I love coming here when I'm craving fish! My go to is usually the mini fried poke, this plate is more than enough to make me full. I've even tried their fried tako and fresh poke which was also really good! They're usually busy so I try to place my order in advance so I don't have to wait too long and the staff is always so friendly. My only complaint would be that the plastic caps for the sauces tend to melt in the container due to the fried foods being so hot and fresh so maybe a new container or just placing the sauces on the side? Other than that, I'll still be back!
so yummy!!! The crispy tako was a huge standout and so worth it for ~$10 the poke was also so fresh and toothsome if a little salty.
This place is located in a nice food truck area with a perfect seating tables and lots of parking. Poke was super fresh and they have so many options even in smaller or bigger sizes. Service was a must to be a food truck. She was very nice and answered the questions we had. I ordered a mini plate because the bowls were too big for me. Delicious. Definitely will come again to try other options.
Nestled in an amply spaced lot outfitted with plenty of parking space and a variety of food truck genres (BBQ, American, Vietnamese, Filipino, etc) Like Poke? was a really fun stop along our trip through Maui. There were many outdoor shaded tables to choose from and the menu options across all food trucks affords variety for whatever members in your party might be in the mood to try. The crispy tako was exactly what it sounds like, octopus calamari served with two beds of rice and spicy mayo to pair along with it. I really enjoyed the freshness of the taco as well as the firm texture beneath the outer layer. The poke nachos were incredibly well balanced with the fresh poke cutting through the heartier fried wonton chip and spicy mayo perfectly.
This is a very fresh poke food truck. It's about 15 min from the airport. A great place to stop after you arrive to grab a quick bite to eat. There are 7 other food trucks in the same parking lot. Parking was free. We got two 2-item combos: one with rice and the other with salad. I liked the Hawaiian style (traditional savory) , Ginger and soy sauce (sweet) , and soyu wasabi (mildly spicy ) . They were all really delicious! It's a chill and cute place to eat with covered patio seating. The wooden picnic tables with benches give this place an island outdoorsy vibe.
Poke was great. Went there straight from the airport as soon as I arrived. Fish was very fresh and tasty. The lady working the food truck was very pleasant and informative. I would definitely eat there again.
Our very last attempt to find great poke was a huge success! I was a little disappointed at first bc they didn't have salmon and salmon is always my go to... but went ahead with the tuna they had. So glad I did. I got the poke bowl Hawaiian style and it was so fresh and some of the best poke I've had! We will be back next year when we return to the island.
Phenomenal super fresh ahi poke! Get it with the ginger soy dressing. My kid tore up this meal.
I don't know why this truck food gets high ratings review Here is my breakdown Price for 2-item combos is $ 26 plus tax For me, a poke bowl in a good truck for this price is pricy and the quality is just okay In the paper, the Togo box has less topping for plain sauce Service the lady was nice and helpful Ambiance outdoor seating with a lot of flies and hot I prefer sitting down at a restaurant better for that price
I always look forward to ordering the incredible poke nachos I love the wanton crackers and sometimes I treat myself to the amazing poke bowl, which never disappoints! I did try the ahi katsu once and it was a bit dry, but I'm willing to give it another chance. I love the exceptional service here, always a positive experience. I've noticed I never have the same cashier, yet they're all consistently friendly! They're conveniently located at the Wailuku food truck, right across from Subway, with plenty of tables to relax with coworkers, family, friends, or even solo - it's the perfect spot for everyone!
Every time we come to Maui, this is a must do! The hubby & I have only been to Maui twice but have made it a point to come here both times! I love ahi Katsu and the hubby loves his poke so this is a perfect spot for both of us! This place was originally at the food truck area across from Costco but has since moved. They have 3 different types of ahi Katsu here: the original ahi Katsu, ahi Katsuyaki (ahi Katsu dipped in Teri sauce), and spicy ahi Katsu. They do have a sampler plate with all 3 but, we opted for just the ahi Katsuyaki. Each plate is made fresh to order and comes with 2 scoops of rice, a bed of lettuce and a side of sauce. The poke is always fresh, never frozen. The first time the hubby got spicy ahi which he liked. This time he opted for Hawaiian Poke with a soy based sauce, onion, and limu (seaweed). I'm not much of a raw fish person but loved this! It was so fresh with no fishy taste. The workers were friendly and so grateful to have bought from their truck. We'll definitely be back again next time!
Got lucky and came in before they ran out of poke/closed. Located les than 10-15 from the airport. Was able to get a Poke Nachos to share. The Poke itself tasted pretty fresh, well sauced, and had a great kick to it. Pretty large portion too, lots of fish and wonton chips. The woman who helped us was also very nice to take us before she closed up for the day. Worth trying if you're looking for poke before or after the airport.
So this was an experiment for me, I have never had a poke bowl and had no idea what to expect as a "recently decided fish tacos are good" convert i decided to try them out. I have never been a huge fan of sushi and that might be part of the reason for my maybe on this. What i can say is it wasn't terrible the flavor was on point and I very much enjoyed the Hawaiian style poke they had the only downside for me was the texture of the fish, that's probably just a me thing. The seating was good it's a food truck so it's what you would expect (other food trucks available as well in same area) the operator was friendly enough and all in all if you are familiar with ahi tuna and like it it's worth a try
I feel like Like Poke was one of the original food trucks on Maui -- long before food trucks started popping up everywhere. They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason. read more

