So if you decide last minute to have a party, stop in buy. And sometimes when I buy a postcard they mail it for me! They also have cheap gas and a greasy spoon inside. Serving breakfast and lunch until 1pm- this is a place to meet locals. The food is cheap and incredibly tasty. It's a necessity to eat here at least once while in town. The beach club offers kayaks and canoes in addition to a snack shack with a lovely variety of food. Think local deli food: hot dogs, chips, fries, tuna salad sandwiches, popsicles and ice cream, etc. The rocky beach is clean and has umbrellas preset up for easy daily lounging. It's a great little spot off the beaten path before the Bar Harbor madness.
