I am writing this review to express my sincere appreciation for Carlos and his team. We recently purchased a home, and Carlos and his crew helped us address several plumbing issues as well as construction work that needed to be done. They gave 100% effort throughout the entire process. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with valuable advice. He was honest, friendly, always available, and truly supportive like a father figure to us. Thank you so much to Carlos and his team for the outstanding service. If I could, I would give you 100+ stars! read more

Definitely recommend this place. Fast service, and reasonable price. Thanks to Carlos and staff read more

Couldn't ask for a better plumber. Called Carlos in the morning about my plumbing problem, he was at my place that afternoon and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Sure glad I saw him on Yelp and gave him a try. I'll remember him. read more

We called Reyes Plumbing because our water heater leaked all over the garage! Although it was the weekend, Carlos made the exception to come by and take a look (because we were panicking). Within a couple of hours, he and his team installed a brand new, more modern electric water heater--and it's been working exceptionally ever since! We haven't had any issues. Their work was done fast, efficiently, and professionally. We truly value the quality of their work and the peace of mind they gave us during a stressful situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable plumbing services. read more

Fair, honest and hard working. They were recommended to me by a friend. I called them in for a second quote when the first plumbers I brought out gave me an estimate I thought was way too high. Reyes gave me a fair price. The work turned out to take longer than we had anticipated and they still kept to their estimated price. Carlos was very professional and I appreciated how he handled our job. I would definitely call them again ( first this time!) to do any plumbing work. Thank you for your help! read more

We used Antonio of Reyes Plumbing to replace a water heater. he was able to find and install a new water heater in less than a day. both he and his crew did exceptional work. read more

Very pleased I called Rayes Plumbing not only gave me a quote of how much my price would be they also found me the fastest at many places I was able to book an appointment with them. They make me feel at ease after knowing how much my job would cost. I believe other businesses take advantage when you are a woman asking for services of this kind, I have called other places and given me a ridiculous price. I will be calling for future services needed in my home and happily will refer to friends and family. read more

We have called Carlos, Reyes Plumbing for all our plumbing problems in the kitchen and bathroom of our Berkeley home for over 10 years now. Carlos is an expert and provids consistent, quality work for all these years. He can be busy at times but worth the wait! read more

For a while my toilet has been giving me some difficulties. The water pump or some mechanism of that sort would constantly go on by itself. Sometimes you could hear the toilet working by itself in the afternoon, sometimes in the middle of the night. This of course, was wasting water unnecessarily. But because of procrastination, I never got to solving the issue or calling an expert. However, there came the day that suddenly (well, as you can see, not really suddenly) the toilet started working at all. After considering the options, we called Reyes Plumbing. Making the appointment was easy. The staff, especially their secretary Patricia, was very friendly. They came the day of the appointment and explain to me that my toilet is a bit old but they were able to find the right parts to make the old thing work again! excellent job Carlos and team! My toilet is pretty old and when I am ready to replace it, I am definitely calling the Reyes Plumbing team. Great job guys! read more

After an Inspection within my crawlspace revealed a cracked sewer pipe I called Reyes Plumbing, they came out the next day. this pipe was in an extremely difficult location to reach and may not have been noticed or repaired for years. The adjacent pipes were old as well and they were able to rebuild the connections and replace the piping. They were also able to replace a ball cock valve on a Toto Toilet. They did a great job, and provided great service. read more

They turned a simple job into a complicated mess. They installed things improperly and spent many days redoing previous work. They are friendly enough but incompetent. read more

I am visiting from Hawaii housesitting at a friends beautiful house in the Berkeley Hills. Suddenly the sink stopped up, the dishwasher flooded and I was in complete duress. I called Reyes Plumbing and Mr. Reyes said he could be there by 230 that day. Not only was he prompt. He was probably the most professional, competent, and all around gentleman I have come across in a long time. He went above and beyond to fix the problem and was so informative as he went along. This business deserves to be recognized. They are local, very knowledgable, and above all gave me the peace of mind I so desperately needed. Bravo Mr. Reyes. You are a class act and among the best out there. read more