Super friendly and helpful choosing a poke bowl!! Fish was exceptionally fresh and delicious!! Would come Back for sure!! read more
Local Poke truch with great Poke. I had the Spicy (Sriracha mayo) and the Shoyu Wasabi. Both were excellent. My wife had the shoyu ginger, which was good and fresh, but needed a little more marinade. It wasn't bad- but I didn't love the seaweed salad. I'd go back again gladly and get other things. Really good read more

Fish wasn't fresh. Discolored and had a smell to it. I'm a poke lover born and raised on fish. This was not fresh nor prepared in a way that it was edible. I wasted 90% of the poke. The rice was better than the fish. Sad. read more

Food: - sampler: good and flavorful - fried poke: super flavorful batter, fish tasted super fresh, the batter is not thick - both on a bed of lettuce - good portion size (1 plate is shareable) - I would get the poke nachos next time Service: - allowed us to order 15 minutes before they officially opened - soy sauce at the counter Ambiance: - three other food trucks in the same lot - plenty of parking - remember to bring your own water read more
I was dying to have poke as soon as we boarded our plane. The Like Poke food truck is conveniently located close to the airport and so it became our natural first stop. I got the Poke Bowl Combo which comes with two choices of poke. I chose the Shoyu Ginger sauce, which is described as a sweet-style poke, and the Spicy sauce, which is a creamy, Sriracha aioli. It was so fresh and delicious. Service was also very friendly and fast. In hindsight, I regret not trying their furikake fries and Shoyu Wasabi poke, as I've now read good things about them. Ah well, next time! read more
Aloha! Let me say that Like poke was a great experience. We discovered them from a local. Said this is the best! So we had to come. It in a quiet area, hidden. It's located in a parking lot next to some local shops. Has a seating area and this truck was delicious. The menu has a small selection, the portions are generous for up to 2 people. I came e with a group of friends, and we tried the Shoyu Ginger Poke, crispy Tako, baked poke, katsu sampler and the spicy poke and it was DELICIOUS! The sitting area was peaceful and clean. They do sell out, had a line when we went, BUT THATS HOW YOU KNOW ITS GOOD. read more
This is what got me into poke. I ordered the shoyu ginger and Hawaiian style. Flavors were on point. They were well seasoned. Each bite made me want even more. I haven't tasted anything back home in Illinois that matches the same quality. Service was wonderful, they were very pleasant. Prices were reasonable. You can find them in the food truck park. Plenty of parking. read more
If you haven't gotten a chance to try out their classics at their new location in the Wailuku Food Truck Park, you're definitely missing out on some great local cuisine - my favorite has to be the Furikake Fries and the Poké bake, though their signature Fried Poké is a community favorite for a reason read more

I was craving poke and had to stop to try theirs. It's close to the airport and have a variety of options for poke. I recommend the hurricane fried poke and you have to also get the furikake fries! So good you will devour them. The young man working the truck was super friendly and service was great! No line when I arrived but even then they are worth a wait in line! Must stop place now when in Maui. read more
I would go back to Maui just for their shoyu wasabi poke. I found the best flavor and I dont think I can have it any other way. The fish was so fresh and the flavor was so perfect. My parents are picky eaters and they loooooved this flavor so much they wanted more. Trust me, this never happens. I absolutely love all the greens in here too. The sprouts were a great touch but also it was so goooood! I hate when rice is undercooked or too mushy at poke places but man, gotta hand it to them, they got everything down. read more

On the final day of our vacation, with toddlers in tow and Tropical Storm Hone looming a few hundred miles away, we made the drive across the island to try out Like Poke. It was, without a doubt, the best decision we made during our trip. This food truck served us the most spectacular meal we had on the entire island. We sampled the Shoyu-ginger, Shoyu Wasabi, and Spicy Tuna, and each dish was better than the last. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced--each bite was a reminder of why Maui's food scene is so celebrated. Even with the storm on the horizon, Like Poke was an oasis of culinary delight. I will be coming back to Maui just to have another taste of this incredible food. If you're on the island, do yourself a favor and make this a priority--rain or shine. read more

You know how sometimes you have the problem of too many chips after you finish the fish? YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS HERE. If I could give this a million stars, I would in an absolute heartbeat. I would honestly fly to Maui just so I could eat the poke nachos, which were $19. Some might say it is quite pricey but considering that the price of fish went up and the amount that they fish they give, it is so worth it. If you can, I highly recommend going early because they do sell out of fish! I wanted to get the poke nachos a second time during my 3 day stay there but they ran out of fish by 2pm. They also have furikake fries which I would've loved to try but the portions for the nachos were just so big that I didn't feel the need to order anymore. read more
