Vincent was a great help, he had really good customer service. We had rewards points for the egg custard tart, it was nice treat with the Vietnamese coffee. My wife got a latte and she enjoyed it. Bakery was bright and clean and plenty places to sit down

So happy that they brought back their seasonal sea salt strawberry green tea! ($5.25) The moment I saw the email, I knew I had to get it. The last time I had it was in 2019. I ordered using the kiosk which was easy. The wait for the drink was quick. No complaints. It tastes just as I remember.

This was my first time at this location and unfortunately my go-to order of the sea salt caramel coffee with no sugar fell flat. It was too watered down and didn't hit like it usually does. I tried the viral Vietnamese coffee with sea salt cream and that was made well but definitely had way too much ice and not enough drink. Service was quick and staff was nice.

THIS IS NOT A SERVICE ANIMAL.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 10am. There was a lady who came in with her dog. Now, I know service animals are allowed. However, this dog did not have a service animal tag. Instead, the vest the dog was wearing stated "Best Friend" almost like the owner was trying to trick others into thinking it was a "Service Dog" vest. The dog was walking around the bread and even sniffing the bread. The owner saw and even tried to swat her dog away from some Strawberry Halfmoons that the dog was sniffing. As someone who is allergic to dogs, what if they are the person who touches that bread next? What if the allergy is very severe? I walked around the premises to check if there were signs on the windows/doors talking about no pets, only service dogs. Only one entrance had the signs stating this. The other doors did not. As someone who is allergic to dogs, I do not understand how someone can just bring their pet into an establishment that serves food. The dog even went up to some customers and was sniffing their shoes. I even watched the dog go up to a little girl and try to take her doll. **4/1/26 UPDATE** To Katherine (the business owner): Yes, I know you allow SERVICE DOGS. However, this lady's dog was not wearing a vest stating it was a service dog. Also, I think service dogs know better than to try stealing little girls' dolls. That lady's dog was NOT a service dog. She was trying to TRICK people into thinking it was with the FAKE vest it was wearing. Please put more signs up around the different entrance doors.

I tried their so called viral strawberry matcha bun and disappointed with this bun. Please see pictures

Mookcake I tried Taro Mochi Pastry. The mouth feels of the mochi was very soft and chewy. I like it. The exterior pastry was not particularly good, but not bad. Overall, it was not too sweet. Golden Yolk Red Bean Overall, the mouth feel was good and not too sweet. Taste was not particularly good, but not bad.

85 has recently started selling taro rolls--two for $2.40--and they are so good. They're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, but filled with a taro filling instead. I have honestly never seen this anywhere else. Every time I have visited this location, they were sold out, so I was thrilled to finally try them today--and they were absolutely worth it. Worth, worth, worth it! I actually like the taro version more than the cheese one. For cheese rolls, I still prefer Porto's since they have a stronger cheese flavor and a creamier filling.

Got a sweet bun. Tastes delicious and yummy!! Service is fast and quick. Place is well maintained and well structured.

They have a large selection of bread, drinks, and cakes. A few of my favorite are the taro marble bun, coconut twist, milk pudding bun! They also sell loaves of bread and egg tarts. The sea salt coffee is my favorite. It sweetened Americano with sea salt whipped cream! The sweetness can be adjusted too. Delicious! Parking is easy and located in the rear in the structure or there is street parking. *Tip: Come early for the best selection of bread!

We decided to stop in at 85° to get boba. We ordered a green tea with boba, a mango green tea with lychee and a soft jasmine tea with lychee. I tasted all three and they were quite good. The front of the store was clean and the line moved reasonably well. I'm only giving this place three stars, because I had to go use the restroom and it was just filthy. The door was stuck and the lock was very difficult to close. The floor was covered with all kinds of stuff, paper stuff, and there were no paper towels. I hope I never have to use this bathroom, although I did let them know what the counter that it was a mess and there were no paper towels.

I went to the Arcadia location for some pastries. Not too busy. Friendly and helpful staff. Store is clean. The selection is good. Parking garage is behind Rating: 4 Stars

The cake wasn't soaked in coffee.

I bought a whole tiramisu cake from this bakery for a friend's birthday since it's his favorite dessert. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The cake had no tiramisu flavor at all, there was no coffee taste whatsoever. The only thing that resembled tiramisu was the cacao powder on top. The white cream tasted old, and the cake itself was dry, which makes me believe it wasn't fresh. The cream didn't taste like mascarpone at all, it was more like buttercream, which completely changed the texture and flavor you would expect from a traditional tiramisu. I've tried a dessert from this bakery before, and while it wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. I decided to give them another chance, but sadly this experience was not good. I wouldn't consider this a reliable option for special occasions.

