I've waited some time to revise this review as I was waiting to see how the flooring held up after repair. They came out assessed and agreed the flooring was put down without enough room for summer expansion during humid months. Buckling sections were lifted and cut and it has held up two summers now. I run a dehumidifier which prob has helped. My only remaining complaints are that my concerns about moisture and request to add moisture barrier prior to install were not heard and communication after my initial complaint was not good. But they did stand behind work and that's a big deal. read more

They will send you samples, follow-up (but not in an annoying way,) and make sure you are happy with the outcome. Been trying to get someone from Floorcraft to call me back for four months. Since July I have made 5 phone calls to try and get them to come and take a wrinkle out of my rug that has stretched. The young lady on the phone promises to have someone call me and after 4 months I have pretty much given up. Last time I called she told me someone would call me back in an hour. Rita V. 10/23/21 I had a flood in my house due to a water heater break I hired Floor craft carpet to do the job it was an okay job not the greatest. There was a dent in one of the flooring they were to come back to fix and also put molding around the tile by my front door. Now i have guest tripping over the tile when they leave and also they were to put a stripping on my rug as you walk into bedroom. I have called them numerous times never get a return call. They are avoiding me .maybe I am wrong but is this what you call good customer service. P. S. Its been way over a month still haven't heard from them. of course when you go there they are going to treat you like gold they want the job have something go wrong you will never hear back from them I am not going to let this go away I paid 9681.00 for the job. We hired Floorcraft rather than Home Depot because we wanted white glove, no hassle care. We paid them more than HD seeking a smooth installation with no problems. We were mistaken. The job was two parts, replacing a damaged carpet with vinyl laminate and more carpeting in two phases. The workmanship was OK with a slight problem that was eventually repaired after much struggle on my part. The real issues were communication and not standing behind their work. They did not call either time to confirm their arrival. The first time, they were a little late, arrived after I called. The second time, they did not show up at the scheduled time. I called the office an hour later, no apology for having us wait for them. They showed up 2 1/2 hours late to install carpeting. Oddly, they wanted me to pay cash after the install. I had paid via card previously and insisted I do the same the second time. Smart move on my part. A week later, the real problems started. There was a transition strip between the laminate and the carpeting and the carpeting was coming up and fraying. I called and a week or two later, Sal came by to fix it. He could not and said someone from the office would call. They did not. A week later, I called. They sent no one. I called again two weeks later, no response. Then I called the credit card company to dispute the charge. The credit card company called them and after a few phone calls, the repair was made, about 15 minutes worth of work Of course, I was not properly notified about their arrival time. Basically, they did not want to remedy their installation mistake until I contested the charge. That is not what I call good service and the opposite of the smooth installation I had sought. Avoid. If it all goes well, you are in luck but if you have a problem, be ready to fight. They will not stand behind their work. BTW, some people seem to like Roddy, the owner, but he was surly and dismissive towards us. Not a pleasant person once he has your money. read more

It was such a wonderful experience that I used them again for new kitchen, dinning room, living room and basement floors a few years later in 2001. This year, I gutted my house and added an addition. We had several wall-to-wall carpets removed and the cut down and bound as area rugs, which they also cleaned. The people were very pleasant and professional to deal with. They came when they said they would and did an excellent job on the carpeting. The also removed all the tacks and even came back and removed a couple that had been missed in the first go-round. The rolled up the excess cut pieces and took them to the curb for pick up by the town. They are really dependable, and I would highly recommend them.
