The reviews are all great for a reason, Ali is extremely nice and reasonable! He patched the outer shell and water proof lining all for $45 and it looks awesome. Ali did an amazing job on two blazers for me! One was about three sizes too big and he altered it to make it look like it was made for me. The other was a touch too small... and again now fits me like it was made for me. His craft is beautiful and his attention to detail is impeccable. I can't say enough good things. Absolutely exceptional and the BEST for wedding gown alterations! Due to a customs issue, both my…read morewedding ceremony and reception dresses arrived only 4 weeks before the wedding and both dresses required a lot of work. I had heard good things about Chayban and decided to see if they could pull off a miracle. Truly, they went above and beyond! The attention to detail and the level of execution were superb, which given the time constraints is all the more impressive. The reception dress required a complete redesign of the top. They took my idea and made it look like the dress was designed that way. Which again, is all the more impressive given that they only had four weeks to pull it off. I will be using them for all of my alternations and tailoring needs and I can't recommend them enough!

It fit well through my ribs and chest, but needed to be taken in around the hips and lower part of the dress, as well as shortened. I called ahead, and they told me to come in with no problem. They had me try the dress on, carefully pinned and marked everything, and explained that it would be ready in about a week. When I picked it up, the alterations were beautifully done. After getting home, I realized there was one small thing I wanted to adjust about the way the bottom of the dress was laying. I called, and they immediately told me to bring it back whenever was convenient. They fixed it for me while I waited, and I was so impressed by how thorough they were. They had me try it on multiple times, making little tweaks until it fit absolutely perfectly. They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, and they didn't even charge me for the additional adjustment. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely wanted to make sure I left happy with the final result. The dress fits like it was made for me! I couldn't be happier with their work and will absolutely be coming back the next time I need something tailored. Highly recommend!

I was warned about Davids…read moreBridal, where I purchased this gown, that they would charge exorbitant rates, so i tried to find another tailor. I was told by this tailor and his wife that yes they could absolutely do what I wanted done to the gown (high/low look), and a couple minor adjustments, to the tune of 334.00$. I agreed thinking Davids would have been more, and was considering myself lucky to have found the right shop. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was called back to the shop three weeks later, (32 days before my wedding), to be told that aaaaa no, they couldn't actually do what they said they could. It's too labor intensive. I panicked at this point with my wedding so close, and called Davids bridal to beg their forgiveness and fix my dress in time. They agreed to my immense relief and are altering my dress as I write this. Turns out Collana's tailor cut far to much of the tulle off the underskirt of my dress, and really messed it up. I was shown the problems they created by the seamstresses at Davids and was told to demand my money back. Thank god they can fix it enough to be wearable. Beware of using this tailor, and if you do...best of luck to you, which was his parting words to me
