It was our first time here and we were all very pleased with the food and service as well. 2 in our party ordered burgers and they were huge. Literally, my daughter and I could have shared. Another had a salad with crawfish and homemade ranch dressing. The fourth in our group had a BLT and he said it was great. We also shared an order of potato skins that were equally as good. 9er's is one of the best American restaurants out there! First of all, let's talk about the atmosphere. It's always homely, casual, and peaceful. They do get busy frequently, but I have never been bothered by it, and neither has any of my friends. Second of all, customer service. Super friendly. I believe there is a worker, Caucasian with dark brown hair, but I don't know his name , and he is by far, one of the most friendliest cashiers I have ever met! He seems to be friends with almost all the customers. I didn't see him get angry or rude, or even show subtle signs of annoyance. The other cashiers there are young, but not silly. Their mature, and extremely reasonable. I ordered their Chicken Fried Chicken, and asked for no mashed potatoes and then halfway through my meal, my son asked for some, and I went back and asked, and they gave it for free, saying that it would have been part of my meal anyway. I was truly shocked. Third, their food. Such a large variety. When I came in, I realized their menu was gargantuan. I couldn't believe how diverse and extensive it was. There was at least 45 items on the menu. Oh and that's just their lunch and dinner menu. Not their breakfast menu, which is ponderous too. Ok, but for the dinner and lunch menu, everything is priced cheaply. Plus, even if you are on a extremely strict budget, almost all the items there would be perfect for you, whether you be a vegetarian or not. Now, one of my favorite items is the Chicken Fried Steak. It's a gargantuan, fresh steak coated with flavorful seasoned flour and pan friend. It's a really nice portion for the price you would pay. Besides this, it comes with mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day. That's just the basic meal. The combo comes with more, of course. Well, these three aspects obviously prove why this is my favorite restaurant. Kudos to the employees and managers there, they have done a fabulous job, and I will be coming back! read more

Had lunch here with a friend. Atmosphere was decent but TVs are situated way too high. The bathrooms were very crowded. The mini booths are very uncomfortable. The food was overpriced and was not as good as Whataburger. The staff however was very friendly. Will never be back. read more

We go to 9'ers all the time. On Sunday we decided to bring some friends with us after church. We walked in the manager was on the phone, there were atleast and I'm not exaggerating 7- 9 tables dirty that no one was cleaning. When I asked about it they said they had a new busser, he was in the back by the way. My reaction was it didn't look like they had anyone at all. I have been in customer service my whole life and this was just sick. Manager was just chit chatting on the phone when he should have been running the restaurant. He should have been cleaning tables himself. We decided to turn around and go somewhere else. I do want to say that this restaurant is usually spot on, which is why it was such a let down. Hit or miss. Wouldn't recommend the seafood platter, over fried shrimp, soggy fried fish, cold soggy fried, fried crawfish were fine. Burgers are typically good. Breakfast is not consistent. I ordered a steak and sweet potato fries. I ordered the steak med rare and got well done with a burnt taste. The sweets were soggy and kind of gross. All of it was cold. Worth the 30 minute wait to get my food? Definitely not. When they did call my number, I had to hunt down my food because they packaged the dine in order to go. Once I found my food, they had taken my drink from my table. Two of us visited here in January. I ordered the grilled chicken platter with the standard rice and veggies. The chicken was decent enough. The veggies were obviously frozen and no seasoning at all. Rice was also bland. I resorted to putting ketchup and hot sauce on just about all of it to make it taste better. The other person ordered the Tex burger with onion rings. When we sent the burger back the cooks over poured blue cheese dressing on it making it almost inedible. I got my second door dash delivered, Saturday morning breakfast delivery today, and like my first, it was AWESOME!!!!! I got the eggs Benedict (again) because it was so good the first time I woke up craving it. The first time I tried delivery from 9er's, I was really in the mood for a big, classic breakfast without using every pot and pan in my house and having a big clean up. They did not disappoint!!! It's a perfect portion of perfectly cooked everything. I always get my kids the 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and hash brown plates. Everyone in my house likes their eggs cooked differently, and 9er's gets it right every time. It's not even remotely greasy or fake tasting like Denny's or ihop.
