I talked to Gene via telephone and when given choices of small, medium and large mailboxes decided on the medium size. He said they would be out the next day to replace it. They did come out the next day and replaced the box, but when I drove past the house the same day noticed that the mailbox was not a medium size but a small. I had left them a check to cover a medium mailbox installation. I called Gene and he told me they replaced the box with the same size mailbox but never offered to refund the difference in cost. I requested the difference in cost to be refunded to me. Reluctantly he agreed to do that (just $5.00!) Today I had to stop at the rental for another reason and examined the mailbox more closely. The top of the box was covered with scratches and the door was slightly dented. I call Gene to tell him how unhappy I was with the service and he told me I didn't have to do business with him and hung up. I suspect an inferior box was used because the home was a rental and he did not think I would notice. Wow! This is clearly a dishonest business.

When I called A-1 Gene's Mail Box Service to get the name of the company they called and let them how much I was charged, they didn't even offer to share in the cost even though they were responsible for the lockout.

I can't speak to all of their resources but we did buy copy paper and it was rather cheap comparatively which is a nice value. I will use them in the future for sending items especially if we need them done quickly or with special considerations.

The girl behind the counter was absolutely a rude little snipe. She kept saying you paid for it and left the bldg...and she said she would not fix the problem. So, I left call PayPal who would help until the transaction was completed, so I called Huntington Bank and stopped payment of $75.08 cost was free...I can't wait to call the district manager of the ups store tomorrow...

Just a heads up, you do need to have a valid ID for anyone signing, which is standard but good to know ahead of time. The notarization fee was $10, which felt reasonable. The whole process was quick and straightforward once it was our turn. It's located in a strip mall with a parking lot, so parking was easy and convenient.

The line was pretty long when I got inside, but I noticed they had many workers so it seemed like it was moving quickly. I noticed they sell cards, I never thought to buy a card at the post office. I waited about 15 minutes before I got to the front. The lady that helped me out was nice, and my transaction was really quick. I sent a package ground and it cost $7.55, she told me that was the cheapest. She pointed out on the receipt where I could track if the package was received, and a survey to fill out.
