The chicken Parmesan didn't have Parmesan. They served it with what I would assume is frozen chicken nuggets and a bland sauce over spaghetti. The Italian sub was not what I would call a traditional sub and the Lamb Gyro barely had any meat, more bread to the sandwich than anything else. I really wanted to like 806 Pizza House. I also want them to stay in business, so I hope my comments will motivate them to address the issues noted. One thing l liked about 806 Pizza was that the guys who were standing around talking in the kitchen when I came in were nice & friendly folks. They were quick to make me feel welcomed. They were also efficient in getting my order cooking. The calzone I ordered had good flavor and was *huge*. Bonus points for the amount of mozerella cheese they packed into that behemoth. So much it came drooling out in lovely delicious globs while I ate. Price was in line with quality and quantity, so decent value eating. So the people & food are the good points about 806 Pizza that earned them two stars. But I experienced sanitation issues. - The building looked a little tired overall, including the interior, but that I can forgive them since there's only so much you can do cost effectively when you don't own it. But the lack of remodel does speak to the level of commitment to the business. - The table where I sat had crumbs from previous diners on it. So it obviously hadn't been cleaned off. I'm afraid that serves as an indication of overall focus on cleanliness. Instead of chatting in the kitchen, perhaps one of the guys could keep an eye on the dining area. - There were flies. Perhaps four to six of them. But they were persistent enough to be a constant annoyance while I was eating, having to bat them away from my food and my face. - Bathroom door was beat up (outer lamination had broken off chips along the bottom) and had gaps between the door & the frame (door didn't hang straight). - A bunch of 2 liter beverage bottles, likely for delivery orders, stored on the floor (code violation) immediately outside restroom door (major code violation). Come guys, you know better than to do something so flagrantly unsanitary. Please get some shelving, locate it away from the restrooms, and load it with the bottles. Simple & easy. Do it for the sake of your customers' health & your business. I want you to succeed in your efforts. Ignoring the codes isn't helping. read more

The service was terrible. The guy at the front desk was very rude and could not have been more irritated that he was at work. I travel a lot for work and this place was highly recommended by a co-worker from this area. As I was sitting and waiting on my food, the phone rang. After the guy yelled F&$@ he, very annoyingly, answered and took an order. The food was okay but the experience was so unpleasant that I will not be back, or recommending to anyone else. read more

So I really wanted to like this place. They just got a new location so I figured I might as well check it out. I called in an order over the phone to pick up, the girl who answered was really polite but I was put on hold a few times. And she didn't know about items on the menu. I ordered a calzone combo. That order was fine, I then added a turkey sub but before adding it I asked if it comes with cheese, she said she "didn't know". Regardless I ordered it anyway. The calzone was great! A good size too, my turkey sub however was a BIG disappointment, it was literally mostly bread and lettuce. The bread was over toasted and so hard. I had to break it with my hand. It didn't come with cheese (although that didn't bother me) and had two thin slices of turkey in it. So if you do decide to check this place out, I recommend getting a calzone. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch. The pizza on the buffet looked a little old but we were after the lunch rush so 'twas to be expected. The guy behind the counter looked a total slob but was pleasant and very cordial. He recommended the buffet was the way to go and offered to make us a fresh pie. We got the buffet for two at $20.00 which included drinks. A great price. The salad bar was meh. A variety of toppings but the lettuce was beginning to brown. The biggest thing is that the dressing is all pre-packaged. It was Kens, which is better than any other IMO, but still. Just make your own ranch. So much better than bought stuff. The pizza was decent but I found the crust to be too sweet. The fresh pie was ready fast and just what we had asked for. The toppings were pretty plentiful too. The older pizza on the buffet was actually pretty good. It was under lights, but was still really hot and the cheese was gooey. An unexpected bonus. So, now your asking 3 stars for pre-packaged ranch? No, the food and service was four stars. The three stars is for the arguing. I don't know if they're the owners, siblings, married or what but the guy at the counter and a lady working there bickered the ENTIRE TIME. They were loud, rude to each other and angry. There was so much arguing my table didn't talk much. Maybe they don't realize the dinning room can hear all the talking, crashing dishes, banging metal and the details of their arguing? Yes this place is spot on for there pizza....and a nice selection on their salad bar but best time to get it fresh as far as their pizza is when they first put it out and then your talking about hot and fresh and I believe beats most pizza joints in Plainview tried their buffet and its worth the price included is the drink so go check them out I thin you'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

Food was good, but they need more help. The gentleman running the place was also busing tables, refilling the buffet etc.

They have messed up our order on many occasions. This last time takes the pie so to speak. They had to completely remake order it wad so wrong so it took double the time to get. Calzone still wrong and looked as though it had been dropped. When I called them the "nice" manager apologized and said the next time we ordered they would replace it... so I called tonight at 8:25 I was told there was no manager to talk to that the manger wouldn't be back for an hour. That the new girl was alone there...then she said the others in back told her the calzone I was owed had to be oked thru a manager. They said they had no way of contacting a manager. (Every restaurant has a number for employees to call if no manager is in) was a manager for 11 years. Needless to say they refuse to fix their mistake. Marina had no interest in helping because I argued with her, because she refused to give me a corporate# or an owner. Then she chose to hang up on me. We order a couple times a month and spent at least$60-90 AND tip the driver$10-15 on top of the delivery charge they already get. We have had patience in the past. Mistakes happen. The customer service is completely terrible! I ordered from the online menu & every single price was more expensive than what was being advertised. Then I called them 2 minutes later trying to cancel the order and get a refund and they told me the food was already made & being delivered. I am Italian and that is not a margarita pizza they serve. It's a Greek pizza minus the vinegar just strange. Way to much olive oil.

We stopped here and Jason was so super helpful with making our selections and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. All the staff couldn't be nicer if they tried. We ended up getting the rib dinner and for the amount of food we got vs what we paid, it was an awesome deal. We will be back to try the pizzas! I have lived in NY so I know pizza. I know calzones...let's face it, I know Italian food. 806 Pizza House and its owner Etienne, have, to use an oil term as they are in the heart of oil country, dug a well and struck black gold. My first bite of the lightly crispy, hand tossed, pepperoni pizza left me wondering what this place was doing in this small town. My second bite began a symphony of flavors playing across my palette. The pepperoni pizza was amazing and it just got better from there. Next was the "meat lover" pizza and I was met with a flavor I had not tasted before in a pizza. The smoked bacon accents to the rest of the pizza was a crescendo to the already fantastic tastes. I wish I could stop there. The Marguerita (Mediterranean style) pizza was out of this world! It turned out to be my favorite and the only downside to it was that I filled up on the other pizzas before trying. Lesson learned. I can't wait to get back here and try something new! Maybe a sandwich or pasta. Either way, you really are doing yourself an injustice by not coming here and letting Etienne fix you a pie (NY for pizza) and enjoying the great tastes. This place was not good. My daughter got a burger, I got wings and my wife got the shrimp. All of it was frozen food nothing hand made. My wings came with Newman's own ranch.... Ate here tonight on our way back from Lubbock. Great food and service. The pizza was delicious and the calzone was a very generous size loaded with cheese and toppings- loved the unique flavor of the crust! The spaghetti was just alright, but was a huge portion.
