    Shrimp scampi yum!
    Michael R.

Ok so this location is two restaurants in one. They also are Maui Shrimp and it smells good in there. I will be back to try the custom poke bowls, but their shrimp scampi is fantastic. The lady in there is very nice, will give you ideas, and is quick to make your food. You won't be disappointed!

    White rice, ahi and mango.

Very friendly service and helpful. Fresh poke bowls and lemonade where our lunch. A tiny shop with plenty of outside seating.

Fresh Spicy Ahi Tuna made with fresh maui onion, avocado, and fish egg - absolutely refreshing and flavorful! Mahalo plenty, Wyatt!

My custom poke bowl for a late lunch today was really delicious - the best poke I've had in Kihei! Wyatt, at Maui Poke, provided excellent service! He's the best!

Custom poke bowl with white rice, salmon, steak, edamame, pineapple, jalapeños, scallions, cilantro, and teriyaki sauce.

To start off, the service was incredible. We had an incredibly nice server who helped us pick our custom and bowls and made it like a fun little adventure. The food turned out being really good. I got salmon and steak and it tasted amazing. Inside it was a little dirty and messy but it was close to closing time so it was what you would expect. I'm very happy I tried this place and would totally recommend!

Just not fresh or good you have to know what you are going to order. no pre made bowls on menu . Go to Maui Fish Co. if you want fresh Poke.

I made daily trips to their location in Kihei which was next door to a condo I rented in July. I stopped in for coffee everyday which was always freshly brewed and tasty. They also had a nice assortment of wine, beer, pre-mixed cocktails and other beverages, most of them chilled and ready to enjoy. I purchased lots of snacks to enjoy with my beverages, such as cheese, crackers and chips. Service was top notch! The ladies there were friendly, kind and very helpful at answering a wide variety of questions I had about things to do, how to properly apply zinc-based sunscreen and where to mail postcards. I would seek out other 808 Deli's should I return to HI.

This deli is located in a strip mall and is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. On one side they have the ordering area with a beverage cooler, a display case, and hats for sale with their logo. The other side has seating and can probably fit around 30 to 40 people. For lunch on this day I went with the chicken pesto panini while my father went with a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut. The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.

All the tables were full of tourist families - it was good vibes, the tables separated by white sheer curtains giving it a little elegance. But there was really terrible cheesey top 40 radio playing which offset everything and was a little distracting for me tbh I got the Crab cake app - it deep fried with lots of filler. Not amazing. There was a lot of mahi on the menu! Their liquor selection was more limited than I'd think - so I skipped a cocktail. I got the Mac crusted mahi - sadly it was flavorless and the sauce was cold. The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

We came here twice and I got the 3 bao slider combo each time. - The BAO*CHICKA*BAO*BAO was one of my favorite sandwiches. - My second favorite was the ISLAND PIGGY. I got this both times. - the LITTLE PIGGY was good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. But good to try. - the DUCK DUCK GOAT was wildly disappointing. As you can see in the picture, all meat and almost nothing else. Maybe a few silvers of cabbage. But where's the goat cheese and the fig jam?!? We also got the ALOHA TOTS. Huge portion so that was nice. But the kalua pork was pretty watery and made the crispy tots go soggy pretty fast. Overall a solid spot. Definitely worth trying at least once.

It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious! We came during happy hour and ordered several dishes. My favorite was the Oregano Pizza--so flavorful and incredibly yummy! I also had the ahi tuna salad, which I absolutely loved. The simple, meatless nachos were another crowd favorite at our table. I also tried the Kula Berry Mojito.
