Walley Masonry Service - Chimney rebuild "restoration "

Walley Masonry Service

A five star rating does not even begin to encompass the immense gratitude and appreciation I have…read morefor Tyshawn and Walley Masonry Service. Let me start by saying: When I found out that I would need to replace the old, rotten hardwoods throughout half of my house, the task seemed insurmountable. Not only did I need to rip out those old floors, but there was seventy five year old mastic attached to the concrete prohibiting me from pouring the concrete I wanted onto my floors. I came to Walley Masonry for help, to see if there was anything we could do. Tyshawn, without batting an eye, said he could get it done. From a personal standpoint, Tyshawn is an upstanding individual. He respected me and my wishes for the project, and treated the project as if it was his own home he was working on. Not only that, but as all things are in construction, there were several hurdles in our way when removing the mastic, as it was extremely stubborn. Even with remedy after remedy not working, Tyshawn never gave up on making sure the job was done correctly. From a business perspective, Tyshawn is hardworking, committed, and dedicated to the project he is working on. He put in long hours, working well into the night, to get the project done. Whether it be from staying late stripping the mastic off the concrete, pouring the concrete, or making sure to take the extra time to pay fine attention to the details that otherwise may have been missed, Tyshawn made sure that the job was not only done, but that it was done right. You will see in the photos the complete night and day difference between what I started with, and what Tyshawn helped me create. I appreciate him, and would fully support and endorse hiring him for whatever masonry needs you may have!

Despite the unpredictable weather -- from heavy rains to very cold temperatures -- TyShawn remained professional, reliable, and committed to finishing the job with quality. His workmanship, attention to detail, and dedication truly stood out. We are very satisfied with the outcome and appreciate his hard work under tough conditions. Thank you, TyShawn, for a job well done!

We had a fantastic experience working with Kerry Williams from Adirondack Basement! From the very…read morebeginning, Kerry was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. Kerry took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made what could have been a stressful project feel so much easier. He was honest, dependable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work. It's not often you come across someone who takes such pride in what they do and truly stands behind their work. We would absolutely recommend Kerry and Adirondack Basement to anyone looking for quality work and excellent customer service. Thank you, Kerry, for making this such a positive experience!

If I could give no stars I would. First, the guy who came to our house to look at our small…read morebasement window we need to have replaced was so unprofessional. We do not wear shoes in the house and we both left our shoes on the rug by the garage door when going down to show him window. Not only did this man wear his shoes all over my house and leave my basement light and doors on and open. He had footprints from one end of the house to the other, where he asked to sit at our dinning room table. Then proceeded to ask for our WiFi and give us an astronomical price of $10,000 for all the windows. Best part the windows install wouldn't be till January/Feb, when we need them done sooner, especially just one. Then he pushed getting a deposit and I told my husband no, I don't like this guy and do not think that's accurate. We then tell him we'll think about it and the guy sat in our driveway for a good 30 minutes after we had to get back to work blocking the garage area. So not only did this man ruin my floors and was extremely unprofessional, this company is a scam. You're better off going with a local contractor. We called someone else the next day and were quoted a total of $3700 for all windows and install next week. I have no idea why there's so many positive reviews for this company. I can't believe the unprofessionalism and obscene overpricing.

I have never written a negative review before, but due to the significant financial stress this…read moreproject has caused my family, I feel obligated to share my experience. We hired this contractor to install a concrete patio to address a drainage issue near our foundation. Despite raising concerns throughout the project, the finished patio was graded toward our house and directed water directly at the foundation, the exact problem it was supposed to solve. I also had concerns about the workmanship, including stone being placed directly on grass and retaining wall rocks during site preparation. Additionally, the patio was tied into our block foundation with rebar. While we were aware this was being done, we later learned from independent contractors that this is not recommended in our climate due to freeze-thaw conditions. After years of hiring contractors for home improvement projects, this has been by far our worst experience. The patio had to be removed shortly after installation, resulting in significant additional expense and the need to hire a new contractor to redo the work correctly. I would encourage future customers to carefully document everything and independently verify grading, drainage, and construction methods before work begins.

I have nothing but good things to say about Zach and Dan. Totally professional in their approach to…read morecustomer service and satisfaction. They took an ugly set of pre cast steps and turned it into a work of art. The poured steps with the polyurea/ flake finish is amazing. I wish that I could post before and after pictures... Working with concrete requires flexibility in scheduling due to weather ,etc.. Any time that Zach was not going to working on the project, he called or texted me to let me know what was going on. ( His wife even called me once to tell me he was running late ! Who does that?!!) He worked tirelessly to complete the project and would not stop until I was COMPLETELY satisfied. My neighbors are amazed at how the final project turned out and cannot stop complimenting our new entry steps. Thanks to Zach and Dan, they're the best!
