WE got a small project for Davis and his team on April 27th, 2019. He was very good at what he was doing such as flooring with laminate wood, chalking, putting the planks with precision. They also cleaned up too after the job. The day before, David helped us purchase the right kind of wood for the kitchen floor. He took care of buying things at no extra cost. I've had David and co. Do everything at my office from carpeting, to setting up my warehouse with palette racking to demising doorways with unique and innovative solutions in order to create a secure entrance and egress involving an odd sized metal detector. Always reliable, responsible and prompt, I have since commissioned them to lay flooring in my house, paint, do some masonry work on my patio that was suffering from design flaws and more. These guys really are handymen and like to craft resourceful ways to deal with atypical problems. David at A-1 Handyman Service is great! He knew exactly what he needed to do, and came prepared (with tools) to do it well and quickly. I had big holes in my wall from plumbing work. He not only cut and replaced the sheetrock, but his work was so refined, that it is barely possible to tell that my wall/ceiling was patched, and it's not even repainted yet. I decided to watch him work because that helps me decide how good the work will be. He was meticulous and prepared for all the little things -- something that comes with experience. Used the service to have a carpet removed without damage to the underlying hardwood floors. They were a few minutes late but professional and reached out to let me know. Dave and his team did an excellent job re-tiling the shower area of our bathroom. He replaced rotted wood in our walls and re-caulked around our tub. All of this was completed in a quick weekend!
