The crew was on time, extremely efficicent and communicative. Everyone was very mindful of our neighbors fence, property, roof line and powerlines. Everyone had PPE on and were so incredibly safe when scaling the trees and hedges. Clean up was very thorough. Majority of our fronds and hedge were processed by the chipper and hauled. Our neighbor was so impressed with the crew he also hired them on the spot to take care of his street tree. It is impressive how much green waste we produced that day. Luckily the city picks up yard trimings on the street so his crew broke down anything else we had to sizeable chunks and neatly piled for SJ GreenWaste to pick up. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. I had an appointment and the day of the person was nowhere to be seen. I could not get a hold of Xavier. He finally responded after numerous calls. I have several friends in this business and they said that they at least apologize when they over schedule and things come up. Again, I understand this.
