The results of their work will speak for itself: high quality, good value. However, I have an issue with their pricing model. Brody Bros pricing is subscription based. The fixed price in 2021 was $300; the monthly unit fee was $40 but moved up $50 over time. Now that my partner and I have moved and have changed address, they want us to pay $400. We have been Brody Bros customers for years and have given them approx. $3,000 over time by being loyal customers. That money is going to dry up if they don't remove the fixed fee for moving to a new location. This won't be a problem because there are highly qualified business substitutes in their market. My observations and opinions are my own perception. Brody Bros obviously has a platform to defend their position for pricing. However, I am motivated to give three stars over the pricing strategy because I think it is nasty work.

Do not hire this company. They regularly engage in fraudulent, dishonest business practice and will…read morescam you out of money with their bait and switch price schemes. Be sure to read carefully what they provide in writing because it will not be what they told you verbally. They will quote you an initial price and then change the price to double the quote. I have reported them to the Maryland State Department of Licensing and Labor for Fraudulent Business Practices. And am in the process of filing a complaint with the better business bureau. We had a verbal agrement for $125 inspection charge which would be applied to the initial treatment if they did the treatment at the same time. I agreed to the initial treatment for $175 and then a quarterly charge of $125 for regular maintenance. But then they gave me a bill for $300 for 2 services in 7 days. And they refused to do a 1 time service $175. They wasted my time. And my tenant's time. And refused to honor our verbal agreement for the $175 treatment after wasting hours of my time. I have already disputed the charge on my credit card. But please be warned... they will charge your card even if they don't actually do the services.

I called to remove a hornets nest from a branch in a tree. It is a smaller tree so the nest was…read morenot terribly high up but it was built near the end of the branch not near the trunk. The company only provides the workers with extremely short folding ladders maybe 5'. They need a taller 8' or more folding ladder to properly get under the nest to spray inside as to disturb the nest as little as possible. This way they kill the queen & the majority of the hornets inside. The technician was very nice & we looked for a taller folding ladder in my garage but we did not have one. So he tried the one he had. It was too short. So he got the taller ladder that leans against the tree. While he tried it shook the branch & the hornets went crazy flying all over. Then he had to cut the branch with my cutters to get to the nest. Cutting the branch made the majority of the hornets fly out & go crazy. They were flying looking for he nest in it's original location above. He disposed of the nest while thousands of hornets still remained flying around angry. I told him a lot of people walk their dogs on the sidewalk where the nest was. So he sprayed something to get them to go away mostly. Within a couple of days the hornets were back in the same location re building the nest. I called back 4 days later & I was told it takes 3-5 days for them to go & they won't re build without the queen. So he dismissed me & my concerns while talking down to me like I'm clueless. So I gave it a couple of more days. Then I called back & they said someone would come back. A day later on the day they were due to return the manager called to say they do not guarantee one time services. They do not tell you this when you call to schedule nor does the technician say if I disturb the hive & they come back it's on you... *but he did say they do not supply the proper ladders for the job. * So now we paid $150 to have the hornets back rebuilding in the same location. The manager on the phone did try to sell me the quarterly plan that does have a warranty. I said no thanks & hung up. I don't recommend using them to remove hornets nests as they don't actually take care of the problem & you are left to finish the job on your own.

After finally getting a schedule, they make you set up payment with all your credit card information (including security code) BEFORE ever coming out to provide a service, and then on the day they were supposed to arrive they went to 320 instead of 3020 address and told me I gave them the wrong address.They were too busy to squeeze in another attempt same day. I took off work for this. Somehow they think I just forgot where I live rather than them simply not listening or verifying the address. So hard to work with, I couldn't even get them to show up.
