Anyway, the staff is super friendly and the bartender was totally cool pouring me a snit (side car of light beer) to go with my bloody. It came to just $9 which seemed like a good deal. The food from the Durango Diner is always solid diner fare.

We normally love going here and having some cocktails and dancing. But after this experience I will no longer return as long as this POS is working there. We went after enjoying an evening at the Fiesta days rodeo. My wife and I each had one beer, when I asked for another he proceeded to try to chew my butt and act a fool. Sorry but if you can't make a drink and acknowledge when another patron asks for another round, you are probably in the wrong profession. I worked as a server and restaurant manager for many years here in Farmington NM. If one of my employees ever spoke to a customer in the fashion he did, I could promise you he/she would no longer be an employee. Very disappointed in this experience we had tonight to say the least.

I've had bad service before, but the bartender at this place took it to a whole new level. He was straight up disrespectful. From the second I stepped up to the bar, his attitude was unbearable. As I analyzed, I understood he's just a very sad individual just looking to pick on some hispanics. I feel so sorry for the establishment he represents. Such a goddamn disgrace. He was starring at me all night like I had personally wronged him. I'm not sure what I did to personally offend the staff but from the moment I walked in, I have never been treated as poorly as I was at Orios roadhouse. 0/5 stars but I have to put 1. I will never ever return.

The bartender didn't smoke with us from the bowl he loaded and shortly after we realized it wasn't actually weed and that he drugged us. He then followed us home and did some pretty fucked up things. I have filed a police report. Also, forgot to mention I had a fake ID and was a minor at the time.

Being in the area I was…read morebeyond happy to see it was still open so our final breakfast for this brief trip had to be here. The restaurant is tiny, a narrow shotgun type unit in a building along main street. We managed to get one of their five tables and were promptly served drinks and time to look over the menu before ordering the Country Benedict. My coffee was kept filled as we waited for our order. As soon as the plate hit the table, I knew that even though the owner had changed, the spirit of the place remained. The plate of food was massive; more than the two of us could eat. The plate included two halves of an excellent biscuit, half of a large sausage patty on each, an over easy egg; all smothered in country sausage gravy. The other half of the plate had a mound of beautiful browned hash browns. Enough for four people or at least two very hungry people. It was glorious and nostalgic. The flavor was everything I wanted it to be. If you are in or near Durango, please consider giving this true old diner a try. Thanks to Greg, the new owner, for continuing Gary's recipes and hospitality.

We stopped in for breakfast when we didn't realize there was an art festival going on in the city of Durango, so we expected it to feel crowded, busy and rushed. They found a table for us right away (part of that was lucky timing on our part), but provided great service.... Answering all of our questions and asking where we are from and overall friendly service. We all ordered the breakfast burritos and it was better than what we expected. I highly recommend the green chili sauce they smother the burrito in.... It's super tasty! And in the end, the price was lower than we expected.... So, great environment, great food. 5 stars! I would be happy to come back to this one!
