When I first walked in it felt like a coffee shop. The baristas had their heads down working, the light was soft, and the music was just loud enough to hear. Not only that, but I was served right away. The barista that served me was very kind and immediately started making my drink. I received my drink very quickly and it tasted fantastic. It was a hot chocolate and it made me feel like I was home as a child during winter. It was one of the best experiences I've had at a coffee shop. read more

I'm from SoCal where we gave TONS of amazing independent coffee houses so I'm pretty picky on coffee. I have to say that I LOVE the coffee here. Their vanilla honey lattes are fantastic. On top of that, the staff is so friendly and made me feel welcomed. Shout out to Ava and Magenta..was impressed to walk in and get a "good morning Rich". This place is incredible! It's hard to find a GOOD Vanilla Chai Latte that isn't all milk. Well, Jeremiah's does it RIGHT. They use a house mix of their own and NOT a syrup...makes a HUGE difference. The drink actually has taste instead of just milk. The shop is awesome...located in a renovated old corner storefront on the square of downtown Auburn...lots of windows. A comfortable atmosphere. First time visiting Jeremiah's was today (Christmas Eve 2018). He had a nice open house set up with lots of delightful treats and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. After speaking to Jeremiah to inquire about the open house he made a trip over to our table to introduce himself to my mother and I. Very nice and humble man that knew everyone in the shop. The kind of place in a small town where you can grab a drink with a friend or stay and work or read all day. I live in North Carolina now but when home in Indiana I will be sure and make a trip out to grab a cup of coffee and say hi! read more

First visit of what will be more! This has a great atmosphere of good vibes. Just give me black coffee...and how great is this take out cup?!?! It's corrugated cardboard and the lid is also well designed. Love it! I got this oatmeal cookie with chips and craisans which was super yum and a crumb cake muffin. If you're going to do white sugar, white Four and butter...this is your ticket to deliciousness. The very friendly clerk did everything is made there (bonus points). Since I was going on a road trip, I decided to get both!! I want to come back and just hang out with a friend or my computer. It's a wonderful place on the square. read more

I've been to 15 states so far and tried some of the "top" coffee shops in each city we visited. Jerimah's is still one of my favorites. They have the best house blend coffee and their pumpkin spice latte is my all time favorite. In addition to excellent coffee they have amazing little macaroons and other desserts. I am a frequent customer at Jeremiah's. Jeremiah and all the employees are so welcoming. Not only is the coffee fantastic, they have delicious baked goods, lunch items and desserts in the evenings on the weekends. I have not had anything from the new lunch menu, but I have heard wonderful things about it. Besides great coffee, I am a huge fan of the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They are huge and buttery. The desserts on the weekends are awesome! The Chocolate Pots de Creme is one of my favorites. Jeremiah's is also a great place to just hang out. I know my parents love this place and are frequent visitors, so hope my experience was an aberration. I ordered a medium chai tea latte to go, without whipped cream. It was made first as a small size instead, which staff quickly corrected so no problem there. The drink itself though was so gratuitously sweet that I struggled to get through small sips (I understand that some people like intensely sweet drinks, but they aren't my taste); this issue was exacerbated by the addition of whipped cream - which I had specifically told them NOT to add. The temperature of the drink was also only slightly above lukewarm. I was willing to look past those issues, though, until I got to the bottom of the drink and encountered a sludge of undissolved powder (they apparently use a powder mix for their chai) - this gritty sludge rendered the last 3/4" of my drink undrinkable. read more

Beyond impressed. I had been waiting to go to Jeremiah's, and I'm so glad I finally did. The experience was wonderful. Not only does Jeremiah's serve amazing coffee/food, but their service was fantastic as well. The lady who took my order and made my mocha espresso was super friendly and passionate about her job. She was very knowledgable about the menu items, and informed me everything is local and make in-house. The decor is nice, as it has that small town coffee shop feel which is a perfect hang out zone to sit down and chat with friends. I loved my drink, and would gladly come here anytime over Starbucks. Jeremiah's is as good as it gets indeed. The best place by far for coffees in Auburn, IN and wide surroundings (and I have not missed many). Coming from the Netherlands each year for the annual ACD reunion around Labor Day, I was dismayed that Auburn did not seem to have really good espresso bars, until I discovered Jeremiah's Brewed Awakenings. Nice cookies too. I am so sad that I am going to miss it this year (sorry Jeremiah staff, nothing to do with you), but I sure will be back next year and visit their new location. read more

Every time I come in everyone is very polite and the coffee is always amazing. There are board games and art work on display, the prices are great and it's always awesome to support smaller businesses especially since now there are so many large businesses that are putting everyone else out of business.
