Paul responded quickly to my call regarding a corroded drain for a bathtub in a San Francisco apartment. He arrived promptly at the building and was able to replace an old steel fitting that had completely rusted out with new PVC pipes and fittings. The access to the drain was quite difficult, behind gas lines and other steel pipes, but he (and his son!) managed to finish the job quickly and efficiently. The pricing was totally fair. I would recommend Paul wholeheartedly and will be using him again in the future. read more

I reached out to Paul after three different folks wouldn't work on my tankless combination water heater/boiler. At this point I had been taking several days of cold showers and don't have heat because I have radiant heating. We coordinated a time and he arrived promptly. He was able to diagnose and fix my urgent need, getting hot water flowing within 20 minutes of his visit. He identified a longer term fix and the specific part that I'd need to replace. I plan to continue to work with him to ensure my water heater setup is in top shape going forward. I feel confident in the diagnosis and recommendations offered. Paul showed professionalism and expertise throughout his visit and I recommend him for anyone with water heater needs. read more

If and when you need a true professional you have to call or email Paul . We had a water pipe burst open on Thursday and got in touch with Paul on Friday . Paul came by after his long work day and went under our house to a 2ft high basement. He found the culprits and made a promise to come back first thing in the morning. When he returned the next day with his son, they went under and fixed the pipe. We had running water again. Woo hoo . Because of his experience and exceptional eye, he brought to our attention that we had pitting holes in our gas lines (scary) which were a few feet from a our water heater (also scary) . Paul went home after we agreed we should change the pipes and wrote us a contract. We agreed with his price and off he went to get new pipes . He worked all weekend and now my wife and I feel confident our house will be fine and safe for 100 years. read more

Great plumbing service. They are skilled, professional and reasonable in cost. They are the only plumbers I will ever call.

Mr. Walker is absolutely THE BEST! My house has some intricate radiant heating/tank-less water system and after trying contacting several plumbers, the guys over at Albion Plumbing recommended Mr. Walker. It turns out that he is the ONLY plumber who is familiar with the BAXI systems. I called him, and he went over to solve the issue the same day, in a matter of a few hours. The price was far less than what I was quoted with other plumbers (who were not familiar with the type of issue I was having.) I am keeping his number on speed-dial, he was fast, honest and extremely affordable. read more

Had Paul Walker install an upgraded toilet. He was on time, courteous, professional and did quality work. He left the property as he found it - no mess left behind. His rates were the best around and very reasonable. He even had the spare parts needed right on his truck. It's comforting to finally have a good, reliable plumber in the rolodex. read more

Walker's plumbing services (510 237-7457). Mr. Walker inspected our heater. He is the most professional, honest, intelligent, well informed, polite, punctual, thorough, and honest (did I say honest already) plumber we have worked with. In the past 10 years, we had to deal with our landlord's plumbers and Department of Building inspectors, whom were unintelligent, sexist, dishonest and had absolutely no knowledge about our heaters. One inspector from the Department of Inspection stood there and did nothing while my landlord verbally abused and threatened me. In fact, at the Rent Board hearing, the judge agreed with Mr. Walker's opinion rather than the expensive plumbers hired by the landlord or the Department of Building Inspection. read more

Needed some pipes moved for a dishwasher. Paul called right back and came out the next day for a quote and the next week with his son to do the work. The house is old and weird but this didn't phase him. He even knew how to deal with the 400 pound concrete sink that had to be removed (why did anyone ever make a sink out of concrete???). Call him for your all your old victorian plumbing needs. read more

Paul Walker redid my water heating system about 10 years ago and I was incredibly impressed with him. I've recommended him to friends and neighbors and they're as enthusiastic as I am. He REALLY knows his stuff. He responds quickly, always seems to know what the problem is, and fixes it in record time. He was here again this week and I was reminded of what a pro he is. And a really nice guy! read more

I had a wonderful plumbing experience with Walker's Plumbing Service today in Hercules. I called Mr. Walker mid morning and we arranged a time to meet. He told me he would call me to status when he was on the road from the previous job. He called timely to give me the update and arrived when he originally said he would. He quickly assessed the problem (which was somewhat extensive in my mind) and effeciently completed the job timely. I was delighted to find that he also services Castro Valley. He will complete a job for me there tomorrow. Integrity, trustworthiness, effecient, professional and fairly priced are all words that I will use to describe Mr. Walker. I'm glad I found Walker's Plumbing Service. read more

My kitchen sink was clogged, and would only drain if I ran the garbage disposal. I called Paul, and he got right back to me, but he was booked through the weekend. Even though I wan't a current client, since I'm pretty handy, he walked me through a bunch of things I could try. I had to call back several times, and each time he was helpful and patient. In the end, I couldn't fix it myself, so I scheduled a time, and agreed on his reasonable quoted rate. Paul showed up on time, took care of the problem, and left the place neat and clean. I don't write many reviews, someone either has to really impress me or piss me off. Paul really impressed me! read more
