As a huge Marshland fan, I appreciate this additional location. They have a lot of offerings and tasty choices. My only repeated experience is that omelets are not proportional. Their ingredients are hidden and scarce with an overwhelming amount of egg. Scrambled, poached and done more simply prove to complement the spectrum of the plate. They have great baked goods and guests MUST try the sourdough toast and ask for their raspberry butter. read more

We stopped into Marshland Too for breakfast and had a great experience. Orianna took excellent care of us, Keeping the coffees topped up and the pace relaxed. My husband ordered the Boardwalk Eggs and loved every bite. I went for the blueberry pancakes with a side of sausage, and they were outstanding -- packed with blueberries inside and sprinkled with even more on top. The sausages were delicious, and the pure maple syrup made everything even better. A hearty, satisfying breakfast all around. read more

The menu is reliable just good food. Even though they only serve prime rib a couple times a week! You can get the house specialty every night YANKEE POT ROAST whipped potato or how you want it and a vegetable. Water is my preferred choice but their ice tea is good also. read more

Semi-regular. Go there two-three times a month.went yesterday sat at the bar as usual. Got there around 3:pm, and ordered mic light ,bud and Jameson on the rocks.(still waiting on the Jameson). My wife and I proceeded to Waite till 4:pm to order dinner. Had menus in front of us for a good 1/2 waiting and trying to order our dinner.before someone asked. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. Came out well done .the mashed potatoes were ice cold. Was not once asked how the food was. Could not get the attention of the three bartenders on duty. Our plates were left in front of us for a 1/2 hour and we were sitting at the bar. Never asked if we wanted another round,never asked how the food was. The bartender on duty begrudgingly gave us the bill. I was asked if I would like baked or mashed potatoes I chose baked. Zucchini or butternut squash. I chose butternut. The meals arrived quickly. I got my casserole with mashed potatoes and zucchini. Went here on a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint. Started with a hot grilled coffee cake and banana muffin which was perfect. My wife had the steak and eggs which was done exactly the way she likes it. Steak barely medium and the egg sunny side up. She has food allergies so the cook made home fries especially just for her. I had french toast with fresh bananas with plenty of confection sugar and butter. I absolutely loved it! Service was good. We were burnt out on seafood from our coastal road trip so searched out for homestyle dinner les, which are few and far between! Rainy day so the website advertised Tuesday special of chicken n dumplings sounded just right. Made the trek from the Falmouth Holiday Inn only to learn they'd run out of chicken and dumplings minutes before. Bummer! I ended up ordering a bowl of soup of the day which was vegetable beef and rice soup and asked for a small side salad. I ended up with a tiny cup of soup and huge salad with house dressing. My husband ordered a cheeseburger meal. The free slice of warm cornbread while waiting on our meals was good. Our meals were o.k, not really worth the drive from where we were staying but if we stay closer to a Marshland location again we wouldn't hesitate to try other items there. I've only been here for breakfast. The food and service are great. It is a little on the pricey side. Try some of the breakfast meals with lobster, they're all good. Food is fresh and cooked correctly to order. My only real gripe with the place is the prices. read more

I was brought here for dinner by friends of mine who live locally in the area (I was visiting from Los Angeles). They said that the food had a home-cooked flavor to it. The food did not disappoint! I had one of the specials on the menu for a Friday night: fried salmon fillet in lemon, butter and capers sauce. I also selected the baked potato and fresh greens beans as sides. The salmon was lightly pan fried, perfectly salted, and the lemon butter sauce was nicely drizzled on the salmon; it wasn't drenched in sauce, which would have ruined the dish. My friend had the chicken and broccoli with penne, which was full of cheesy flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. Her husband ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a HUGE popover. The prime rib cut was exactly as he ordered it, and it was a very thick slice to boot. All of these dishes were more than any of us could finish as the portions are quite large. We packed half of everything to go. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant with hints of romantic ambiance, Marshland Too isn't the place. However, if you're wanting very tasty food with a home-cooked flair, and you don't mind the diner environment, then I highly recommend the place. Ask for Julie; she was our server. Went for dinner and sat in the bar section. The turkey soup was good, fairly salty but not unexpected. I remembered the stuffed quahog from the original Marshland was delicious, this was awful, extremely dry, no taste or sign of a clam, maybe some sausage. I won't return. read more

