I'm not quite sure why Kenny would not take my account and past standing into consideration other than it probably had something to do with his wife Melanie. I have had numerous occasions talking with cabinet makers around the area of how dissatisfied they were with her attitude and the way she treats her current customers. Unfortunately, the owner being married to her kind of locks him in to having to bend to her ways, I cannot imagine what a divorce would cost him.

They also have windows and doors. And that's about it. It's all discounted, most of it new but off-brand but some of it product overruns, the stock is rather unpredictable but what they have typically runs a lot cheaper than the Lowe's and Home Depot and moderately cheaper than Lumber Liquidators and the like. If you're not picky, or if you're building for somebody else's renovation, you can find good bargains here. As for long-term quality, I know not: everything here seems to be fairly elemental. There are a few semi-custom things you can order (windows, notably) but exactly how custom is hard to tell. In any event, there's definitely money to be saved but it does depend on what your tolerance range is for style and selection. Probably worth poking your head in if you're doing your own home renovation, particularly on a rental or an in-law unit. Location is at 7 and Watt St., you have to turn onto Watt from 7 and go by United Buffet, Ocean State, and the panoply of dollar stores through the parking lot to get to Bargain Outlet all the way at the end.

Jim Marx at Turnpike Glass was whispered in my ear at a local big box building supply house after I…read moregot their's and Renewal by Anderson's quotes that were well over 35 & 40K. I called Jim, he showed up at my house, examined each window and found about 2/3 of them had their seals compromised and blown out and that's why my windows were turning colors yellow and orange. It was terrible! Well, he came in with a price of about 5k and he replaced every screen on the house, sliding door screen included! When the replacement windows came in (each one was ordered to exact size and spec), his installation team came, headed by his son. It was unbelievable watching them work! Like surgeons for windows, I swear! My wife and I could not believe the total difference in just seeing out our windows and nevermind the brand new re-screening of everything. We truly couldn't believe the quality of work, the respectful way they treated us and the quality of the job. We don't hesitate to give Jim and Turnpike Glass our absolute highest recommendation!

They have their own parking lot, so parking wasn't an issue, and the front parts of the store we went in looked clean, inviting, and organised. Some of my issues were: when they started the weather was nice. They could have gotten it done quickly but they dragged their feet and only worked on this job for a couple hours and then moved on somewhere else I'd guess. They kept 4-5 ladders up on my roof on all sides for weeks, in my neighbors drivewaY too. They left two trailers in my driveway so I couldn't park my cars there and we need to inscotia because there is no overnight parking. Job was over a month of not being able to park in my driveway. One night they left their radio on the peak of the chimney and it was on wpyx 106.5 which was appreciated by all my neighbors I'm sure. Then when they were done they left a bunch of garbage in a can of mine. They also left a ton of debris on a small roof over two stories high which I wasn't getting off. They basically made me call them to complain which I hate. I just want good service for a fair price. No leaks yet and I'll update if that changes. And although the fellas looked rough around the edges they all were nice dudes. And they cleaned up almost every day before they left, once they left some stuff but Im sure it was a mistake. Also the final day the owner came and looked over the job, he seemed like a standup dude. He gave me a card and told me to call if anything happens. I would recommend this company anyway but with stipulations. When you enter into the contract, you need to state what you expect and a time frame (weather permitting) before they have to discount the job.
