Go there for that, we may even go back to finish the basement stairs. However after 1 year holding off on a review I can't help but still feel the sting of a set of table and chairs we spent A LOT of money on and are ultimately disappointed with. We had done some research before coming in but were honestly novice. Thought we met someone who we could trust, who understood the quality we were looking for but once the set arrived by delivery (yes Bob from the showroom can be gruff), we were bummed and were stuck with It based on their Return policy. We vowed never again to buy from a picture on a laptop, which after spending so much time trying to find a set that we'd like, we just settled for in order to get something in the works for our empty new house. Had to learn the expensive way! *pictured: awesome runner; The "farmhouse table" which I was told was from North Carolina (via China) and bistro chairs $250 chairs that they told me we needed to customize cushions for starting at $48/pc

I've purchased multiple high end carpets from Creative Flooring through my designer over the years…read more Their quality and installation are definitely good, though their prices are higher for the same products than other local stores. But when I went in alone today (without my designer), and they didn't know who I was necessarily, the owner was smug and overbearing. She made it clear they want to "help" you throughout the store, but the two people "helping" never put on masks. For me, it was uncomfortable to have two people literally breathing down my neck without wearing masks, while I was masked. When the owner made a comment about it being hard to read my face because I was wearing a mask, I left. As a cancer patient with unvaccinated kids at home during a pandemic, I shouldn't have to ask a local store worker or OWNER to mask up. I absolutely won't give business to a store actually talking badly about the fact that I'm wearing one! I'll never give them my business again.

I called creative flooring and Tara was so warm and wonderful and said to come right in. A few days later (this morning) we dropped off the remnant with Susan who helped me decide on the correct size and gave me a great estimate. Four hours later I picked up a beautifully bound rug from a most kind and knowledgeable Susan (and the kids loved her two beautiful recur pups)! Thank you Susan for your guidance and the beautiful work!

I had Roman Shades installed in my Family Room and Living/Dining Room today by John, the owner. #1 - I enjoyed the professionalism and expertise and personal service John offered. #2 - John immediately had a sense for the style and color I was going for and even offered suggestions as I was FaceTiming a good friend for advice (what patience!). #3 - I shopped around and MSF&S offered the best value for the quality product, variety of materials and styles and work they delivered. #4 - I appreciated that John, himself, communicated every step of the way, delivered earlier than expected and installed the shades himself - where most designers will send someone else to do the work. And, one more thing! #5 - He was neat, clean and efficient. 5 stars plus for this operation and now onto the upstairs bedrooms for cellular shades! Thank you John and MSF&S. Patricia

The shop at home service was such a time saver, and selfishly I did not have to go out shopping, just looked over samples and picked what we liked. Thank you Joe for what you guys do!

We have dogs, and need a runner for the dog's security running down the stairs. We realized the stairs looked so good it needed a runner that was just as nice. A nice oriental pattern maybe? However, we have what I now realize is "pie steps" at the bottom landing - so that meant we could only do non-patterned runner - and the oak treads were too nice to allow that. So, we found Creative Carpet, because they could do the apparently IMPSSIBLE: custom weave a patterned stair runner so it flawlessly meets the pattern at the angles of our stairs! This was in 2011 - I'm writing this now in 2018 (almost 2019) because we're cleaning carpets, and the stair runner has held up so well - you'd never know it was installed 7 years ago! John & Eileen were very easy to work with, design choices, scheduling, custom in-place installation, and we even picked out a hallway runner for the upstairs. We couldn't be happier - even 7 years later! Thanks John & Eileen!

DO NOT UTILIZE. A TRULY WRETCHED BUSINESS…read more We have used Kanters on three occasions. The first two times were fine, which is why we went back a third time. The third time was a disaster and they could not have been less accountable or less accommodating. In short, Kanters sent us the wrong colored LVT flooring, which even if we were willing to accept it, was defective and not capable of being installed. In any event, my wife and I were immediately willing to accept a different color LVT flooring that Kanters had in stock so that our construction was not set back weeks (we still had to pay our contractor for two days of work reserved to install this flooring, which now could not occur). Rather than doing what was necessary to immediately deliver this new LVT flooring, Kanters said it did not have staff to do that but eventually "agreed" to allow my wife and I to do all the manual labor ourselves (picking up 25 boxes weighing 60+ lbs each). Making it almost comical, Kanters had the gall to ask that we also bring back the 25 boxes of wrong colored and defective flooring so that they could get their money back from the manufacturer (which we did). Thus, my wife and I performed a half day of manual labor to correct Kanters' mistake because, apparently, they do not have adequate staff. When we asked for a credit, this is a quote from Brian Kanter: "These type of positions are the reasons that most small business no longer exists in our world. For some reason society has the belief that perfection exists and that a manufacture never makes a defective product or sends the wrong product. I wish that was the case but it's just a fantasy." Mr. Kanter went on to equate us transporting 50 boxes of extremely heavy flooring to the time he had to return a broken TV to Best Buy. In other words, don't expect that what you get will be what you ordered or even correct. In the end, the "credit" they offered was that they were not going to charge us extra for having to pick new carpet to match the different colored flooring (something he admitted they otherwise normally do). I think the moral is shop here at your own risk. If everything goes fine they are a run of the mill flooring company. They hardly answer their phones and take days to respond to emails. But, if things go poorly, you better expect that they will shift the blame to their manufacturer and/or to you. They will not be out of pocket - you will (just as we are).
