Convenient stop on your way to or from the airport. They are set up in the Lowe's parking lot. We ordered the garlic chicken and the ribeye and both were solid.

Grabbed a Korean Chicken Plate on the way home. Good flavor but not moist. Loved the salad but would have wanted more and a little pricey for me. Friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good location if you're shopping at Target or Lowes but no seating available to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We ordered the ahi katsu. The ahi could have been seasoned more as besides the outside of the fish, there wasn't really much taste. The fish itself also wasn't very tender. The portion felt smaller than what others had said in their reviews. It would have been nice if it came with other sides to provide a bit more variety to the meal.

Garlic fried chicken was good in that the garlic was cooked! Small portion of rice compared to other restaurants. Salad was so so. We got this to go too so didn't eat it fresh. Probably would've been better.

This food was AMAZING! The woman working at the food truck was so nice. This was our first stop after landing in Maui and the ahi katsu was really crispy, juicy, and unique. Garlic shrimp was great too. Sauces were so flavorful. Definitely recommend!

Service is decently fast. They make everything to order so it'll take 15-20 minutes. You can order online ahead of time and beat the line with their QR code. This was my first time so I got the garlic ahi, the sauce was tasty. To be honest it was slightly over cooked but the sauce made up for it. It came with 3 panko crusted filets, rice and tossed salad. $20. It a little on the pricier side but Maui is expensive and it is ahi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are located in the Kahului Lowe's parking lot. Can't miss the nicest food truck on Maui[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], I'll be back to try the ribeye!

Opened late, skimped on the hot sauce after we ordered two plates with extra chicken and steak (said she could only give one for both of us), and wasn't friendly. Food was ok (except for the chicken it was over fried), but not worth the price. Theres good food trucks down the street that are way better. Posted an updated menu.

After a delayed connecting flight, we had no time to eat before getting on our next flight to Maui. We arrived at the Lowe's parking lot where this food truck was located. Took us some time to figure out where the food truck was parked considering how big this parking lot was. I got the ribeye steak and garlic shrimp, also comes with rice and a small salad. After surviving on pretzels, I ate the whole thing. It was delish. Great portion as well. Since there were no tables to sit at, we ate on the hood of our rental car.

I come here usually for their ahi katsu, and every once in a while I get the wasabi glaze (really good to clear your sinuses instantly with how it tingles the senses in a good way), and they always have repeat customers for a reason! Staff is super nice, and I love that they continue to help their community when they can and they offered a day for free ahi katsu, and everyone had positive things to say after their visit. Would definitely try the wasabi glaze at least once! - Miguel Morales Photography

The food truck was easy to find in the Lowe's parking lot. After ordering I waited maybe 10 minutes. We shared the Garlic Ahi Katsu and Ribeye Combo. Hard to find good food but we found it, delicious.. Perfect amount of food for the two of us.

We had just finished our one-day Road to Hana outing so was looking for quick easy dinner place and so happy we found this place! The food was so delicious and filling after a full day of RTH adventures. Loved the half-half option so we were able to try multiple entree options! Fried poke was interesting- nicely fried, delicious sauce on top.

    Ribeye and Korean Chicken

Hands down the best meal we've had in Maui. We ate here twice, 1st upon arrival and 2nd time was right before leaving the island, and not because it's strategically located near the airport, but because everything we've had here was beyond perfection. The ribeye was tender and flavorful, the Korean chicken pieces were crispy on the outside with a tangy garlicky flavor, the Garlic Shrimp was similar to the Korean chicken in terms of taste, while my top two dishes here which you cannot miss out on were the Furikake Fried Poke and Wasabi Glazed Ahi Katsu. I've never had Ahi Poke prepared this way and I simply cannot rave enough about it. Think fried cubes of fresh tuna with each bite so juicy and oozing with flavor. The Wasabi Glazed Ahi Katsu were two big pieces of tuna, breaded with a crispy exterior and doused with wasabi and mayo on top. Wow! 808 Plates is the real deal if you're looking for good Hawaiian eats on the island. The price doesn't break the bank either, with a decent amount of portion for each serving. The combo allows you to choose two proteins so we went that route to try more stuff. Remember, it's a food truck stationed in the Lowe's parking lot. Don't expect tables here. You can either eat in your car or get it to-go, just don't make this the deal breaker or you will miss out, big time.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: NA/5 Parking: NA/5 Family friendly: 5/5 Stroller friendly: NA/5 The smell coming out of this food truck is HEAVENLY. We found this place on Yelp! And shouts to other yelpers because I'm glad we did. We ended up ordering Korean chicken($16), Garlic Ahi katsu ($17), Ribeye ($17), and Garlic shrimp (4pc) and ribeye combo ($19) plates. Everything was cooked superbly and we ended up sharing most of the plates anyway. The kiddos were all about the food, so kudos for that! It took a little longer for the food to come out, but I'll chop that up to it being fresh and made to order vs pre-heated then just cooked. You can however make it quicker by downloading the QR code to order and pay so there is no waiting in line! I'll def come back here if I'm ever back in the area and so should you!!

The Pastele Stew was unique and reminded me of chili, but with huge pieces of moist pork. The Smoked Meat Saimin was mid and nothing special. Overall, the food was solid, but nothing really made me say "wow," want to come back, or recommend it to friends. Based on the food alone, I probably would have rated it around 3.5 stars and rounded up to 4. However, the service knocked it down to 3. The cashier was really nice, but the server came across as rude and dismissive. My brother's katsu was missing the hurricane sauce, and when he mentioned it, the server initially said, "We typically charge $2 for it." He fixed it without charging us, but the response still felt dismissive. He also tossed the plates onto the table, which added to the overall unfriendly experience. Overall, decent food, but the service made this a 3-star experience.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent.
