    Steak and eggs

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint. Started with a hot grilled coffee cake and banana muffin which was perfect. My wife had the steak and eggs which was done exactly the way she likes it. Steak barely medium and the egg sunny side up. She has food allergies so the cook made home fries especially just for her. I had french toast with fresh bananas with plenty of confection sugar and butter. I absolutely loved it! Service was good. She was attentive even while clearly the only waitress on and business was steady. Only disappointment was the coffee. Typical New England blend blah coffee. With Cape Cod Coffee right down the road, right not try the best local roaster around. We will absolutely go back!

great, affordable options for breakfast and lunch. Be prepared to wait up to 30-45 minutes on weekend mornings, but worth it for an always good, traditional breakfast. For breakfast, their breakfast sandwiches, omelettes and waffle with fruit are all great. The poppy bagel mcnagle is good and different. Lunch; try the stuffed quahog. Best on cape and reasonably priced. The clam chowder also has a great reputation. Ultimate chicken sandwich is delicious with the house dressing.

Marshland is a quintessential hometown diner in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod just off Cotuit road. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! It's a stop for locals which always says a lot about a business! So if you're in the area definitely stop in!

I was brought here for dinner by friends of mine who live locally in the area (I was visiting from Los Angeles). They said that the food had a home-cooked flavor to it. The food did not disappoint! I had one of the specials on the menu for a Friday night: fried salmon fillet in lemon, butter and capers sauce. I also selected the baked potato and fresh greens beans as sides. The salmon was lightly pan fried, perfectly salted, and the lemon butter sauce was nicely drizzled on the salmon; it wasn't drenched in sauce, which would have ruined the dish. My friend had the chicken and broccoli with penne, which was full of cheesy flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. Her husband ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a HUGE popover. The prime rib cut was exactly as he ordered it, and it was a very thick slice to boot. All of these dishes were more than any of us could finish as the portions are quite large. We packed half of everything to go. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant with hints of romantic ambiance, Marshland Too isn't the place. However, if you're wanting very tasty food with a home-cooked flair, and you don't mind the diner environment, then I highly recommend the place. Ask for Julie; she was our server. She's super friendly and attentive all around!

We were certainly hoping for more given the Yelp reviews, but this place is just plain average. The decor is basic, the menu is classic continental, heavy on seafood. We went for classics, Bacon Cheddar Burger, Chicken Tenders with Onion Rings, Clam Chowda and the dish they are "famous for", their "World Famous Stuffed Quahog". Everything was mediocre except the onion rings which were a bit above average. The chowder as overly thick and for being their claim fame, the quahog was nothing special. The service was fair. The bottom line, there are much better places to eat on the Cape.

Ok place, clean and neat. Football squares, keno. Service can be slow depending on who's working. Plenty of parking.

If you're getting takeout, I would recommend checking your meal before leaving. When I called about the missing sides, the workers on the phone were apologetic and kind, but their only solution was for us to come pick up the sides they had forgotten. We had already gotten home (15 minutes away), so that wasn't going to happen. The $50 worth of food, not including tip, ended up being mediocre without the sides. We will end up going back because the service, food, and drinks are usually great, but we were disappointed tonight.

I got the mac and cheese with broccoli mixed in and a side of hot sauce. REALLY creamy and cheesy. quite rich, tasty, filling (i brought half to go). not the BEST mac because i'm a mac snob but Id give it a solid 7/10. -1 cuz i hate ritz topping but i should have just order without it. my bf got the blackened salmon tacos 6.5/10. decent enough. not the best, not the worst. side of onion rings slapped too, 8/10. Id come back for the ambiance and service. bar is cool, pool table in the back and live music makes all the difference.

It did take time also to be asked for our drink/food order but once our server came around she was very nice and apologetic for the wait. We were able to get an app quicker than the food since we ordered fried pickles as that was the quickest item to get out to us. The fried pickles were thickly sliced with the perfect amount of breaded batter and the dipping sauce was perfect. It's sort of a metric. If you mess up clam chowder in Massachusetts, it does not instill a lot of confidence. Not exaggerating when I say that this might have been the worst chowder I've had in a while. Tasted like flour paste and cracked black pepper. It actually had clams in it but could not taste what with the thick flour gloop. Got a BBQ burger. Should be easy. I've honestly gotten better burgers at Wendy's. Ordered medium rare, came well done and so completely saturated, covered in bottled BBQ sauce it was ridiculous. Drenched. Did not want to eat but was hungry. And it was rough. Man, this was really bad. Will give them credit for a cool atmosphere. New, shiny sports bar decor. Now they need the food to match.
