I've finally had it and shopped for a different internet provider, except we only have AT&T and Spectrum. AT&T Fiber wasn't available in my area. It wasn't until reading up on local companies, that I discovered Net NV. I wasn't keen on wireless since I am used to wired connections and I needed a stable connection, but I was at my limit and decided to try them out. Boy, am I glad I did. I made an appointment late in the night, and they contacted me in the morning saying that they were able to come the day of since they had a spot open. I wanted the 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps internet service level, but the technician mentioned it depends on the line of sight to their towers so he let me know what was available after he got down from the roof. Turns out my location was within the range and I was able to get what I requested, yay! It is $89 a month for my internet service level. The Setup Fee was $99 dollars. Payment can be made online through their portal. Friendly communication, service, and great staff. Switch if you can! Also, you can see the status of their services at https://netnv.statuspage.io/

I stopped in Spectrum to turn in some equipment…read more There was an older man in front of us, talking to the Spectrum Employee (a young man with a large neck tattoo). The employee was yelling at the old man about an account issue. The customer was clearly unable to articulate the technical issue, and the employee started yelling at him and said, "I'm not going to go over this with you again", repeatedly and told him to leave the store and to come back with someone who could talk about the account. It was sad to watch this, and I felt terrible for the old man. No matter what the issue was, the employee should not have berated him or yelled at him. This was not a good experience at Spectrum.

I made mine for after lunch since everyone is happier after a bite. Lol. This is my Spectrum store of choice although I live closer to the Los Altos/Disc store. The customer service is better here than the other stores I have been to. Dion helped me with my kids phones and I'm looking forward to coming back to upgrade mine when the new Galaxy comes out next month. I hope either he or Elijah help me with that. My most recent visit was with Elijah. I felt bad that there were only two of them, but the line was out the door. While Elijah got me set up with my new Iphone purchase, I was able to help an older gentleman pay his bill on their kiosk behind me, so he didn't have to queue into the line. Thank goodness after about an hour being in there two more people came through the doors to help the other customers. I'm happy with my purchase and the customer service I receive at this store. I needed to run by the Charter Store in Smithridge to return a piece of equipment. This place is a…read morebit of a joke. I think they are dealing with a lot of mismanagement. When you walk in the store is divided into sections with the emphasis on their mobile phones. Services like Internet, cable TV and related are the other end of the store. You sign in on a (filthy, even by pre-COVID standards) touch screen that was so dirty I felt like I needed to wash my hands after interacting with it. When you finally got to talk to someone they were friendly enough and tried to help but it was going to be over a 2 hour wait time just to return my Internet device. I ended up going to the UPS store to do this. It's free to drop off there - just be sure you keep your receipt. It took Charter over a week to realize the device was returned and credit the account back. Charter and companies like that get away with the lack of customer service because there isn't a lot of competition. WIth 5G and high speed satellite Internet coming online that is about to change. It will be interesting to see if that finally get's them to fix their customer service issues.

They said they put it through. Got a big bill in April. Called in April. Found out that they did not set it up. Discussed setting it up. Picked new channels and everything. Got a whopping bill in May. Called again. Said that they should have told you that I had to pick up a new modem to change the plan for the TV channels. Never was told this before.
