he was able to find one. We agreed on his estimate and he got to work. It turned out beautiful. The house is an older house but the sink he suggested he gave our bathroom an updated look.
