I even had friends call for a quote from him, they got the quote and when questioned, never any follow up. Not sure what happened to this man or company. I'm very happy with his meticulous and detail-oriented work; plan to employ him on additional projects - a 200 old brick house will provide many such projects. Best details: along with refurbishing the old wrought iron railings so they look sharp, he applied an aggregate coating that was a good match to the old stair color, plus several layers of epoxy to stabilize the stairs and make them winter-safe.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Klaus Roofing was extremely disappointing. They failed to complete the roof repair as outlined in my contract, and the improper repair resulted in a roof leak just a few months later. Rather than taking responsibility, they blamed my attic insulation, even though the issue was clearly related to their workmanship. They also damaged my shingles and siding while attempting a temporary fix without my permission. Communication was beyond poor, and scheduling repairs to address the roof and siding damage was frustrating. I never received a sincere apology or any real accountability. In the end, I reached the point where I refused to have this company back on my property. That was my decision, and it will cost me more in the long run, but I no longer had confidence in their work or customer service. I would give zero stars if I could.

Typical of every other year, our driveway was sealed earlier today. However, the work was not par for BDB. A call to Kate resolved the issue promptly. (Later the same day), Migel and his crew applied the second coat of sealant. PERFECT! Kate said NYS mandates a different, lower quality (less dense) sealant.

That evening, I got this text verbatim: "Not coming to do your estimate thought about it its to far after being out there today sorry jim american fence." I followed up days later to ask if he could do the work at all. His response: "No sorry to far." No call. No professionalism. Apparently, just enough energy to type two texts and move on. I have a permit. I have materials. I have a dog who's been attacked five times by a neighbor's dog and needs a fence built. Jim had a job ready to go.
