This location in Mashpee is clean, welcoming, and has great food and drink at reasonable prices! We have been to several 99 locations and this one stands out as one of the best. Visited the 99 Restaurants for the first time last night, and it was a great experience! The atmosphere is laid-back, family-friendly, and comfortable. It feels like a classic American bar and grill, and the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, quick, and checked in often without being overbearing. I tried the sirloin tips, and they were cooked perfectly--tender and flavorful. They come with your choice of sides, and I went with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, just how I like them, and the broccoli had a nice crispness. We also ordered the boneless buffalo wings, which had a great kick and weren't overly breaded. Very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food! We left feeling full and satisfied without breaking the bank. read more

Always consistently good food. Above average quality for a chain. Friendly staff. Good for family dinners. Nice to have a local feel in each one with pics of HS sports teams on the walls. Take out family meals are the way to go for when friends and family come to the house. Curb side pick up with Kim is great! Balsamic chicken and steak family deals with two sides and salads are worth the money. Inside the salmon dinner and fiesta bowls are awesome and wraps are good too. Desserts a must, ice cream sandwiches free to kids with kid menu. Brownie fudge Sundaes are fire! My favorite is the Chicken parm is fantastic but I'm on a diet... so salmon, salmon, salmon. The calories are on the menu so it makes it easy to eat wisely there and still be full.Chicken Parm, French Onion Soup, Boneless Buffalo Wings, baked Scallops, fish tacos fried or baked... all really good. Stopped in for my favorite smothered steak tips, always busy but only a 5 min wait. Service was wonderful. Unfortunately my waitress (apparently) misheard my request for med rare and instead brought med well On inquiring about my tips the wonderfully sweet server sent over the mgr Stacy to the rescue! Immediately offered to reduce my bill or send out a replacement order (explaining the order error) also asked if we had any use for the bad tips which would be otherwise tossed ,,, so of course asked for a doggy bag) I can't tell you how delightful this experience was despite me waiting for a new order of food. In particular Stacy was a shoutout of courtesy and professionalism. We will continue to visit and love pub. 99! read more

I ordered the baked haddock, the fish was still raw , the mashed potatoes where terrible they tasted just like instant from a box , so very disappointed this is the second time eating there and got really bad meal will not go back again this was at the centerville Massachusetts location . read more

My parents and 2 kids dined here on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly busy. My only complaints were that 5 of us were squeezed into a booth (my kids are 21 and 15, so not small) and our food didn't come out at the same time. It seemed we were waiting for quite a while before everyone was served their dinner. I understand they were most likely short staffed so it wasn't a big deal. My son ordered the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and didn't like it...he said the blue cheese crumbles on top overpowered the whole dish, even after scaping them off. Our waitress Penny was great about it and let us know which other meals wouldn't take too long to cook. He chose a chicken sandwich and it was brought to the table very quickly. Best 99 I've been to. Rory, Ashely & Kris are always on top of everything at the bar. Great bartenders. Staff working at bar and tables have been there for a while and service is always top notch. The 99 bar apps and specials are hard to beat. Great deals and bud selects for $2.49 is a great deal Sliced sirloin is always cooked perfectly, their chicken parm is underrated, and they do a great burger. A favorite go to spot multiple times a week for a drink or bite to eat. read more

just thought a nice simple dinner out after a long day...what a nauseating dissappointment. First of all the music was loud and really not restaurant background music... More like fast lane driving music that you couldnt quite hear but it just was there blaring in the side of your head. the drink was fine but when the meal came the potatoes were watery, chicken just ok and my husbands fish tacos were hardly even worth eating. the waitress was ok but not very attentive, though she might just have her tables too scattered. Mainly, none of the pieces fit together for a decent meal.. mostly the music... whoever chooses that needs to be fired... !im really not usually all that difficult, but im home now and my head is still hurting from overload. We didnt finish our meal to get out of there. will not be back.. many better choices . read more

The 99 in Mashpee is the worst location the 99 has. Their beverage manager (Anthony) doesn't know what he is doing and seems constantly frazzled and confused as to what he is supposed to be doing. The bartenders all make the drinks differently, none of which are good. The food comes out burnt or overdone every time. Covid really took a toll on this place apparently (and thats just me offering them an excuse). I strongly recommend you try Bobby Byrnes if you are looking for a fun night out at the Mashpee commons. My time at the 99 was miserable. Our family evening turned into a disaster. Burnt shrimp, dried chicken and steak, the whole nine yards. Our server was terrible and i think she should seriously consider quitting. I had to get up and get my own straws because our dogshit waiter couldn't. The entire experience was very traumatizing and i'm scared to eat at another 99. LOWKEY MCDONALDS IS BETTER. ***Update: my stomach is gonna explode and I completely destroyed the 99 bathroom and did not flush. good luck unclogging the toilet whoever does their maintenance. read more

Grabbed a burger and beer. Staff was excellent food was good. Our waitress was great, fast and efficient service. Also nice happy hour if you hit the bar vice table service. If your expecting some upscale culinary delight man you took a very wrong turn. It's a chain restaurant with good prices and standard fair. Would go again for a cold one. read more

