As an added bonus, it doubles as a great watering hole with weekly live events in the evening. Who knew?!?! For this first visit, I ordered off both the introductory brunch menu and the regular menu: a Blueberry Mimosa, a Blueberry Bacon Burger and a fresh Blueberry Muffin to take home. The mimosa and burger were absolutely delicious! The burger came with a side of huge french fries with big, yummy flecks of salt and a huge pickle spear. (Now, some may be turned off at the thought of blueberries on a burger but... just give it a try. It was very summer-y and verrrry refreshing!) And the server didn't bat an eye when I asked for my burger to be well done. (I know it's not a popular opinion but that's just how I am.) Speaking of which, I had the pleasure of being served by Amber who was a really great server. She was not only friendly but also very helpful in pointing out other local attractions that I might be interested in. She also informed me that Montague also periodically offers pre-ordered family-style food prep meals for purchase. Amber also introduced me to Brookelyn who runs The Montague. Brookelyn was also very well-versed in many local attractions and was truly happy to share some really great things they are working on... I don't want to spoil any surprises but I will share two quick teasers: 1) they're close to adding Sunday Brunch starting at 11am, and 2) they're in the process of building a great outdoor patio/deck space. Yay!! She was so kind , and shared with us she had been doing this for 30 years !
