Biscuit & gravy

Brunch is Sat & Sun 11am-3pm I went during brunch and it was a good experience! Great service, outdoor and indoor seating, the inside a good vibe to eat or drink and relax. I would definitely come back to check out their dinner menu and cocktails. Food was good, the outdoor tables are a bit rusty but it compliments the ambiance. Inside they have a lot of vinyls and have dj's at night. This is a hidden gem.

Their extensive vinyl collection means the music is always varied. The coffee shop at the bar makes great drinks.

Whether you want a chill brunch or a hip, energetic evening, 93' Til offers both. With a casual neighborhood vibe that extends from the afternoon until the evening, the cocktails, coffee, and drinks are all equally great. Their chicken sandwich is a must try and has gotten well deserved accolades. Perfectly breaded, toasted bun, and very juicy. We paired it with the churro French toast, an almost cloyingly sweet (but perfectly cooked) dish that definitely needed a savory balance. Their bacon is delicious, super thick with a slightly herby flavor. The evening hours can get loud between the crowds and the DJ, but the vibe is still really cool and chill. Definitely one of the more unique, fun spots of the Montrose/Upper Kirby area.

Super vibey spot with house music on the speakers, friendly staff, and tons of seating for dining on their delicious food or doing work. 93' Til has been on my bucket list for so long and I'm so glad I finally got to visit! The only unfortunate part of my experience was that the two of us at my table got the same dish - biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was dense but softened under the rich and savory gravy, and I got my eggs over easy to get the yolk mixed in. I also added some of their house-made habanero curry hot sauce, which is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely have to try a few other dishes next time! Their coffees are also great, with unique flavors for their lattes like spiced guava and molasses. Both of these were super tasty, hot and iced! Ultimately 93' Til is staying on my brunch list as a top tier choice, I can't wait to come back!

the vibes are definitely on point, i pulled up on a random day and it was lively. i can't speak to the quality of the food, but the cocktails did not disappoint! the layout is fun, with seating indoors and outdoors. the service was great! would definitely recommend! bonne santé

This place had a really cool open space inside. They are always spinning records by the bar. The food and drinks were okay. Although the service felt a bit slow it's still a pretty good spot to hang out in.

I previously came to 93' Til for an exclusive Yelp event and was so in love with the vibe and the drinks that I decided to return on a solo dinner date. I was a little confused about the seating because there was outdoor seating and reserved indoor tables. One of the staff came and clarified for me so I chose to sit outside since it wasn't too hot. A server offered me water and then I waited a while for my actual server to come by. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Hamachi Collar to try but I'll keep my eyes peeled for future daily specials. My drink order was taken and then later my food order was taken. I ordered a Lychee 75, Fingerling Potatoes and Lamb Shoulder. It was so delicious and the ambiance with the vinyls playing through the speaker made it all the more better. I really enjoyed myself and the food and drinks were really immaculate. The only downside was the amount of time I waited. I waited about 30 min in total from when I got my water, placed my drink order (and then was re-prompted for a drink order to which I reminded my server that I already ordered) and then received my first drink. I also went almost half of the dinner before I got a water refill. I don't know if I was sitting in a inconspicuous spot (behind the front door, outside) but I felt slightly forgotten about. The food came out in a decent amount of time but it was still about 40-45 min from ordering. Truthfully, the food was so delicious that I kind of didn't care about the wait time after the fact. All in all, I would 100% return regardless. It seems like a great place to bring a few friends and just enjoy the atmosphere. Really really enjoyed this place overall and I'll definitely be back