I can highly recommend Reyes Plumbing. I had occasion to use them for the 2nd time today and Carlos responded to an early morning distress call to secure a hard to find water heater specific to my condo. He reached out to find the unit that was in stock in Santa Clara and by early afternoon the new unit was fully installed and operational. Clean up was also excellent. His crew is strictly first class and Carlos himself a top shelf professional. Highly recommend. read more

We hired Reyes Plumbing to do a sewer inspection on a house we were buying. They sent us a video file December 1st, but the file would not open. They promised us a hard copy of the video once we sent a check. The check was written December 2nd and cashed January 7th, but we still have yet to receive the video and it is now February 3rd. They have not responded to two emails and did not answer their phone when I called either. read more

We had a terrible experience with Reyes Plumbing. The crews were often loud and rude, but that was the least of it. What was worse were the errors made on our project, which the owner was slow and reluctant to fix. A month after the work was done, we even found an uncapped gas line that had Reyes' crew left open. Will never work with these guys again. read more

Ask for Carlos, you will not be disappointed. He has good customer service skills, efficient, knows quality, has a good eye for aesthetics. If you are using quality materials and want it done right, use Carlos. The reception on the phone is very pleasant as well. He is booked, so plan ahead. 510 215-2131 read more

I called last Friday morning for an appointment because I could not get a rusted and stuck screw on one shower knob that I want to replace. The lady said she'll give me a call back after she talks to her technician. Heard nothing. Called around 4:00pm, the lady said her technician just came in and that she'll give me a call back in 10 minutes...will still waiting. I guess small jobs are not worth their time. read more

Carlos Reyes of Reyes Plumbing gave me the most reasonable estimate to fix my water pressure problem. He explained the necessary work (re-piping using copper) and upgrading the pipes from the water heater. He did not make extra work to make more money and even replaced a leaking pipe at no extra cost. The technicians were very professional and worked steadily. It was the best plumbing work I`ve had done in 40 years. Altogether, an excellent experience! Give them a call at 510-215-2131. read more

I found Reyes plumbing on Redbeacon and within a short time of submitting my request got a call. I had already done research on my faucet problem and Carlos listened and was flexible with appointment times. He was not just on time, but 5 minutes early and did a great job! I was impressed with his professionalism, something you can't always find in this field. read more

Reyes Plumbing has done two projects in our home, starting with the installation of a garbage disposal and ending with a cleanout for our drains. They are the first choice for any plumbing needs we have and we recommend their dependable service to others. read more

Nice guys. Sometimes responsive, sometimes not. But unfortunately, really terrible plumbers. We did a whole-house remodel with Reyes Plumbing, which included five bathrooms and one kitchen. A few years later, we've had to hire other plumbers to fix the vast majority of the work, including a broken toilet, a garbage disposal they installed so badly it had to be replaced, shower handles installed incorrectly, a drain cover installed so badly that the inner parts cracked, kitchen faucets that have come detached from the countertops, and more. When things first started to break, we asked Reyes to come fix them, but they either claimed they were fixed or told me the problems were unfixable because of faulty parts (although other plumbers were able to fix them). Reyes stopped responding to my calls and I stopped trusting them to be able to repair anything anyway. They charged me for so many hours of trying to get things to work during the renovation, all of which I'm now sure a competent plumber could have done in far less time. I'm worried -- if all the visible plumbing work was done badly, who knows what leaks or errors are happening inside our walls? read more

A few days ago I had a problem at my home. One of the water pipes under my house burst in the middle of the night. I shut off the water supply to the house and started looking for a plumber. I had used different plumbers over the years but decided I would try a local plumber whose trucks I see on a regular basis. The owner came out later that day and gave me two options for repair. One was to just fix the one pipe and the other was a more extensive replacement option. I chose the more extensive option because of the age of my house and the condition of the pipes. The work was scheduled for the next day which was a Saturday. The crew spent all day on the job. The owner and crew were very professional and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with their work and the price I paid. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done. I will be using them in the future if needed. read more