I have been to the 99 in Centerville a number of times and while it is not "haute cuisine" the food is standard, well prepared and served fast and inexpensively. Last night, thinking all of the regular places we would go would be mobbed we decided to call our friend Alison and told her to meet us at the 99 in Mashpee with her boys. There was a 30 minute wait, but not a problem as the kids busied themselves with phone games and we chatted. We were shown to our seats and ordered drinks and boneless buffalo wings (with ranch instead of blue cheese) and nachos to start. The drinks came and 20 minutes or so later the nachos arrived. They were not hot at all, even after the server warning us about how hot they were and giving us a pot holder if we needed to move the dish. The cheese had already firmed back up after melting and the lettuce on the top was still fresh and crisp. No sign of the boneless buffalo wings. The wings came out 10 minutes later, also cold, with bleu cheese dressing and no ranch. I asked for another beer and for some ranch dressing and the server said "oh yes.. ranch", before stopping at the next table to take their orders. The ranch finally arrived several minutes later and by that time, any semblance of warmth that the wings had was totally gone. We complained about the temp of the food and the server offered to "comp" them, throwing the kitchen staff under the bus for not being up to the busy night they were having. We ordered for dinner, 2 different salads, both supposed to have grilled chicken on them, a fried scallop plate, a kids' chicken fingers with fries and a kids' burger with fries. We asked for the burger to be cooked medium and the server said that the kitchen usually cooks kid's burgers well done. We asked for it medium or at least not well done. Here's what we got: one salad with grilled chicken on it, and one without. a seriously overcooked burger, standard (cold) chicken fingers and a reasonably good plate of scallops and fries. We complained about the burger and the lack of chicken on one of the salads and the server "comped" those. As one of the kids had a birthday a couple of days ago, my husband had asked the hostess to organize brownie sundaes for the kids and apple crisps for the adults without asking in front of the kids. We waited for 20 minutes after dinner had been cleared away for the desserts and as it was nigh on 10pm by this time (we got there at 7), my husband finally said "wheels up" and we were leaving without the dessert. We stopped at the hostess station, said goodbye to our friend and her kids and had a chat with the hostess. Just as we started talking to her, the desserts finally came out and when they saw us at the hostess station they dropped them on a table near the hostess station and the wait staff began to eat them, one of whom said "they were in a rush". That did it for me. "We were not in a rush" we were tired of waiting!!" The manager came over and offered his apology and a "please come back" offering of a $25 gift card. We paid our bill and left wondering why in the world we would ever come back here? I may use the gift card at the Centerville location as that is usually an easy lunch or dinner. The folks at the Mashpee location do not know what they are doing. The manager, Tim, has his hands full with that crowd of careless, haphazard and disinterested employees. Today we decided to go to lunch here and let me tell you Peggy was phenomenal! My son whose only two decided to run and be loud but she was so sweet and kind. She also had the cook cut my sons food which was very nice and gave me one less thing to do! Peggy you get an A+++ from my family and I. We will definitely be back just to see her! read more

My friend and I had to wait 40 MINUTES FOR A CHICKEN DISH AND AN ORDER OF A COOKIE SKILLET! I literally had to go up to the manager after those 40 minutes to ask where our food was and they said the chicken was JUST coming out of the oven! A waitress dropped a plastic cup on the ground and at least 7 people who worked there walked right by it several times without picking it up. It was still there when we left. Stopped in Christmas eve, they are closing early but, I was able to get take out. This was my first time here, and because it is a chain, It's something that I am not really into however; tonight, I did not feel like cooking. What is kind of cool, is their entire menu is TAKE OUT, as well as, dine in. LOVE IT !! They have a large menu with a good selection of seafood. The food here is kind of like a higher end TGIFridays with a lesser amount of fried foods. Lots of grilled items, flatbreads, wraps/salads & steak/chicken/fish choices, as well as bar apps. I can not give them more than 3 stars because I only got take out, but .... the staff was super friendly and my food was prepared in a decent amount of time. Prices range from 7.99 to 15$ and they really do have a decent menu. As far as my takeout was concerned, everything was quite good and affordable. Ill be back to try dine in, then I can fully review. Unfortunately, we didn't even make it to get our orders taken. We waited for about 20 minutes and no one came by to take our order or ask for drinks, despite other nearby tables being serviced. i recently went to this 99's with my friends and the service was great. But the food not so much. i got a hot buttered lobster roll, the roll was completely doused in butter and soggy breaking part when i tried to pick it up to eat and the lobster was very cold!! One of my friends had got steak and when it came out it was very under cooked and was grey!!! Another one of my friends garlic chicken Parmesan on mac & cheese and the pasta was hard in some spots and the chicken was slimy at the bottom. Most of the sides we had got were pretty cold too. After we all had digested the food started to disagree with all of us and we started feeling crappy and were having bathroom issues. Most likely will NOT return!! read more

I went to the 99 in Mashpee last Friday and ordered the $9.99 Country Chicken Dinner along with my Dad and both dinners were fantastic! A great portion of chicken & sides and a biscuit. So, for my friend's birthday dinner tonight I decided to get dinners to go and ordered another of the Country Chicken Dinner. Well, compared to our dinners on Friday the chicken and sides were less than half the size. Spoke to the manager and said how dissatisfied I was and that the portions were the size of what was left over on Friday. The response "oh well". They gave us a brand new server ( he was nice).. did not have 1/4 of the drinks or food we wanted to order. 6 out of 9 ppl got their food and 2 of us had to wait 15 min and 1 of us more . I had the braised short ribs with two sides. It was the worst take-out meal I have ever had and I'm 78 years old! The meat tasted flat and my second side (mashed potatoes) was smashed under the meat. I tried calling for take out but the number was busy all night so I had to dine in. I sat at the bar the service was a little slow but friendly bartenders and very polite. I ordered a margarita that was really good. They remolded since last time I was dining in and really enjoyed the new changes. The restaurant was very lively and open which made the dining experience delightful. I was disappointed by the menu change. I've always enjoyed the chicken broccoli alfredo pene and make a special trip for this dinner. Instead I got pene with red sauce, chicken and sausage which was alright. The cheese melted on top was too much but the garlic bread and sausage was really good. Overall I enjoyed the service and the new atmosphere. I wish more craft beer was on tap besides Sam Adams, and the chicken broccoli alfredo was back for good. read more
