Everything went well as it always does. We've been working with Sal and a nicer and more knowledgeable person you won't meet. Sal from Floorcraft took the measurements and my shades were delivered just when Sal said they would be. Installation was great as are their products. If you need Carpet, Window Treatments or just good advice I'd visit or call Floorcraft. read more

Floorcraft professionals arrived at our house as scheduled to pull up a worn 40 year old wall to wall carpet in our living room, then sand, refinish and stain the floor. After their meticulous, skilled work was completed, we discovered a beautiful red oak floor with darker mahogany trim that they brought to life. We are delighted with our experience in all aspects including staff courtesy and flexibility. read more

Floorcraft Carpet - Here is the beautiful floor brought to life by Floorcraft professionals. - Flooring Near Me - Pleasantville, New York

I've waited some time to revise this review as I was waiting to see how the flooring held up after repair. They came out assessed and agreed the flooring was put down without enough room for summer expansion during humid months. Buckling sections were lifted and cut and it has held up two summers now. I run a dehumidifier which prob has helped. My only remaining complaints are that my concerns about moisture and request to add moisture barrier prior to install were not heard and communication after my initial complaint was not good. But they did stand behind work and that's a big deal. read more

Starting with Susan in the office and branching out to the guys who installed our stair runners, Floorcraft is the place to call for any flooring projects. They will send you samples, follow-up (but not in an annoying way,) and make sure you are happy with the outcome. We chose a beautiful wool carpet for our stair runner for three sets of staircases and the team installed it in a half-day! They were on time, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Would definitely use Floorcraft in the future. read more

Been trying to get someone from Floorcraft to call me back for four months. Since July I have made 5 phone calls to try and get them to come and take a wrinkle out of my rug that has stretched. The young lady on the phone promises to have someone call me and after 4 months I have pretty much given up. Last time I called she told me someone would call me back in an hour. That was 9 days ago and still no call. If you purchase something here don't expect to get any customer service afterwards. read more

Rita V. 10/23/21 I had a flood in my house due to a water heater break I hired Floor craft carpet to do the job it was an okay job not the greatest. There was a dent in one of the flooring they were to come back to fix and also put molding around the tile by my front door. Now i have guest tripping over the tile when they leave and also they were to put a stripping on my rug as you walk into bedroom. I have called them numerous times never get a return call. They are avoiding me .maybe I am wrong but is this what you call good customer service. P. S. Its been way over a month still haven't heard from them. of course when you go there they are going to treat you like gold they want the job have something go wrong you will never hear back from them I am not going to let this go away I paid 9681.00 for the job. Very Very disappointed . I live in Yorktown heights N, Y. as of now i have not heard from this company . read more

I had both hardwood floors and carpeting installed by Floorcraft. The process from start: selecting the materials to finish: installation, was a pleasure. The sales staff (Mary Anne and Susan), project manager (Sal), and installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. They kept appointments, were on time, and completed the project meticulously adhering to the schedule we agreed on and cleaning up nicely before leaving. I recommend Floorcraft highly and without reservation. They do beautiful work, have lovely products, are easy to work with, and price fairly. I needed to have 4 rooms with wood floors refinished, and the rest of the house recarpeted. Sal promptly gave me a reasonable quote as well as important advice on what not to do as I prepared the house for sale. His team was professional, on time, and careful. The stairs with spindles took a lot of work and it looks great. Sal's personal touch, accountability, and communication made this very time pressured job a East for me. I would recommend this company to anyone! read more

Roddy, Sal and Manual have been wonderful to work with. My parents used Floorcraft in the past to install new hard wood floors in their home. When I decided to use them when I wanted to re-stain the oak floors I have in my new home. Sal was the main person I worked with and he was very knowledgeable and provided me with lots of different options at various price points. Manuel was the main person who worked at my mom and he was also wonderful. He did meticulous work. I am VERY excited and happy about how my floors turned out. Thank you, Dana read more

Floorcraft Carpet - Photo doesn't do the carpeting justice - Flooring Near Me - Pleasantville, New York

Absolutely nothing negative to say! The nicest and most helpful people I have ever dealt with down to the installers of my carpet. They didn't try to sell me a carpet over the top, they worked with my budget, returned every phone call promptly, showed up on time for measurements, and even brought samples to make sure the color I picked out worked in my family room and bedroom. Installation went smoothly, all workers showed up with masks & very professional. With the extra carpet Floorcraft made 3 extra pieces for me and bound the edges at no additional cost. Definitely recommend this company! read more

We hired Floorcraft rather than Home Depot because we wanted white glove, no hassle care. We paid them more than HD seeking a smooth installation with no problems. We were mistaken. The job was two parts, replacing a damaged carpet with vinyl laminate and more carpeting in two phases. The workmanship was OK with a slight problem that was eventually repaired after much struggle on my part. The real issues were communication and not standing behind their work. They did not call either time to confirm their arrival. The first time, they were a little late, arrived after I called. The second time, they did not show up at the scheduled time. I called the office an hour later, no apology for having us wait for them. They showed up 2 1/2 hours late to install carpeting. Oddly, they wanted me to pay cash after the install. I had paid via card previously and insisted I do the same the second time. Smart move on my part. A week later, the real problems started. There was a transition strip between the laminate and the carpeting and the carpeting was coming up and fraying. I called and a week or two later, Sal came by to fix it. He could not and said someone from the office would call. They did not. A week later, I called. They sent no one. I called again two weeks later, no response. Then I called the credit card company to dispute the charge. The credit card company called them and after a few phone calls, the repair was made, about 15 minutes worth of work Of course, I was not properly notified about their arrival time. Basically, they did not want to remedy their installation mistake until I contested the charge. That is not what I call good service and the opposite of the smooth installation I had sought. Avoid. If it all goes well, you are in luck but if you have a problem, be ready to fight. They will not stand behind their work. BTW, some people seem to like Roddy, the owner, but he was surly and dismissive towards us. Not a pleasant person once he has your money. read more

Thorncraft recently installed carpeting and luxury vinyl plank at my house. I'd forgotten that it's possible for a company to be so professional, , reasonably priced and a pleasure to deal with. It's such a rare experience these days. It was less than 10 days from my first call for someone to come and measure and installation. We couldn't be happier! read more

I first used Floorcraft for new rugs 24 years ago when I moved into this area. It was such a wonderful experience that I used them again for new kitchen, dinning room, living room and basement floors a few years later in 2001. This year, I gutted my house and added an addition. Floorcraft is there once again doing the entire house in carpeting and wood floors. Susan in sales is a doll. Roddy, the owner, is a stand up guy, great businessman and eager to please. Service men and installers are neat and careful with their surroundings. Prices are great and customers are treated with respect. It's foolish to shop anywhere else. read more

We had several wall-to-wall carpets removed and the cut down and bound as area rugs, which they also cleaned. The people were very pleasant and professional to deal with. They came when they said they would and did an excellent job on the carpeting. The also removed all the tacks and even came back and removed a couple that had been missed in the first go-round. The rolled up the excess cut pieces and took them to the curb for pick up by the town. They are really dependable, and I would highly recommend them. We thought that their prices were reasonable, especially considering all they did. read more