I genuinely have mixed feelings about this establishment and about my experience. I really wanted to give it 5 stars but there are a few reasons why I can't. I'll start with the positives: As soon as we walked in, the vibes were immaculate, they were playing one of my favorite songs. For some reason I thought the records would have just been a prop but they were playing great music all night and switching out the records. I was able to hear some of my favorite artists/songs. I think this is a great environment for those who want to experience night life without going anywhere that is too rowdy. It was a very chill and laid back environment. Secondly, the drink menu is pretty nice. My friend and I both had the lychee 75. It was good but honestly, it tasted almost identical to a lemon drop to me. On to the not so positives: the food menu is very strange and specific. There were only about 2 items on the menu that I would have been okay with trying if I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich or fish. Other than that, not even an appetizer looked appealing to me. We were both hungry but the menu was not appealing enough for us to order food so my friend decided to get the tres leches carrot cake.. two desserts that I despise, combined in one. She offered me some so I took a few bites but she ate most of it. After finishing our drinks and talking for awhile, we got our checks and for some odd reason the waiter decided to split the dessert on both of our checks. I thought it was very strange that he didn't even ask if we wanted to split it, considering that my friend stated that SHE would be ordering the dessert for herself. I didn't ask the waiter to correct this because I didn't mind splitting this with my friend but it's the principle of it. Anyway..despite the negatives, I would definitely go back because I did enjoy myself here but I'd be sure to eat before I go and just order drinks.

I always have a good time at 93' til. The food menu is always rotating but the time I was here the tres leches was to die for. I'm still dreaming about it. Staff is always kind! Shout out to Jerome for always giving the best hospitality. When you walk in, it'll give you coffee shop/ record store / lounge vibes. They do play vinyls and sometimes will them on repeat until they change it out but the music selection is good. It's a great spot to come listen to music, catch up with the homies and have some bites. You can always expect good vibes at 93.

Biscuits and gravy, fried Chicken Sandwich, matcha latte
Stephanie Z.

We stopped by for a late lunch and tried the matcha latte, fried chicken sandwich, and biscuits with sausage gravy. The matcha latte tasted like watery milk with no matcha flavor at all. The fried chicken sandwich was large and appeared tasty with a tall pile of slaw. I appreciated the crunchiness of the chicken, but it didn't have much flavor. The biscuits and gravy dish was delicious though, with generous sausage gravy blanketing a fluffy biscuit. The service was not very attentive. The ambiance was very casual.

I love this spot so much. Chill, vibey with the best music. The staff is awesome as well. So far I have only had bomb drinks but look forward to grabbing some food soon. The space -- They have a pretty large patio to enjoy the outdoors. If that's not your thing, inside has a mix of loungey type furniture and dinning tables. Parking -- they have some spots in a lot but also plenty of street parking.

Came in on a Saturday night. Seated immediately with a group of 5. Dress code: casual Food 4.5/5: got the chicken sandwich, beetroot salad and brocollini. Beetroot was too salty for me but the sandwich was amazing, highly recommend it. Brocollini was quite good as well. Service 4.5/5: very friendly and helpful, accommodating about splitting a check. Slightly slow at times but overall a great experience Ambiance 4.5/5: cool ambiance kind of a mix of chill casual speakeasy, cafe and bar. A bit loud at times Value 4/5: good food for a good price. Seems like more than fair value for the sandwich but the rest of the food, prices seemed par for the course Overall 4.4/5: overall a good experience, seems a bit like a jack of all trades, none of the categories was "wow" but everything was very solid. Would definitely come back another night to try more options. Except maybe the chicken sandwich. That was pretty wow.

I visited this spot for brunch with friends on the weekend. Located in Montrose, it has a small parking lot and street parking nearby. The place boasts a trendy, hipster vibe and a spacious patio, which is a plus. I was looking forward to try this place out based on other reviews and pictures. Unfortunately, I found the brunch menu to be quite limited. I ordered a latte and the hangover burrito. The latte was fantastic, but the burrito was underwhelming. For $14, it came with no sides and was only about half the size of what you'd get at Chipotle. Service was lackluster--similar to what you'd find at a local coffee shop. The staff took our order and brought our food and check, but that was about it. To top it off, they automatically added a 20% tip for our group, which felt excessive given the service quality. Overall, I think I would enjoy this place more as a coffee shop rather than a dining destination. I likely won't be returning for food.

Do they play music during lunch service?

