I called a couple other tree companies but you could feel the difference in the customer service when I talked to Jerry. Payne Tree Care lives up to its name ! Jerry gave me the fairest price but what also sold me was his character. Price is one thing but honestly is priceless. I have used this gauge on every Contractor I have worked with throughout my years and never have been disappointed. Quality of work was excellent as well as communication. This is why Payne Tree Care gets 5 Stars as well as the owner Jerry ! Kudos and looking forward to sending you more business ! Lastly... Cost: $1,450.00 to remove this huge branch, chip it up and clean the area. If you do use Payne Tree Care understand each project cost differs due to accessibility, height of trimming, removal and liabilities of possible damage of other structures during the process. I understood this but I'm giving you a tip on understanding how the contractor comes up with their bids sometimes.

Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. Monster came out quickly to do a project review and provided an estimate the next day. I got a good vibe from their estimator. They were booked out a week, but they came earlier than we expected (someone else cancelled) so it was done quickly. Our pittosporum looks great, when usually it just looks messy. They trimmed all the low branches and up the trunks of the main stems. It gives the tree a nice shape and less gunk dropping on the patio. They trimmed it back on one side so that our crepe myrtle has more space to flourish. Monster also trimmed our persimmon which now looks so much better/healthier. And they shaved the neighbors trees up our back fence line. That looked like an impossible task, but they did it! The cost was reasonable, and they did good work. They had us come out to review at the end of the job and they made a few extra cuts at our request, and gave us no attitude.

They took their time to remove dead wood areas and shape the larger trees to comply with city regulations but still retain shape and shade. Same was done with the shrubs/trees in the backyard, improving spacing from the house and reducing height to not block solar panels. All debris was removed and ground up in their wood chipper.