We were certainly hoping for more given the Yelp reviews, but this place is just plain average. The decor is basic, the menu is classic continental, heavy on seafood. We went for classics, Bacon Cheddar Burger, Chicken Tenders with Onion Rings, Clam Chowda and the dish they are "famous for", their "World Famous Stuffed Quahog". Everything was mediocre except the onion rings which were a bit above average. The chowder as overly thick and for being their claim fame, the quahog was nothing special. The service was fair. I always enjoy everything I order here every time without fail! The staff is great, the booths are uber-comfy and the portions are generous. The Eggs Benedict are the best I have ever had--aside from the ones I make at home of course--and they have a large option for the milk glass which is a perfect amount for the meal. They also have a full dinner menu with burgers, steaks, and seafood, including award winning Quahogs. Used to love this place. Food was great, they had awesome bartenders including Joe. They always had a good crowd in there, everyone getting a long having a good time with their $2 coors draft.... The real issue with this place is the jerk of a manager Dave. I have heard him talk down to female servers countless times, to the point where I saw one server break down in tears in front of a whole bar. I know of at least 2 workers there that have left the quit the restaurant because of him. Let alone to be rude to employees, but to also be extremely rude to customers is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Been a fan of the original Marshland on R6A in Sandwich for over 10 years. Great food and staff. Not sure why there are routine issues at the Marshland Too on Cotuit Rd in S.Sandwich. Food has gone down hill, but of course prices increase. Over the last year it has been consistently bad and manager/owner is rude and doesn't care. Tonight was the last straw. My wife's Baked Schrod at $17.99 was raw. Sent back and she waited close to 30 mins to get a fully cooked version. Restaurant in a Monday night was mostly empty. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore special which was disgusting. Over cooked chicken and greasy red sauce. I should have returned it. BTW they charge you $1 for an extra plate of a couple wants to split a meal. So petty. I advise drive the extra 5 mins to the original Marshland on RT6A. Sorry Marshland Too, you lost a loyal 10+ year customer of the Marshland chain. read more

Love the original Marshland, it's a slice of Americana. It has the small town feel, and all of the servers are just so nice. As good as the food is, part of what makes it what it is, and keeps us coming back, is the small town feel. You lose that with Marshland Too. It's in a strip mall, has multiple doors, one of which is the actual opening. That's not a big deal, I'm just trying to paint a picture. This isn't Marshland. The décor is cookie cutter and basic, it's like no thought was given to bring any of the original Marshland over. Just open up a place in a strip mall, and people will come because of the name. The servers are on the younger side, so you lose that old school service you get at Marshland. Marshland Too is a diner, and maybe that's what they are trying to be. But when you share a name with the original Marshland, my expectations are different. I gladly gave the original Marshland five well deserved stars, and they weren't any personal sentiments attached because I'm from NY, but this place is nothing like it's namesake. Looking for breakfast in the Mashpee/Sandwich area can be difficult. We Yelped it and found this little place by the Aubuchon. I was surprised, to say the least. It was about 2pm by the time we got there and they still had a partial breakfast menu but the waitress didn't say until we were ordering that they couldn't do pancakes due to the time. That was ok, they had plenty of other options. I'm on this inexplicable bacon and cheese omelette kick, so I ordered that and my date had the eggs benedict. Well, the eggs benny was fine, but it wasn't as good as Hoagies' the other day. My omelette seemed huge but surprisingly it didn't taste like... anything. And all the toppings were in the crease, not evenly spread out. The whipped cream on my hot chocolate was delectable but the actual beverage was watery and not very chocolatey. All in all, it was "fine." There was nothing wrong, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I would like to come back and try dinner because it's reasonably priced, plus there was a note saying they deliver...? Also, they offer beer and wine. We shall see. read more

I found this place as I was researching brunch places to visit while driving to Cape Cod from Boston. I read that it was featured on the Food Network so we had to check it out! My friend ordered the "Stuffed Quahog" (featured on Food Network). I ordered a Lobster Roll and my other friend ordered the Scallop Roll. All entrees were really good but something else took us by surprise.. My Lobster Roll came with fries and normally, I always ask for Ranch Dressing on the side to dip the fries in. The waitress mentions that they do not have Ranch Dressing, but did offer this "House Dressing" that they make in-house and all I remember her describing it was that it was garlic-y and creamy. So we thought, why not? Let's try it. The minute I tasted this dip, I was pleasantly surprised and became increasingly addicted. My friends also tried the dip and became addicted. It tasted amazing with fries, sweet potato fries, quahog, our rolls, everything! We were so impressed that we each all bought 3 separate jars of this dressing to take back home to Chicago! I grew up in Sandwich .. this place used to be a pizza shop and now it's a cute little breakfast/lunch sandwich place. It's an extension of the original Marshland restaurant (a staple in Sandwich culture... you wouldn't know unless you lived there. and famous for their chowder) This place has good food ... On a recent date night me and my husband ventured into sandwich for dinner and a movie. Wasn't impressed with the movie but I was pleased with marshland. If your in Forestdale I think its one of the best places to eat. Good for breakfast, Lunch or diner. Upon calling back was informed it was my mistake for ordering the wrong thing. But at least I was informed I was charged the right price. We don't get out for breakfast much (don't know why!) But last weekend we went to Marshland Too..it was a Saturday morning so things were fairly busy however, we were seated quickly. Service was fine and I guess the meal was fine too but I just wasn't impressed all around...the coffee looked like weak tea and the prices seemed high for breakfast! I guess its standard that you can't go anywhere on cape for breakfast for less than 25-30 bucks! (Remember the days when you could get a yummy breakfast for under 5 bucks?! Who's with me?!
