Very friendly staff, and a clean-looking truck. We got tempura shrimp tacos, and loved them!

I love shrimp, so had to try some here when we came to check out the Maui Food Trucks of Kihei. I got the Spicy Thai Basil and my bf got the Lemon Pepper. Both were yummy, and I especially liked the flavor of the Spicy Thai Basil one.

We were craving seafood and googled a location near our hotel, Maui Coast. It was only minutes away. We ordered the Ginger Teriyaki Shrimp, Cajun Shrimp and of course Popcorn Shrimp. All DELICIOUS!!!

The taste was actually pretty good but my stomach hurt afterwards so not sure what happened. Overall, decent option for a late night craving. Wouldn't go there just for these tacos!

Needed a snack before heading to the beach and decided on some shrimp from maui shrimp express. It seems that they have both the shrimp and also burgers from the same truck. The cashier was friendly and ordering was easy. We got the thai basil shrimp and it was delicious. I love my shrimp saucy and it was just the right amount of sauce. It had some heat to it, but not too much that it wasn't enjoyable. The shrimp was juicy and not over cooked and the flavor overall was great. Our order came out pretty fast and there's lots of seating by the food truck.

    Thai basil shrimp

Absolutely delicious spicy Thai basil shrimp plate. The flavors were all very much there and balanced. Definitely a spicier shrimp but the taste is something I'm still dreaming about 4 days after having it. Location is super convenient; right across from Costco and a 7 min drive from the airport. Service was fast as it's a self select kiosk, with shaded picnic tables around for eating. Overall somewhere I would happily go again to try their other options!

Excellent! Food hit the spot! I would eat here all the time if I lived here! I would recommend this place to all my friends!

The shrimp at Maui Shrimp Express was delicious! Buttery and garlicy and not feeling saturated with oil after eating. The shrimp was cooked excellently. Definitely one of the better things I ate in Maui.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

Let's just say there wasn't a single thing on the table I regretted ordering. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better. Honestly, if calories don't count on vacation, I was doing great. Huge shout out to Joe! He kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. I told him to surprise me with a drink, and he came back with the Island Magic...and wow, he wasn't kidding. That drink was dangerously good. If I didn't have a flight to catch in an hour, Joe probably would've had me missing my plane! Great food, great drinks, great service, and a clean, welcoming place. What more could you ask for? Tiffany's is officially my #1 must visit spot in Maui. Food: We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, miso butterfish, garlic furikake fries, hamachi sashimi, garlic noodles, and crispy chicken. My favorite was the hamachi sashimi. What I enjoyed about this dish was the diced maui onion that offset the citrus from the ponzu. The flavors are light, and refreshing. The most disappointing was the crispy chicken. I thought it was too salty, but that's my preference and salt tolerance. The miso butterfish was also a great dish. The fish was buttery and flavored well. Not too saucy but the perfect amount of sauce. Service: Service is friendly, like most of the restaurants on Maui. The food was served in a timely manner. The ambiance is casual and felt like a bar restaurant. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return. After ordering 6-7 dishes, I wanted to be blown away by at least 4-5 of them, but that wasn't the case. Do yourself a service and try it out at least once if you are curious!