On a Saturday morning in mid June, my sister and I came here for pasties. The parking garage lot is behind bakery. Inside has an interesting layout. Rectangle area of baked breads and it's kinda cramped with spacious tables area. The line was short to pay for pastries. Nice ambiance in the seating areas with music in the background. The garlic cheese bread is my goto bread and it taste good.

Who is back there cooking?! You MUST be from San Diego!!…read more This place is so damn GOOD!!! My momma, my sisters, and I have always said the further you get away from San Diego, the worse the Mexican food gets! LOL! And I'm sorry, but it's usually true! Well, let me tell you, this place proved me WRONG! I'll make this quick! I ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados -- half red, half green, topped with over-easy eggs, served with rice and beans. Now, they definitely cook a little differently than my family does, so I'm assuming they're from a different region of Mexico than where our family comes from. BUT DAMN DUDE!!! These chilaquiles were SO FREAKING GOOD!!! The flavors, the sauces, everything! I sat there thinking, where the heck has this place been hiding?! And I'm not even exaggerating when I say I would drive all the way back here JUST to eat these chilaquiles again! Whoever is back there cooking, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! BRAVO!!! Now, let's talk about the ambiance! The outside could use a little love, especially the front entrance. But listen, you're not coming here because it's beautiful. YOU'RE COMING HERE TO EAT, CHUBBY!!! LOL! And if the food is this damn good, I'll happily overlook a little curb appeal! Now quit reading reviews and GO TRY THIS PLACE!!!

Unfortunately, service was rough. It took a long time to go through the people in front of us and for us to order. We got a couple of breads which were a great size and tasty. The coffees we got were also tasty. We ordered three breakfast items, which only two ended up coming out. I decided to get a refund for one of the items instead of waiting. The staff were super apologetic! The inside was so cute and modern. The outside had one table with two chairs. They were kind enough to bring us out a third chair.

Lady M proper was founded in 2001 in Manhattan's Upper East Side, originally serving as a luxury wholesale bakery for NYC restaurants and hotels. The cakes were a hit, and now Lady M operates bakeries from Los Angeles to Singapore. One of my family friends proclaims Lady M's mille crepes to be the Chinese-American community's most sought-after dessert -- he even admits to stuffing entire cakes into his carry-on back to Texas. For me, the closest location is in The Shops at Santa Anita. Briefly, this indoor Arcadia shopping mall has all the expected mid-level and upscale chains and boutiques, as well as food options with a pan-Asian bent. Parking can feel like bumper cars, and the dizzying scale of the mall will be sure to rack up your steps. Lady M is located at the Nordstrom (north) end of the mall, near the Din Tai Fung. The shop is brightly lit and minimally decorated. The walls have a few grey-toned photographs, and a silver, backlit "M" logo hangs in the back. The colorful cakes stand out against the stark white palette, with no price tags in sight. Behind the counter, the staff is coordinated in all-black uniforms, packaging cakes and brewing coffees. Ambient noise from the mall pours in through the glass double doors. My fiancee and I opted for a slice of the standard Green Tea Mille Crepes cake. The star of each bite was the light-as-air cream, pancaked even between the countless parchment-thin crepes. The matcha-forward, "not-too-sweet" flavor was spread evenly and delicately across each layer. The slice was moderately thick and wide, and it felt reasonable to split between 2. The service was reasonably efficient, and our single slice cost $12. At this price, there's no way I can envision Lady M as an everyday (or even every-week) dessert. Nonetheless, I was impressed by the quality, and I would be interested in working my way through more of their menu. Further, I can see Lady M as an upscale edible gift for a fan of sweet treats.

Is it pricy - yes Is the quality there - 100%…read more One of the best cake I've got in the 626 area by taste. Definitely pricy but the quality is there. We ordered the black sesame cake for my wife's bday. Overall, great presentation, good taste, easy pickup. The cake was fluffy, the cream was light , not overly sweet, and well balanced by nuts and raisins. Maybe the nuts and raisins were a bit over (some might argue it was too much texture). Will definitely be back to try other flavors

The cream/frosting is not very sugary, so it's great if you don't like super sweet cakes, but you might be disappointed if you like the more traditional American buttercream frosting (this is about 25% as sweet, which we loved). When it says that there are nuts in the filling, there are a lot of nuts! Hazelnuts, pecans, and almonds. The candied walnuts on the outside were super delicious along with the peanut candy blocks (grounds peanuts and sugar molded into blocks which reminded me of old Asian peanut candy). We also modified the cake to leave out the dried fruit (cranberries and raisins). My only negative comments was regarding service. When I showed up to pick up the cake, no one was at the front of the store. The workers were busy in the back. When they saw me, they did not acknowledge me and kept on with their work. Even when I called out for assistance, they ignored me and kept doing their assigned work. Finally, after many calls for assistance, the person working closest to the front called to someone in the back who came out to help me.
