The service and staff make you feel welcome, they're friendly, quick - all the things you could ask for to enhance your experience. They offer it. The location is nice if you're anywhere near the Tech campus area. It's right on Broadway. Parking can be tough if it's busy. There is street parking and a lot, but neither are the most plentiful. The food is the real star though. Their wings are incredible, and they don't mess around with the spice. They can be hot! I love the jalapeño poppers. Where else gives you a real popper and not just a frozen and deep fried version? As for the pizza...I'm pleased to say it's the best part of an already awesome place. It doesn't matter what kind you get, you'll be happy with your choice. The Last Call Pizza deserves it's own paragraph. I think I can confidently say it's my favorite pizza of all time. And the second time I had it, confirmed just that. Look at this description - "Homemade smoky pizza sauce and alfredo sauce, topped with cheese, bacon, sausage, sunny-side-up eggs, and drizzled with our sriracha sauce". It's INCREDIBLE! Can't recommend this place enough, if you're in Lubbock get over here!

I did a take out order and the guy on the phone was really great. I finally branched out and tried the Wook and the QT pie and the cheesy bread. All are solid. The wook is probably my least favorite due to the huge pieces of brie on top but that's because I don't care for brie all that much. Red onions was a nice touch and the chiles are good. QT pie is also not bad but nothing super special. Mexican bingo is still my favorite.

My husband had the spaghetti works with Italian sausage and meatballs and loved it. This time we skipped the appetizer so we could order dessert. The cannoli and chocolate mousse cake did not disappoint. I wish we lived closer, this would be a regular stop for us.

The absolute closest you're going to get to a flavored and textured East Coast calzone is here at Mia's! They're ham and ricotta calzone is just like something you would order at a mom-and-pop shop in Pennsylvania or New York, and it's incredible! Both the calzone and a stromboli are generously filled cooked with a wonderful crunchy and well flavored yeast-based dough and crust with a light coating of a delicate butter garlic. These both came out piping hot! The cheese sticks were well sized and generously portion, but the bruschetta is by and large an absolute star of their appetizer menu. Generous amounts of tomato basil and onion with a olive oil and balsamic dressing. You could absolutely make that a meal on its own! I have not had a cannoli just yet, because I am quite in love with their chocolate mousse cake! A fair slice, very rich yet very light. On my next visit I plan on getting pasta and the cannoli!! All the staff were incredibly prompt, incredibly kind and stayed on top of any refills or extra needs. The food came out with great rapidity and we're all hot and accurate. Seating in here is very comfortable and open air. It is such a bright spot for Italian food in the middle of West texas, you absolutely should make the drive to Mia's!

But I'm not here to discuss their excellent pizza, the generous slices, or the largest pie in the region. I'm here to gush about their soda. I only have one vice in life: Dr Pepper. I visit near-daily to sit and watch old David Letterman clips on my phone, and nothing pairs as well with talk-show clips from the 1980s quite like an ice-cold Dr Pepper. I don't know what their trick is, but it's the perfect balance of syrup & carbonation. What's more is the availability of that delightful ice all enthusiasts crave: small & airy, which allows each cube to harbor your soda of choice within it's cracks for a flavor-filled burst with every satisfying crunch. Staff is invariably friendly and attentive, and seem to have no qualms about a daily dip into Letterman clips. Ownership is likewise friendly & kind, and offer up a warm greeting any time we cross paths. There's always a clean table available (sanitized with Fabuloso® if I'm guessing correctly), there are a couple of arcade machines (play Pac-Man while you wait!), and much of the restaurant is tastefully decorated with Super Mario memorabilia. If you're anything like me, and h*ck, who isn't, you'll love catching up with your favorite David Letterman clips and enjoying a slice of pepperoni while sipping an otherworldly example of Dr Pepper. It is my view that Georgio's merits all five stars, a blue ribbon, numerous gold medals and a Nobel peace prize.
