No wonder 88 is super. When Marty drove that fast, the DeLorean went instantly Back To The Future. Or Back to the Back. You know. Wherever. Really excellent food court in the Brighton-Allston area which has a little bit of everything from Indian to Korean to Chinese too a bunch of other goodies. It's not cheap at all which is the only reason doesn't score 5 stars - but it's great that it's here and there is also a Kung Fu Tea bubble tea location here which is one of my favourite locations with super nice guys making great products. I love this food court which is full of about 10 different International options from Indian to various types of Asian and even a Kung Fu Tea bubble tea stand with friendly employees and good products. Some of the people in here have serious attitudes though - I'm talking about the employees working here. And a lot of the prices at the different stands are not cheap. So if they can put some cheaper options in here and get some more happy people working in here and serving in here then it would get 5 stars.

Can smell weird but it is a great market for unique items. Would recommend if you are interested in Chinese food

The whole atmosphere is cold, not inviting and boring. No distinction, character or charm. Before there used to be. Under better prior management I presume. Removing the iconic waterfall? Big mistake. It was elegantly paved with small penny fountains. It was timeless. This urge to just nuke what was beloved to make everything look like a clinical and soulless hallway. All employees at almost every store are glued to their phone and not present at all to customers. You don't make money that way. Even the joke of security guards are glued to their phones outside Gucci. What a joke. In unpredictable and trying times like these, inflation isn't going anywhere and high end stores need to actually try. It was never this catered to the 1%. You could actually go to a restaurant or store and not feel like you've been robbed and facing a debt to pay off for a year. Management can waste their breath saying that Copley was simply updated to keep up with trends. Well, you failed. There's no heart, hardly any selection, all classic architectural which features attracted people from all over the world - destroyed where you do not know where you are. What once was a place of wonderment, excitement and to spark your Christmas Spirit, is now simply a drain of disappointment as you go home with a sigh. Management - you don't have to bother responding. You obviously made decisions to destroy the good made by top notch engineers. It's too late. Sad.

I will say I was little surprised and disappointed. This is not at all like City Place in Doral (Miami) where I am from. There it is open air, large, beautiful and full of fun places and great restaurants to eat at. This City Place seems more like an indoor food court with the only restaurants I saw to be blaze pizza and the paragon of great Asian food P.F Chang's (lol). Still this is where I went on some great tours. If your visiting Boston, I would definitely check out the tours Grayline/Beantown has. One great thing besides the tour company at City Place is the life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. Obviously a small man who cast a long shadow. If your wondering why is there a statue of him in Boston? Well, he was born there. Per the tour guide, it was funded by a limited edition Edgar Allen Poe bobble head... wish I could have known I would have bought it! I love Edgar Allen Poe ever since I read this poem of his in middle school that spoke to me: From childhood's hour I have not been As others were -- I have not seen As others saw -- I could not bring My passions from a common spring -- From the same source I have not taken My sorrow -- I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone -- And all I lov'd -- I lov'd alone -- Then -- in my childhood -- in the dawn Of a most stormy life -- was drawn From ev'ry depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still -- From the torrent, or the fountain -- From the red cliff of the mountain -- From the sun that 'round me roll'd In its autumn tint of gold -- From the lightning in the sky As it pass'd me flying by -- From the thunder, and the storm -- And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view -- I loved the detail of the statue... the Tell-Tale Heart... the Raven... amazing! The statue was awesome. The tour company was great. The rest...uninspiring.