I'm pretty sure they do since they are more of a music bar

Even with the indecisiveness of some of my friends, Luis was patient and not only gave some great suggestions, but also was very knowledgeable with the menu. Anyways, this restaurant has been open now for seven years and I have always liked the design of the place. The way they kept the roof pitch in the main dining area to make such a small space look more spacious. Of course, that does cause the place to be on the loud side of things. But for being seven years old, the place is well kept and in very good condition. As for the food, I had decided to go with the salmon tartare bites and the lobster roll as my appetizer. The salmon tartare was cut up salmon mix with avocado and places on a crispy rice cake that gave it texture and crunch with every bite. And the slice of jalapeño on the top of each bite gave it a perfect kick of spice. And the lobster roll had to rich flavor of the lobster and butter with every bit, yet the bun was not soggy at all. For my main course, I had the Nasi Lemak, which is a yellow curried cod with grounded peanuts drizzled on top of it for added salty flavor and texture. The cod was perfectly cooks and moist and the curry did not over power the flavor of the fresh cod. And I ended the night with their bread pudding. The soft and fluffy bread pudding sat on a caramel sauce while pecans was the topping. With the vanilla cream on the side to pair with everything, it was the perfect dessert to make my dinner there a pleasant one.

We also tried the yellowtail aguachile with roasted poblano and sunflower seed za'atar, which was just okay--nothing particularly memorable. For appetizers, I highly recommend the yellowtail sashimi. I'm sorry I didn't post a picture - I was SO hungry. I literally ate it like candy. Speaking of candy, it has Pop Rocks on top of the yellowtail. See how I tied that in, kids? My friends (also Yelp Elite) and I decided to do everything family-style. Since it's Restaurant Week (really Restaurant Month), we ordered a bunch of appetizers. The blue crab hush puppies were my second favorite. I wasn't a huge fan of the heirloom tomato because the wheat bread was way too thick for my liking. I would have preferred sourdough. But let's be honest - the reason I come here is for the mac & cheese and steak. I got the steak flight, which is about $110, but it's worth every penny. The Wagyu literally cuts like butter. The sides are HUGE and easily shareable with four people, so keep that in mind when ordering. Unfortunately, my friend did not enjoy his swordfish. His exact words were, "It tastes like dried chicken." My wife ordered the salad and absolutely loved it. Once again, the portion was enormous. If I'm judging this place solely on the wine, steaks, sides, and atmosphere, it's an easy five stars. You just have to know what to order. I was definitely disappointed to hear about the fish, but everything else keeps bringing me back.

The staff does announce when someone is walking through the kitchen, so it felt safe, but it was still a little unexpected. For dinner, I tried one of the specials that evening: an 8-ounce steak served with asparagus and potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were nice and crispy around the edges. The steak could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still flavorful overall. My boyfriend ordered the redfish, which was a very generous portion and seasoned really well. However, the crab fries that came with it were very bland and definitely could have used more flavor. I ordered a blackberry margarita, and it was absolutely amazing! Definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. For dessert, we ordered the Snickers ice cream. It seemed more like an ice cream sandwich with peanuts on top and chocolate on the side. It wasn't my favorite dessert, but it was still a nice sweet treat if you're someone who likes to finish dinner with dessert. Our bill was around $180 for two meals, dessert and two drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the service was quick, and most of the food was good. There were a few things that could have been better, particularly the seasoning on the steak and crab fries and the dessert, but I would still consider coming back.

The bread is nice and oily yet still crusty and crunchy. The tomatoes and greens on top paired perfectly with the sourdough. - The warm broth doesn't seem like much from pictures and description but it was just so comforting and had nice umami. The green onions really bring out the rest of the flavors. - Ratatouille: this was one of our server's recommendations. I thought it was pretty good but slightly too sour/over-pickled for me. (I'm also not a big pickle person) - Butternut squash: This was probably the next best dish after the toast and broth. All the flavors and texture were there except the squash was a little hard. It could've been cooked a little longer to make it easier to cut through. I guess it is out of season, but still. - Squab aka pigeon: Also pretty good. The dried raspberries actually pair very well with it. Ambiance: 4/5 - The space is extremely small so you really need reservations. - It's so small that the tables are quite close together. But they were also not evenly spaced out so we tried to move our table away from the people next to us (we were practically touching!) and the staff insisted that we don't move them because they need to access the cutlery in the drawer on the side of the table?? First of all, they could've still accessed it after we moved the table. Second, if the space is that tiny, why not just store the utensils elsewhere? Very odd and didn't like that vibe.
