I barely pulled up to the curb when the two employees immediately came out to assist me. When all was said and done, they unloaded all of my boxes and loaded the material into bins. It took them 45 minutes to destroy all my stuff, due to the high volume. They methodically and efficiently took care of business. I don't know their names, but the name "Damon" was on my receipt. I was billed for straightening and tightening the mailbox 13 months ago. The house has been vacant, and therefore the mailbox unused. When an inspection occured on the house, the mailbox was notably loose. Upon contacting and providing evidence of the state of the mailbox, I was told that it appears that the mailbox had been hit by a car, and that it would need to be "reconcreted into the ground". I am pretty positive that is what I requested and what was necessary for the initial interaction with ESTES. When I asked them how long the concrete should last, I stopped getting any answers. I am also certain that if they did fix the post the first time correctly, I would not have this issue of it being loose enough for the wind to blow it around. I called the company to speak to the manager or the owner, but have not heard back from anyone. The customer service is basically non-existent, so unless your HOA requires you to use this company, I would steer clear unless you like paying for a band-aid to cover a hemorrhage. They seem to be good at that.

Kudos to Darrin (owner) and his company, Elite. After my son spent two days getting nowhere between…read moreAlaska airlines (who lost my son's suitcase) and American Airlines (who was the last carrier on which he had been rerouted so had the "delayed bag" complaint), while each blamed the other and refused to actively help find and return his bag, I took over on day three to sit on hold, argue with corporate "customer service" reps who each pointed the finger and claimed there was nothing they could do other than wait to see if it showed up. I then tracked down a number of the baggage claim of Alaska at Indy as I suspected his bag was placed on the wrong plane and, as it was tagged to Indy, should end up there ... eventually. It wasn't rocket science, after all. And, voila, the bag was there. Alaska had it for days and did nothing. American had not logged the tag number into the lost bag system and the two carriers didn't communicate. No one called the name and number on the luggage tag either. Alaska agreed to return it and claimed they made arrangements for Elite to pick up the bag at 7:30 last night. But, of course, that would be too easy. I reached out to Elite this morning and Darrin personally answered the phone and asked for 5 minutes to figure out what happened. He gave me his personal cell phone. When I called him back, he had tracked the bag. Alaska had NOT put it in the Elite system for pick up. The bag was also no longer at Alaska - it was now at American. He had his driver pick it up and deliver it to my son at his hotel, on day 4 of his PROFESSIONAL business conference (each day still wearing his travel jeans and tennis shoes and a long sleeved shirt he picked up at Target). But for Darrin taking charge, I'm sure that bag would have kept going back and forth between Alaska and American as each company worked harder to be the most incompetent. Thank you Darrin. The wife and I had purchased a "Litter Robot" a little more than a year ago, when it suddenly stopped working. When I called the company's tech support, I was told that the warranty only covered the box for a year, and that they no longer refurbished or repaired boxes past warranty. The company stated I'd have to purchase a new one, at considerable cost. I refused to spend that much cash again so soon after its purchase, so I started calling around to multiple tech repair companies. About half of the companies I called never bothered to call back, and the other half stated they only worked on phones. Finally I got a response from Ryan of ZCR Technical Solutions, who stated that while he had never worked on a Litter Robot before, he was willing to take a look at it. While he was a little out of our way (Indianapolis to Martinsville), he was willing to travel to any location with a mileage cost. The wife and I chose to pass on having him drive to us, and instead decided to drive to him. I'm more than pleased that we decided to make the drive, as Ryan fixed the issue in a timely manner, and at what I considered to be a VERY reasonable cost. He was friendly, communicative, and kept us up to date on the progress. Aside from Litter Robots, he also works on phones, tablets, laptops, computers, gaming consoles, and more importantly vintage repairs (as long as he can get access to the replacement parts). Money is tight these days, and with the recession, it's only going to get tighter. If you have something you want fixed at a good price, I can't suggest calling him enough.
