Tayler took our order, and in my wife's words: "Every Starbucks should have a Tayler". She was patient, knowledgeable, and even gave us some fantastic recommendations (adding siracha to the spinach wrap was something I never knew I needed). It's important to recognize people going above and beyond, and Tayler deserves all of the flowers! If we are ever back in Auburn again, we'll be stopping by!

(Their website is heavily biased towards their special occasion cakes, but they have a website. Not that many places in Auburn can say that.) I chose a vanilla cupcake with a strawberry frosting on top while my cupcake buddy selected the one affectionately known by the bakers as "death by chocolate." Chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting all throughout. I was pleasantly pleased to see that my cupcake had a delicious filling in the middle, as well. I've never had such a fancy, and may I add decadent, cupcake before. It was tough to wait until we were home to eat them, but once they hit our mouths they were all gone in (practically) one quick bite. Laurie, the owner was there, along with one of her employees. Customer service was prompt and friendly (and patient!! It took us a while to make up our minds; the choices all looked so yummy). Next time I don't think I'll be able to walk out of there without trying one of the mini cheesecakes. I hope others start reviewing this business, so I don't have to eat my way through reviewing each flavor of cupcake on my own! Upscale atmosphere but they didn't turn me away when I wanted to work on my laptop so points for that!!. I didn't go upstairs but it's possible they have a more casual dining atmosphere there. I had the prime rib vegetable soup and didn't send it back but it was not edible. It was quite heavy with grease. It had tons of potential but something went awry there. I also had the black and bleu salad with beef tips. It was quite good but had way too much dressing for me I should have ordered the dressing on the side anyway so that's on me. The flavor was great! The beef tips had a lot of flavor. I asked for them to be rare to medium rare and they came out medium which was fine I guess. If I were ordering a steak and it came out that way I would have had them redo it. But steak tips are hard to get right and get out to the table while still pink. I enjoyed that salad. Overall the food was excellent. Side note: The attire is more geared toward suits and dresses. But the staff treated every guest very well. I'd definitely return.
